Damning ‘Trump University’ documents intensify poll battle
Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton pounced on the news to argue that Mr. Trump is “trying to scam America.”The most damning revelations came from former staffers of the profit-driven operation that was launched in 2004 and closed in 2010, triggering lawsuits that may well see the presumptive Republican presidential nominee dragged to court.
Former employees’ arguments
“While Trump University claimed it wanted to help consumers make money in real estate, in fact Trump University was only interested in selling every person the most expensive seminars they possibly could,” former Trump University staffer Ronald Schnackenberg wrote in a statement unsealed on Tuesday.The business offered several courses in entrepreneurship, under the famous Trump brand.
But Mr. Schnackenberg described how he quit his sales manager job in 2007 after coming to believe that “Trump University was engaging in misleading, fraudulent and dishonest conduct,” echoing arguments laid out by plaintiffs who are former “students” who claim they were scammed.Another former employee, Jason Nicholas, acknowledged that the seminars were taught by “unqualified people posing as Donald Trump’s ‘right-hand men.'”
Mr. Nicholas said those staffers “were teaching methods that were unethical, and they had had little to no experience flipping properties or doing real estate deals.””It was a facade, a total lie,” he testified.
The court also unsealed internal company manuals, called “playbooks,” detailing sales techniques for steering prospective students to the most expensive courses and programs, which ran as high as $35,000 for supposedly revealing Mr. Trump’s wealth-generating secrets.”Let them know that you’ve found an answer to their problems and a way for them to change their lifestyle,” read the playbook, which even suggested the best chair arrangements and specified the ideal room temperature for luring customers.
“Retention starts here,” the manual added. “Be sure to congratulate the buyer, shake hands, and make eye contact,” it explained, telling the marketers that they are “not doing any favour by letting someone use lack of money as an excuse” not to sign up.Mr. Trump’s spokeswoman told AFP that the newly released documents have “no bearing on the merits of Trump University’s case.”They instead demonstrate “the high level of satisfaction from students” who participated.’Trying to scam America’
The class action suit and fresh release of documents come as the 2016 presidential race shapes up to be a contest between Mr. Trump and his likely Democratic opponent, Ms. Clinton.”His own employees testified that Trump U — you can’t make this up — that Trump U was a fraudulent scheme where Donald Trump enriched himself at the expense of hard-working people,” Ms. Clinton told supporters at a rally in Newark, New Jersey.She noted that the marketers encouraged potential customers to “max out their credit cards, empty their retirement savings [and] destroy their financial futures.”
“This is just more evidence that Donald Trump himself is a fraud,” Ms. Clinton said. “He is trying to scam America.”In a tweet late Wednesday, Ms. Clinton said: “Trump University students entrusted Trump with their futures, and he scammed them. He’d do the same to our country.”Mr. Trump has steadfastly defended the operation, claiming that thousands of students gave his courses and instructors “rave reviews.”
Did Chandra Babu take correct decision?
Many are wondering whether AP CM Chandra Babu has taken a correct decision.Father of Indian Constitution, BR.Ambedkar himself wouldn’t have imagined how dangerous his reservations proposal turnout to be in future. Even then with foresight he recommended reservations only for ten years and also warned that if not there will be dangerous consequences.
Seems already danger signals are coming from across the country. Patels in North India and Kapus in South India are agitating for reservations. In the midst of all this Chandra Babu in Mahanadu promised reservations for poor in upper caste. Though his intentions are good but with reservations mantra from politicians all and sundry will demand for the same. Some people are angry that political parties instead of trying to reduce reservations are increasing reservations.
Various caste leaders are creating a atmosphere where in future those opposed for reservation will start protesting vehemently.There is need for everyone to oppose reservations except for economically backward people.

At the time when the Andhra Pradesh government is all set for a shift of administration from Hyderabad city to Amaravati, many All India Services’ Officials are planning to escape this shift by seeking central postings.IAS officers are not at all interested in going to Amaravati and in this regard they have reportedly applied for no-objection certificates from Andhra Pradesh government for leaving the state. They have been citing career and personal reasons for dashing off to Delhi.
Babus who are otherwise expected to be role models are now themselves worried about working soon in Amaravati, as they and their families cannot think of losing the comfort of city. This is being seen as a huge disappointment for the state government.
They are lamenting that there is a shortage of food and social life at Amaravati and there are no proper offices or quarters. Moreover, with regards to children’s education and healthcare, they feel it is bothering them very much!
KCR spent a fortune on Telangana Formation Day :: Too Much Ads ?
It has been two years since the new state of Telangana is formed and celebrations are all over the state. The whole state is enjoying the second Anniversary and the city of Pearls is filled with lights. Government of Telangana is spending a bomb on the publicity.
As per inside reports, the Government has spent around 30 Crores for celebrations and 50 Crores for ads and other publicity. TRS Government publicizes its achievements through these ads. Definitely KCR has more credits to his name than failures, but spending too much to show it is not a good thing.
KCR has already shown his dominance in all the elections. KCR and TRS are in good books of people. State of Telangana was crumbling with no power and financial crisis. KCR smartly handled those issues. Also lots of schemes were done in these two years to benefit people.KCR was even chosen as Most popular Chief Minister in public voting. So these ads are unnecessary as people already knew those stuff. Instead they can be spent in some other welfare scheme.
Kabali Getting Bigger Than Baahubali
Superstar Rajinikanth used to shake the box office with his films and even his Robo was a huge blokcbuster. His films like Kochadaiyaan and Lingaa left distibutors in huge losses and the superstar too had to face the criticism for not compensating them. But the tables are turned and the don is back at business.
