Neelambari on the way for Rajinikanth
The role of Neelambari portrayed by Ramya Krishna is the landmark film in the actress career. No one can really forgot the role in Narasimha movie. Now Ramya Krishna and Rajinikanth are coming together after these many years. The actress who recently began her second innings with Baahubali, was roped in for Rajinikanth’s 2.0 to play an important role.
2.0 is currently being shot in Talakona, Andhra Pradesh. Rajinikanth will join the team next month. We already know that Bollywood Star Hero Akshay Kumar will be making his South debut as baddie in the film. According to reliable sources, the movie is titled ‘Chitti 2.0’ in Telugu and the title is also registered with the Film Chamber.
The movie is being shot in 3D made with top technicians from all over the globe making it a complete world class film. Amy Jackson is the female lead. The movie will be costing a whopping 350 Crore according to an estimate. The movie shooting is already 50% complete and is being planned for next year release.

China has no historical title over waters of South China Sea, rules The Hague tribunal
China has no legal basis to claim “historic rights” (sic) to islands in the South China Sea and has violated Manila’s sovereign rights, an international tribunal ruled on Tuesday, in a bitter dispute that risks stoking further tensions in Southeast Asia.”The tribunal concluded that there was no legal basis for China to claim historic rights within the sea areas falling within the ‘nine-dash line’,” The Hague-based Permanent Court of Arbitration said in a statement.
Manila — which had lodged the suit against Beijing in 2013 — welcomed the ruling but China reacted furiously, saying it “does not “accept and does not recognise” the decision.Beijing had refused to participate in the case, saying the tribunal had “no jurisdiction” over the issue.Beijing claims most of the South China Sea, even waters approaching neighbouring countries, as its sovereign territory, basing its arguments on Chinese maps dating back to the 1940s marked with a so-called “nine-dash line”.
But in its hard-hitting ruling, the PCA said Beijing “had no historic rights to resources in the waters of the South China Sea” and that “such rights were extinguished to the extent they were incompatible with the exclusive economic zones provided for in the Convention”, referring to the U.N. Law of the Sea.”China had violated the Philippines’ sovereign rights in the exclusive economic zone by interfering with Philippine fishing and petroleum exploration, by constructing artificial islands and failing to prevent Chinese fishermen from fishing in the zone,” the PCA said.The tribunal further ruled that the disputed Spratly islands “cannot generate maritime zones collectively as unit” as claimed by China.
Manila welcomes ruling
The Philippines welcomed the ruling, Foreign Secretary Perfecto Yasay said, as he urged restraint.
“The Philippines welcomes the issuance today… on the arbitration proceedings initiated by the Philippines with regard to the South China Sea,” Mr. Yasay told reporters minutes after the court in The Hague released its verdict.Tuesday’s judgement comes against the backdrop of frequent military brushes between China and its Asian neighbours the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan, which ring the waters believed to hold untapped oil and gas reserves.The tensions have also alarmed the United States which has key defence treaties with many regional allies, and in a show of strength last week sent warships to patrol close to some of the reefs and islands claimed by China.
New Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte had said he was optimistic of a favourable ruling, but offered to hold conciliatory talks with China and vowed he would not “taunt or flaunt” any favourable ruling.Referring to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, Manila contended the “nine-dash” line had no basis under international law and that Beijing had no “historic” claim to the waters.
Thikka Promotions Plan
Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s Thikka is currently in the last leg of its shoot. The makers are currently shooting a duet on the lead pair in Leh, Kashmir. The First Look Teaser of the film will be released on 20th of this month. The audio release event of the movie is being planned for July 30th.
Thikka is being planned for August 22nd release as Chiranjeevi’s Birthday Special. Thikka is being directed by Om 3D fame Sunil Reddy and it also comes with a caption ‘Handle with Care’. It is interesting to note that Sai Dharam Tej has given a chance to Sunil Reddy despite a disastrous debut directorial, Om 3D.
Mumaith Khan will be seen in an important role in the movie. Foreign Model, Larissa Bonesi is playing the female lead in this film. Mannara Chopra is the other heroine. Thaman is composing music for the film. Sai Dharam Tej recently made a hattrick of success with his Summer release, Supreme being the biggest hit of his career. Interesting title for Ravibabu’s Piglet film
Our readers are aware that Ravibabu who has got a name for himself as a variety director, is coming up with a film in which a piglet plays a central role. The makers have announced that the movie is being titled ‘Adhugo’. The makers will very soon begin their promotions by announcing the movie release plan.
Ravibabu reportedly did study behavioural characteristics of pigs by observing them closely for few months. The shooting of the film began in March and the director managed to complete the shoot in three months. The makers are currently working on the post production. The makers have flown in a piglet from Australia for the film shoot.
The team reportedly used a silicon model piglet to shoot some sequences.The director reportedly worked on this idea for one and half year before execution. Newcomers Abhishek and Nabha are playing protagonists in the film where in the piglet plays a crucial role. Suresh Babu is producing the film on his Suresh Productions banner.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali has completed its censor formalities in Tamil the other day and managed U certificate. Sources say that the movie run time is 2 hours 32 minutes. The slick run time will be perfect for an action entertainer for the audience to sit through and enjoy the show.

Nithin, Samantha and Trivikram Srinivas’ A..Aa has completed its full run at the box office. The movie had managed to collect 47.48 Crore Share in its full run, missing the coveted 50 Crore Share club by a whisker. It would have been a monumental achievement for the movie if it had reached there.

Reddy turns KCR’s Enemy
Congress senior leader S Jaipal Reddy, who has been maintaining silence, had now become another big enemy to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

But the standoff with one woman, identified by friends as Ieshia Evans and captured in a widely used image by Reuters freelance photographer Jonathan Bachman, has encapsulated for some the spirit of demonstrators across the United States protesting in the past week what they decry as unjust treatment of minorities by police.“You’ll be seeing this iconic photo from #BatonRouge & versions of it, for the rest of your life,” a man named David Law said on Twitter on Monday.
The Atlantic magazine called the image, which prompted comments on social media from around the world, “a single photo from Baton Rouge that’s hard to forget”. The Washington Post said it “captured a critical moment for the country,” while Britain’s Daily Mail website called it “an iconic arrest photo”.Ms. Evans is a licensed practical nurse who lives in Pennsylvania, according to online records and a Facebook page that appears to belong to her.
“This is the work of God,” she wrote on Facebook after her arrest. “I am a vessel! Glory to the most high! I’m glad I’m alive and safe.”Baton Rouge has become a flashpoint for protesters after Alton Sterling, 37, was shot and killed last week by city police who were responding to a call that he had threatened someone with a gun outside a convenience store where he was selling CDs.

‘Making her stand’

Mr. Bachman said the officers grabbed Ms. Evans and hurried her away, with the whole incident lasting only about 30 seconds.After her arrest, Ms. Evans ended another Facebook post with, “Peace, love, blk power! #blacklivesmatter.” She asked friends not to give interviews on her behalf, saying she wanted to tell her own story, but said later she was not ready to speak to reporters.
