Rakul signs Mahesh film with out listening to script
AR Murugadoss a little while ago officially announced that Rakul Preet Singh will be the lead lady in his next with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Earlier they said Parineeti Chopra will be playing the female lead in the film. But now it is said that Rakul Preet Singh replaced her due to remuneration and some other issues
Rakul is upbeat about the film and revealed her excitement in an interview earlier today, “I didn’t even listen to the script, but gave the nod to act in the film keeping faith in Murugadoss sir. It was like a dream come true for me to work with Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu. I am sure Murugadoss sir will come up with a solid character for me”.
The film is the first bilingual film in the actor’s career and will be made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Mahesh will himself dub for the Tamil version as well. Rumours also suggest that he will be seen as an intelligence officer in the film which questions our legal system. If this happens to be true, Mahesh Babu will be seen in a Never before seen role in the film.

Now, Naidu No More A Telangana Citizen
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu seems to have decided to cut off his relationship with Telangana permanently. Naidu, who is also the TDP’s National Committee President, has instructed his officials to change his address in his Aadhar card from Hyderabad to Guntur district. He wanted the house he is residing at Undavalli currently as his permanent address in Andhra.
At present, the house he and his family members residing in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad is Chandrababu’s permanent address. Babu also requested the Election Commission to register his name in the list of voters from Guntur and delete his name from the Hyderabad voter’s list.
Naidu has been spending most of his time in his over front residence at Vijayawada and is also busy shifting his entire administrative staff from Hyderabad to the new capital near Velagapudi.

Records are meant to be broken. Most probably, any content whether it is a teaser or trailer of a star hero film hitting YouTube, it is setting new records most of the times. Similarly, young tiger Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage teaser has also smashed all previous records.
Interestingly, Janatha Garage Malayalam version teaser is also setting a high new bar. It is the most viewed Malayalam teaser with 1.6 Million views already. Mammotty starrer Kasaba teaser was the previous best.Superstar Mohanlal is playing a vital role in Janatha Garage. His presence and interesting teaser is causing YouTube storm. The teaser crossed 1 million views in just 69 hours. This is indeed fastest Malayalam film teaser to achieve the feat.
Demand is high for distribution rights of Janatha Garage in all the centers in Kerala. The movie is expected to make record satellite business in Malayalam. In fact, talks are on for the rights, as per reports. Mohanlal holds all the rights of the Malayalam version.
Currently, the film unit is canning climax portions in Hyderabad. Talkie part is almost done. Audio will be launched in 22nd of this month in Hyderabad. Release of the movie along with Malayalam version is due on August 22nd.Janatha Garage has many chances to break several box office records too in Malayalam with two other local artists Nithya Menon and Unni Mukundan playing crucial roles.
What is Raviteja’s Problem?
Reports are emerging that Mass Maharaja had rejected a script narrated by Bobby and Kona Venkat. This is the third dropped project of Raviteja on a trot after his last film, Bengal Tiger. The actor opted for a long break after his last film, Bengal Tiger. He had a film, Yevado Okadu which was shelved after its launch.
And then he planned ‘Robinhood’ in the direction of a new comer, Chakri after that and even traveled with the director for few months. But then the movie is also shelved. Now, Raviteja is waiting for a script to be narrated by Ramesh Varma. The director previously did Veera with Raviteja which was a big disaster.
There are alarming signals for Raviteja that he may have passed his prime. The actor is not in a hurry to do films and is keen to look for a good script even though if that means waiting longer. But Raviteja’s fans are badly missing him on screen and are eagerly waiting for his next film’s announcement.
Baahubali-2 started stunning Trade Pundits
Baahubali – The Conclusion had already started surprising the trade pundits. The business of the Tamil version of the film is complete and it had fetched a whopping 54 Crore for the makers which is the highest ever price fetched by any dubbing film in Tamil. If this is the case with Tamil, the hype in Telugu trade can not be imagined.
