Telangana political JAC Chairman Kodandaram meeting with union minister for labour Bandaru Dattatrya raised speculations in political circles that the JAC leader inclined towards the saffron party.Kodandaram met the union minister and submitted a memorandum requesting to solve the bifurcation of high court immediately following unrest in the judicial community in Telangana.

The JAC leader meeting with Dattatrya assumed significance as the former raised a banner of revolt against KCR government recently. However, he clarified that he met the minister only to address the long pending court division between AP and Telangana.

Kodandaram was already invited to join congress but he stayed away from plunging into active politics as he was still associated with social organizations and peoples movements.

If there has been any political leader who achieved tremendous mileage with sentiment, then it is none other than Telangana CM and TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao. Now even other leaders are trying to exploit this kind of flavor and following his path.
Currently, the judges agitation going on in Telangana against appointment of Andhra Pradesh origin judges for most of the vacancies in the region is taking serious turns.

Telangana CM KCR has appealed Centre to this effect even as KTR delivered a punch. KTR had tweeted saying it is welcome to see AP administration shift to Amaravathi, and now they should also decide about moving High Court. This was seen as nudge albeit indirectly showing that Chandrababu can decide about Hyderabad high court as well.

For this, Chandrababu Naidu, who has returned recently from his visit to China reportedly said to media in Delhi that they are creating justice city in Amaravathi for this purpose only. The punch from Babu was ‘we have lost everything after bifurcation; moving High court is no big deal.

Andhra Jyothy, as the name suggests, is supposed to highlight the issues concerning the people of Andhra Pradesh. One can understand it also takes up the issues of Telangana, as it has headquarters in Hyderabad and till recently, both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were united.But how would understand if the paper takes up the cause of neighbouring Karnataka that would be detrimental to the interests of Telugu states? Well, only Andhra Jyothy can do it.

It is about the Karantaka government’s indifferent attitude towards the Almatti dam on Krishna river.

It says though the Centre had permitted the Karnataka government to raise the dam height to 524 metres, it has been kept still at 519 metres and is not taking any steps to raise the height. So, the daily question as to when Karnataka government would up from slumber and raise the dam height.

One can understand if it is a statement of a local opposition leader; but it is the special story of Andhra Jyothy which questioned the government’s apathy. Naturally, it is shocking to the people of Andhra and Telangana, which have been protesting against the raising of Almatti dam height for ages.How can a Telugu daily write the story against the interests of Telugu people? Well, only Radhakrishna can do it.

AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his brother-in-law and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna always shared a good rapport both personally and politically. Often, Balayya heaps praises on Babu’s governance and even Babu reciprocated in the same way on a few occasions.

But looks like business is business for Babu when it comes to taking decisions. Yesterday, Babu finalised the postings for Executive Officer at the Vijayawada Kanakadurga temple.

Inside buzz in the political circles is that Balayya recommended the present Joint EO’s name for the EO post to Chandrababu, but Babu ignored Balayya’s recommendation and got the IAS officer Surya Kumari posted as the EO upon former Chief Secretary’s lobbying.Apparently, Balayya is upset with Babu ignoring his recommendation. On the other hand, Babu reportedly made the decision since he only wanted an IAS officer for the EO post.

“A benami of AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh has purchased crores of worth temple lands at throwaway prices in Chennai”, YSR Congress party leader P Gowtham Reddy alleged.

He said that the benami Niranjan Babu, who owned only 8 acres of land in Krishna district, bought about 83 acres of temple lands, raising many doubts on the accumulation of his wealth.

“It was nothing but the operation of land sharks with the blessings of Chief Minister and his son”, the YSR Congress leader said and demanded the government to revoke the auction of temple lands and come for an open debate on the entire issue.
