Chiranjeevi is Khaidhi Number 150
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film is being shot at Chanchalguda Jail. The actor will be seen as prisoner number 150 in the film, to reflect his 150th project. The makers are canning the scenes at the jail, in which the actor will be seen as the one who escapes from the jail. The Megastar will be flying to Singapore later today to attend SIIMA Awards there. The shooting will resume once he is back.
The makers are yet to finalize the actress who will be romancing the Megastar. Ram Charan and his mother Surekha will be producing the film under their new banner, Konidela Production Company. VV Vinayak is wielding megaphone for this project which happens to be the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kaththi.
Vinayak previously directed Chiranjeevi in a blockbuster Tagore which is also a remake. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music for this film. This is his second film with Chiranjeevi after Shankar Dada MBBS. The project also boasts of Top technicians like Art director Thota Tharani and Cinematographer Rathnavelu.
Special equipment for Janatha Garage shoot
Award Winning Cinematographer, Thiru who is working for Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage, had flown a special lighting and camera equipment from Mumbai to can the crucial scenes in the movie. This equipment is sourced from Light and Sound company in Mumbai. Janatha Garage team is rushing in to its shoot as the release date, August 12th draws closer.
The team is planning to shoot remaining four songs in July. One of the song will be shot in Colombo. A romantic duet featuring NTR and Samantha will be shot in the lavish locales of Colombo. NTR is currently dubbing for his part in the film. The team plans to complete the entire shoot by the end of July so that there is enough time for the post production works.
The much awaited First Look Teaser is releasing on July 6th as Ramzan Special. Nandamuri fans have pinned high hopes on this film to make it big at the box office. The movie is a hot cake in trade and even with out closing the ROI business, it already amassed 61.8 Crore Pre-Release Business which is the highest in NTR’s Career till date
Dhruva Completes Kashmir Schedule
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Dhruva had completed its Kashmir schedule. The team had canned a duet song on Charan and Rakul along with some crucial scenes in the film. The next schedule of the film will begin in Hyderabad very soon. The movie is being planned for September 30th release as Dussehra Special.
Dhruva is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan being directed by Race Gurram fame Surender Reddy. Arvind Swamy who rocked the show in Thani Oruvan is reprising the same role in the remake project. Ram Charan is going all out Veggie diet for the film. This is a specially recommended Vegetarian diet to get in shape for his role in Dhruva.
The actor will be seen as a tough cop in the film and is training with Fitness experts with horse riding, strenuous weight training and cycling to get himself fit. This is the second film of Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh after their last film, Bruce Lee – The Fighter. Music directors duo – Hiphop Tamizha will making their Telugu debut with this film. Allu Aravind and NV Prasad are jointly producing the movie. PS Vinod will be cranking the camera after Aseem Mishra quit the project midway.
Balayya Keeps His Word To Krishna Vamsi
Looks like Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a mission. The actor, who is currently shooting for his much hyped 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni, has officially announced his next project. Speaking to the media in Hindupur today, Balayya revealed that his 101st film will be directed by Krishna Vamsi.
Balayya went on to reveal that the film has been titled Raithu. Incidentally, Krishna Vamsi first pitched Raithu’s script to Balayya for his 100th film and the senior star took a strong liking for the intense drama in the story. In Raithu, Balayya will be seen as a farmer who revolts for the welfare of farmers community.
However, with Krish sneaking in between Balayya and Krishna Vamsi with his story of the ancient Telugu ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni, Balayya, who immensely loved Krish’s epic, had to keep Vamsi in hold and promised him that he will surely do his project in the immediate future.
With today’s announcement, Balayya kept his promise to Krishna Vamsi. Gautamiputra Satakarni will be wrapped up by Dasara and even Krishna Vamsi will complete the shooting of Nakshatram starring Sundeep Kishan very soon. The two giants will then join forces post Dasara.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun couldn’t hold back his emotions when Chiranjeevi performed live at CineMAA Awards. If all goes well, former Indian Cricket captain and congress leader Mohd Azharuddin will be the next Telangana Congress President. Strong speculations during round in the party high command in New Delhi that AICC President Sonia Gandhi is very much disappointed over the Telangana Congress President N Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader K Jana Reddy who failed to stop the Congress leaders, MPs, MLAs and MLCs from shifting their loyalties to ruling TRS.
Out of 19 congress MLAs , only 12 have been left in the Congress. One among the two MPs elected from Telangana, Gutha Sukhender Reddy already joined TRS.Sources said that since all the existing leaders failed to strengthen the party after its debacle in 2014 election, Congress high command is seriously planning to rope in a charismatic figure who could counter KCR’s popularity. The party high command also considered veteran film star Vijayashanthi and fire brand DK Aruna for the TPCC Chief post. However, the party preferred to give the post to Azhar.
Azhar elected MP from Uttar Pradesh in 2009 election and in 2014 election he lost the election from Rajasthan. He was close confident of Rahul Gandhi. A decision on the replaces of the present TPCC leadership would be taken only after Rahul Gandhi returned India from his foreign tour.
