Another Family Hero Turning Villain
Family hero Jagapathi Babu has become most sought after character artist for negative roles in Telugu as well as Tamil films. Post the success of Legend, Jaggu Bhai was flooded with baddie roles, but he is selectively choosing films. Angry hero Rajasekhar is also turning villain with Macho hero Gopichand’s new film with Sriwass.
Now, another family hero is testing his luck as villain. Senior actor Srikanth who is not getting many offers as hero has accepted to do antagonist role in a Tamil film to be directed by a top director. More details about the project are awaited. This is indeed a great opportunity for Srikanth.
Srikanth was last seen as Allu Arjun’s uncle in the super hit movie Sarainodu. Although, the Mahatma star is doing character artist roles in the meantime, only Sarainodu was the successful film for him in recent times. Most of the recent films he played lead actor were also debacles.Actually, Srikanth started his career as a villain. Films like Taj Mahal, Pelli Sandadi, Vinodam etc made him a family hero. After seeing heights in career, Srikanth collapsed his career by picking wrong subjects. Let’s see whether Srikanth can pull off negative roles!
Nani To Join With Pawan, NTR
Natural Star Nani’s romantic thriller film Gentleman is going with super strong collections in Nizam and overseas, whereas it is doing decent business in other zones. The movie has crossed half million mark in USA, while it raked Rs 2.45 crores in Nizam. As per trade reports, Gentleman minted around Rs 9 crores worldwide in its first weekend.
Nani has good craze in urban centers and this is the major reason for Gentleman amassing good shares from Hyderabad and few other cities. Nani already has two million dollar films to his credit with Eega and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. His last movie Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha USA business ended at $ 0.770 Million.
Gentleman has high chances to enter million dollar club. So, if this happens, Nani will have three million grosser movies in the USA. Mahesh Babu leads with 6 films, wherein Pawan Kalyan and NTR has 3 million dollar grossing films each. No other hero has achieved the feat and Nani who is still a medium range hero is proving to be precious in overseas.Gentleman received mostly positive reviews from the critics, with praises directed towards the performances and the scripting. Directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti, the film Gentleman stars Niveda Thomas and Surabhi in female lead role.
Samsung Galaxy S8 release date, specifications: iPhone 7 camera expected in Galaxy S7 successor
‘It may be just over three months since the Galaxy S7 was released but talks about its successor dubbed as the Galaxy S8 have already started doing the rounds. The 2017 flagship device is expected to have a feature similar to arch rival Apple’s upcoming iPhone 7 Plus, which is likely to be released in the third quarter of this year.The South Korean electronics giant, which is currently preparing for the launch of its Galaxy Note 7 aka Note 6, is expected to release the Galaxy S8 in the first quarter of 2017. The next-generation handset may come in March as its predecessor, the Galaxy S7 will complete a year-long cycle in the market by this time.
The Galaxy S8 will have a dual camera and Samsung Motors (Semco) is likely to make the lens modules, reported WCCFTech (via GSMArena), citing a Chinese source. Interestingly, Chris Chang of Nomura Securities (via Barron’s) has claimed that all 5.5-inch iPhone 7 models will mount a dual camera, joining the likes of the Huawei P9 and HTC One with such camera feature. It is also reported that the Galaxy S8 will have a 4K UHD display, much superior to its predecessors and competitors. The Korean Herald (via PocketNow) has reported citing research firm UBI that the 2017 flagship device will have a 4K display with 806 ppi pixel density compared to 1,440×2,560 pixels (577 ppi pixel density) seen in the Galaxy S7.
“Samsung Display showcased a 5.5 ultra-high definition 4K display with a pixel density of 806 ppi for virtual reality devices at the Society for Information Display, a display trade show, in California in March,” an official of UBI Research told the Korean daily.
iPhone 7 release date, specifications: Apple to introduce dual SIM tray, 256GB storage and keep 3.5mm jack
It has been an on-and-off situation for rumours regarding the upcoming iPhone 7. Whether Apple’s new flagship will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack or not, has created quite a buzz in the tech world. After numerous rumours suggesting that Apple will finally let go of the standard headphone jack, new rumours are hinting otherwise.
According to Engadget, via a Chinese repair shop Rock Fix on Weibo, new images of the alleged iPhone 7 parts have been leaked online hinting at the possible specifications. One image shows a 4.7-inch iPhone 7’s Lightning cable assembly, which indicates the 3.5mm headphone jack is intact. While it seemed too odd to imagine an iPhone without the headphone jack, LeEco’s introduction of jack-less Le Max 2 and Le 2 smartphones makes the design more realistic. Apple could use its Lightning port to connect its headphones, like LeEco does with USB Type-C port.
Other photos leaked by the Chinese source show dual-SIM trays, which will be the first for Apple in the iPhone history, a SanDisk memory chip offering up to 256GB storage option and a dual-lens camera for the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 variant. The tipster also told Engadget that Apple won’t get rid of the antenna bands at the back of the phone, but said there will be some changes to their design.
A slight change in the iPhone 7’s design has been reported in the past. The antenna bands are likely to be moved along the top and bottom panels, keeping the rear panel plain. Also, the introduction of the 256GB storage option adds more validity to the previous rumours about Apple’s plans to ditch the 16GB variant and offer options of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB for its upcoming iPhones.
Other leak suggested that Apple would introduce a new deep blue colour for its iPhone 7 and dump the current space grey option. The Cupertino-based tech titan is also expected to introduce wireless charging support, dust and water-proof design, upgraded camera, speakers, chipset and battery into the iPhone 7 series.However, nothing will be official until Apple launches the new iPhone series, which is expected to happen in September this year.
Revanth Offers Rs 25 To KCR’s Farm Land
In a strident attack, TDP Telangana unit’s President A Revanth Reddy has offered Rs 25 crore to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s farm land at his farmhouse in Erravelli in Medak district. KCR owns nearly 70 acres of land in his native district, where he adopted new technology in cultivation of the land. He also established poly houses growing vegetables, exotic fruits and flowers.
Revanth said, “will KCR sell his land at Rs 25 crore and give the land to people? The CM must have known the value of agriculture land. Why is the government forcefully acquiring fertile land from farmers for Mallanna Sagar project in his own district? The farming community will lose their livelihood if their lands are occupied.”
The TDP leader also said he would stage a dharna in Mallanna Sagar in support of the farmers soon.

Mindless bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh led to many problems. This resulted in war of words and fist fights between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. CMs of both sides Chandra Babu and KCR have taken developing of the states as prestige issue and this resulted in various ego clashes.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are fighting over assets allocations and now Union Government decided to step in and resolve the issue acting as a Umpire. Now it is comingout that Centre summoned officials of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to Delhi on June 21st to find some solution on the bifurcation of the institutions.
Buzz is Centre is planning to constitute a committee for bifurcation and this is opposed tooth and nail by Telangana. Union Home Ministry’s decision assumes significance as it is the first after the Supreme Court ruled in the AP State Council of Higher Education case in March that the assets and liabilities of institutions listed in Schedule X should be shared 52:48 on the basis of the population of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Most of the institutions are located in Hyderabad and the council is one of the 107 Schedule X institutions. Secretaries of the State Reorganisation Cell and resident commissioners of both T and AP are invited for the meeting by the home ministry. AP is represented by senior IAS officer, L. Premchandra Reddy while Telangana is represented by S. Ramakrishna Rao.
