Ever since the first show of Trivikram Srinivas’ latest hit A..Aa kicked off, there have been several allegations that Trivikram lifted the film’s plotline from popular yesteryear novel Meena written by celebrated women writer Yaddanapudi Sulochanarani.

Most critics and literature lovers are well acquainted with Meena as the novel was later adapted into a feature film with the same title starring Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala. What irked these trolls and critics with A..Aa was that Trivikram didn’t mention anywhere in the credits that his film was inspired from Meena.

However, die-hard Trivikram fans defend their ‘Guruji’ saying that Trivikram had already bought the novel’s adaptation rights almost 10 years ago and that he would not need to credit the original writer in his film.

On the other hand, the situation is quite different in Hollywood and Bollywood where novels or any fictitious literature once adapted onto the silver screen are given due credit including their authors for their original work. Had Trivikram done the same, critics would have certainly calmed down.

No one expects a logic from Housefull franchise, but the latest one looks like the dumbest of all. Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) , a rich businessman of Indian origin in London does not want his three daughters to get married at all, thanks to the curse of failed marriages in family history.

The three daughters Ganga (Jacqueline Fernandez), Jamuna (Nargis Fakhri) and Saraswati (Lisa Haydon) already fell in love with three wastrels Teddy (Ritesh Deshmukh) a car racer, Bunty (Jr Bachchan) and Sandy (Akshay Kumar) a footballer. These three manage to get in the mansion of Batuk as blind, mute and crippled, but have to interchange their disabilities due to one Don Urja Nagare (Jackie Shroff) as Batuk owes him a good sum of Rs 5000 crores.

Directed by the duo Sajid – Farhad, it is the toughest part to find any comedy that brings the house down. The three heroines go for true translations of English words like Hanging out comes as ‘latakte hain’ and so on. That is not all the forced comedy, but there is a lot coming from Ritesh (Teddy) who gets confused with rhyming words finally resulting in double entendre.

Akshay Kumar tries to entertain with his split personality and is better than the rest and Abhishek Bachchan falls flat once again. Every member of acting cast get the best share in disappointing audience and Jackie shroff gets a little less in that. He looked and did better with gun in hand and blade in mouth.

Though there are few scenes where the directors could bring out good comedy, they failed miserably leaving the third part of Housefull much meaningless and half baked.

Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage is already a hot cake in trade even before the release of its first look teaser. The movie is looking at career best pre-release business of the actor. The latest is that the Karnataka Rights of the movie were picked up by Janardhan Reddy of Bengaluru for a whopping 7.02 Crore. This is the highest rate ever for any NTR film in Karnataka.

The movie also has to better NTR’s career best here at least for a break-even. His last film, Nannaku Prematho collected 6 Crore Share there. The team recently finished a minor schedule in Chennai. And a new schedule of the film began in Shamshabad on Friday itself. NTR joined the team this morning. They will shoot there for today and tomorrow.

And from Monday, the song shoot will begin in Annapurna Studios. The makers have erected three sets in the supervision of AS Prakash, the Art director. Sekhar Master will be choreographing this song. he recently released first look posters have set the expectations soaring. The First Look Teaser of the film will release very soon.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan who is postponing his entry in to Dhruva movie shoot for various reasons, has finally joined the shoot today. Some important scenes will be canned in and around Gachibowli for a week. Later, the unit will move to Kashmir to shoot a romantic duet between the lead pair.

The movie which was earlier planned for August release, is now being planned for Dussehra release. Ram Charan is rigorously training for his role. The actor will be seen as a tough cop in the film and is training with Fittness experts with horse riding, strenuous weight training and cycling. Dhruva is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan.

Race Gurram fame Surrender Reddy is wielding megaphone for this film which will have Rakul Preet Singh romancing Ram Charan. Music directors duo – Hiphop Tamizha will making their Telugu debut with this film. Arvind Swamy who impressed every one as antagonist in the film, is reprising his role from the original.
