Director Maruthi might have moved to next level with Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and his next Babu Bangaram (BB), yet the writer-director hasn’t given up his habit of imbibing double-meaning dialogues. With just-released Rojulu Marayi, Maruthi has again proved his flair for voyeuristic subjects.
Story, screenplay by Maruthi, Rojulu Marayi threads the path of his previous films Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop. There are several double entendres and vulgar jokes in Rojulu Marayi that directly hint about sex. And yes, these have struck a chord with youths to an extent while families would face embarrassing moments.
Also, the film tries its best to demean girls and shows them in poor light. His take on new-age relationships is maintained and the characters weaved around are as usual – cheating their partners. Although Maruthi had openly stated earlier that he’d not do such films, he has provided story, screenplay for such film. Looks like, Maruthi is going to do such films in one way or the other way as he hasn’t completely given it up yet.It needs to be seen how far the result of Rojulu Marayi would be on Marutih’s next BB.
Pataas Magic On The Cards ?
Writer-turned-director Anil Ravipudi provided big break for Nandamuri hero Kalyan Ram with Pataas. The director’s second movie Supreme that starred Sai Dharam Tej was also a commercial hit. Anil will next direct a movie with young and energetic hero Ram, where the actor will be playing a visually impaired man.
It is heard that, Anil Ravipudi has signed another film with Kalyan Ram who is presently working for an untitled film under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. The new film of Kalyan Ram and Anil is expected to start rolling, after the duo wrapping up their individual projects. It is yet not known, whether Kalyan Ram or any other will produce the movie.Actually, Anil Ravipudi wanted to make a mass film with Balakrishna. There were even speculations that, Anil would direct Balakrishna’s 100th movie. But, contrary to the reports, the director then made Supreme with Sai Dharam Tej.
On the flip side, Kalyan Ram is in bad phase with his last movie Sher bombing at box office. His production venture Kick 2 which had Ravi Teja also turned out as disaster. After taking some gap, Kalyan Ram is presently working for a message oriented commercial entertainer film with Puri Jagannadh and then he will team up with Anil Ravipudi who knows mass pulse.
iPhone 7 release date, specifications: Lightning headphones leaked online; missing 3.5mm jack confirmed
Apple is yet to confirm the existence of its upcoming flagship, but rumours have outlined the possibilities of what to expect from the iPhone 7. Of all the speculations that have been swirling around the upcoming flagship, there has been a lengthy debate on whether Apple would ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack from the iPhone 7 or not. According to the latest leak, Apple seems to be giving up the standard audio jack in favour of a common Lightning port for audio and charging.
The new leak shows a pair of headphones featuring a Lightning connector instead of a 3.5mm connector, which are said to come with the iPhone 7, Dutch site iPhone7.nl reported citing images sourced from Chinese social media site Weibo. The authenticity of the images not verified and could be photoshopped for all we know. It is advised to take the leak with a pinch of salt.
Last week, there was a report that suggested that Apple would ship standard 3.5mm EarPods with the iPhone 7, but also ditch the 3.5mm audio port. According to Japanese news blog Mac Otakara last week, Apple would also include a Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter so the standard EarPods and other headphones connect to the handset. But that simply adds as an extra accessory that users would have to carry every time. This may be seen as a bit of inconvenience to many.
However, all of these are just rumours and there is no confirmation on whether the iPhone 7 will or will not ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack this year. But the idea of a jack-less iPhone 7 doesn’t seem odd at all as LeEco has shown us how smartphones can still survive without it.

If Apple is willing to do the same with its iPhone 7, it needs to have an impressive trick up its sleeve to justify the loss of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Other than the headphone jack debate, there have been other rumours about the design and image leaks to show what to expect from the upcoming flagship.
While the exteriors are largely to remain same in the iPhone 7 as the current series, key upgrades include the new A10 chipset, 3GB RAM, iOS 10, dual camera for iPhone 7 Plus, OIS, waterproof and dustproof build and more. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones are expected to be launched in September and nothing is certain until then.
Will Apple buy Jay Z’s music streaming app Tidal to beat Spotify? Deal may boost Apple Music
In what could be seen as an attempt to push Apple Music streaming app closer to beating its rival Spotify, Apple is reportedly keen on acquiring Tidal music streaming app, owned by Jay Z. It can be taken as a smart move, as digital streaming and sales have become popular over the last few years.
Apple is in talks with Tidal for a possible acquisition but it is still in early stage and may not end up in a deal, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal (via TechCrunch). Apple Music currently has 15 million paid subscribers, which is just half of Spotify’s 30 million. Hip hop mogul Jay Z bought Tidal for $56m (£39m) in March last year, and is said to have added 2.5 million subscribers to its initial 540,000 numbers in just one year, taking the number of paid subscribers to over three million.
The music streaming service offers exclusive and early release of music albums by big names in the music industry, including Beyonce and Kanye West. Jay Z brought in several artistes like Madonna, Alicia Keys, Calvin Harris, Arcade fire, Nicki Minaj, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Beyonce, Daft Punk, Rihanna, Jack White, J Cole, Jason Aldean, Kanye West, Usher, and Deadmau5 as co-owners of Tidal. So, Apple seems to be keen on taking a hold of these exclusives to boost its Apple Music streaming app.
Jay Z bought Tidal at a time when it was said to be struggling with subscription numbers. It reportedly reached one million subscribers in about six months. Rihanna’s “Anti” and Kanye West’s “The Life Of Pablo” were released exclusively on the app in February this year, giving it a big boost. However, Kanye surprised many by making his popular song “Famous” on Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play Music, besides Tidal.

The police arrested several protestors while there is no assurance by the leaders on their demand.