The team is currently canning the climax of the film. Sources close to the movie team tells us that they are spending a whopping 30 Crore for this schedule alone. That is almost equal to many films’ budget. They are planning to wrap up entire shoot by November and begin post production work.The makers of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali – The Conclusion have already revealed their plans of releasing the film on April 14th, 2017 as Summer Special.
On the other side, the makers of the film are planning to release the First Look Teaser of the movie on the eve of Dussehra. 14th April, 2017 is considered as excellent release timing for the film as Summer, Tamil New Year, Good Friday and No Bollywood biggies before or after 50 days.
Kabali begins Anti Piracy war
Superstar Rajinikanth mania is gripping Tamil Nadu and Telugu States as his much awaited film, Kabali is releasing on 22nd of this month. The makers are making sure that the movie gets biggest release for Telugu and Tamil versions. On the other side, the makers have started their efforts to battle piracy.
Kalaipuli Thanu, the producer of the film filed a petition in Madras High Court to direct concerned authorities to stop unlawful websites from uploading. They will very soon also deploy a team to control the offline piracy of the film. We will have to see if they can really rein the menace!
Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of an aging gangster in the movie. Ranjith Pa is wielding megaphone for the movie in which Radhika Apte will be seen alongside Rajinikanth. Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing the film on V Creations banner. Santosh Narayanan had composed music for the film.
What’s Next Niharika?
Niharika Konidela managed to get a huge hype for her debut movie launch, but the movie Oka Manasu itself failed to match the hype. Though she got pass marks with her acting abilities, Niharika needs to brush up herself in many aspects. The question on many minds is how her debut impressed Mega family and are they ready to push her to next film which obviously needs a big banner, better director, commercial plot and ofcourse a bigger hero.
Looking at her Oka Manasu result and performance, many opine that Niharika fits better in sister roles with good importance in films or she can turn a queen on small screen, which is her forte and comfort zone already.
No one can expect glamour shows from a girl coming from Mega family and Niharika has to concentrate on interesting stories, which are always rare to find in Tollywood. Let us see where the young mega heroine wants to place her next step.
Apple gears up for technology integration with Cisco
Las Vegas: Technology giant Apple is working on plans to facilitate integration of Cisco’s Spark business collaboration service with iPhones in an effort to offer enterprise customers a better calling experience over Internet.Apple chief Tim Cook has said the company is making iOS devices to work better on Cisco technologies than any other mobile platform. “With iOS 10, we are making it easier to make and receive voice and video calls over IP (Internet Protocol). Now, Cisco Spark will integrate with iPhone for first-class calling experience.
It’s a seamless integration,” Cook said in a video message at the Cisco Live Conference here. Last year, Cisco had forged a strategic partnership with Apple, under which it optimised its network for iOS devices and apps, integrating iPhones with its solutions and providing collaboration capabilities on iPhones and iPads.
“Together with Cisco, we believe that we can take the work experience to the next level by ensuring that iPhones and iPads work together with Cisco technologies,” Cook said. Apple has been working closely with Cisco teams to help create a seamless experience of Cisco software and network on iOS gadgets.The iOS integration with Spark will give users access to contacts, ‘recents’, and favourites. Users will also be able to answer calls directly from the lock screen.
No Daggubati Multistarer
Earlier the other day, we have reported a rumour about a possible Daggubati Multistarer. The report said Ravikanth Perepu who made a successful debut with Kshanam, is preparing script for the Multistarer film. But the director had confirmed that there is no truth in these rumours.
“I do not know from where and how these rumours come up. I am not working on any such script. I have almost completed the script for my next project and will very soon make an announcement,” the young director said. The clarification comes as a huge disappointment for Daggubati family fans who are very excited.
Venkatesh and Rana always maintained they are open to do a multistarer film together but wants a script which will live up to the hype and expectations that project will create. Given the super success of Akkineni Multistarer – Manam, the expectations on the family multistarer films have increased by multiple proportions.