Superstar’s latest outing Kabali is registering much big digits than usual and the pre release business has touched 200 Cr already. The movie is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam worldwide and it is on its way to become the first film with such huge pre-release business in India, which also means that Kabali is getting bigger than Baahubali.
The music of Kabali will be launched in Telugu and Tamil on 9th of this month and release is planned on 1st of July worldwide. Distributors pinned a lot of expectations and what Kabali really can do will be seen on opening day.
Venkaiah Protected Jagan From Babu?
The nominations window for the Rajya Sabha elections is now complete and it has been more or less confirmed that TDP will not be fielding a fourth candidate. With this, three candidates of TDP, which includes one seat for BJP and one candidate of YSR Congress will be formally elected.This will be done unanimously if all of their nomination papers are fine. The suspense regarding a fourth candidate had been going on until the last minute.
Sources say that Naidu was not interested but finally he was okay if things started positively.YSR Congress easily panicked and started Camp politics to ensure that they don’t lose the seat. TDP made Jagan run from pillar to post, while happily enjoying their tension. But at the end of the day, the YSRCP candidate Vijaya Sai Reddy is now more or less a relieved man.
Sources say that it was the senior BJP man Venkaiah Naidu who warned of Uttarakhand style crisis of disqualifications and also possible elections for the MLA seats if TDP tries this. Babu finally relented and confined to Sujana Chowdary, TG Venkatesh and Suresh Prabhu.
Trivikram’s condition to Pawan Kalyan
Trivikram Srinivas’ latest offering, A..Aa starring Nithin and Samantha released today across the globe. Haarika and Haasine Production house had bankrolled the project. This is their fourth film with Trivikram Srinivas after Julayi, S/O Satyamurthy and A..Aa. The Producers at Haarika and Haasine are good friends of Trivikram.
The ace director has utmost comfort levels working with them and almost treats them as his Home Production House. Trivikram will be directing Powerstar Pawan Kalyan later this year. Trivikram is reluctant to work with outside producers and proposed Haarika and Haasine Banner to Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan will have to wrap up the shooting of his next with SJ Suryah and start this project. It is expected to begin from November or December. Trivikram Srinivas reportedly had a subject ready for Pawan Kalyan and will be working on the bound script for the film after he is done with A..Aa promotions.
A..Aa Movie Review – 3.25/5
Story:
Mahalakshmi (Nadiya) is a Hyderabad based successful industrialist, who dominates and dictates about every thing to her husband Ramalingam (Naresh) and daughter Anasuya (Samantha). Fed up with her domination, Anasuya attempts suicide but gets saved luckily. Her father sends her to Kalavapudi where her maternal uncle lives.
Samantha rediscovers life in the village and in the company of her bava Anand Vihari (Nithin). And then in the same village, there are Pallam Venkanna (Rao Ramesh) and his son (Ajay) and daughter Nagavalli (Anupama Parameswaran). What happens next in the story and their lives forms the rest.
Performances:
As evident from the movie promotions, Samantha is the show stealer in the film. Trivikram imposed lot of faith in her and etched her role with lot of conviction and Samantha did perfect just for the role. At the end when we try to imagine any other heroine in her place, we would not find any one even closer to her. Costumes, makeup and physique also complimented well.
Nithin is fine as an innocent young lad and this is his best chance to strike a chord with family audience. Anupama Parameswaran gets a bad debut. Her makeup looked odd and she is very uncomfortable. Rao Ramesh excelled in the soft villany role as in the case of all Trivikram films. Naresh, Nadiya, Srinivasa Reddy, Ajay, Ananya (as Nitin’s sister Bhanu) have done justice to their roles.
Technical Performances:
Coming to the story first, A..Aa is almost a rehash of Bommarillu with mother-daughter relationship replacing father-son relation in Bommarillu. Trivikram masked it with ‘family values’ and ‘village backdrop’. The screenplay is very much straight with out any confusion. What is disappointing is that Trivikram is still struggling to discover the old Trivikram in comedy and punch dialogues. On a flipside, the second half is stuffed with too many routine scenes which makes you feel the lag. However he made it up with a very good climax.
Songs are good plus for the film. All of them are shot well and come at right time. Mickey J.Meyer does a good job with the music as well as the background score. Cinematographer Natarajan Subramaniam did very well to capture the colourful village landscapes and it helped the film big time. Editing is decent and Production Values are good.

Final Say:
Despite its flaws, A..Aa is a decent family entertainer with good things spread all over. At the end of the film, you will feel like coming out with a positive feel. The movie is a perfect recipe for A center and Overseas audience. Try it this weekend!
Sai Dharam Tej turns Jawan
Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej recently completed a hat-trick success with his Supreme. His last three films – Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subrahmanyam for Sale and Supreme are hits and interestingly the magnitude of success is going on increasing. Sai Dharam Tej currently is busy wrapping up his other film, Thikka.
Besides Thikka, Sai Dharam Tej have two other commitments – One with Gopichand Malineni and the other with BVS Ravi. It is emerging that the film with BVS Ravi is tentatively titled ‘Jawan’. It is easy to guess Sai Dharam Tej will be playing an army man in the film. Recently the other Mega hero, Varun Tej also appeared as a Jawan in Kanche.
BVS Ravi is associated in the writing department of several films. He turned in to a director with Gopichand’s Wanted which released few years ago, but the film bombed miserably at the box office. And now, this chance with Sai Dharam Tej comes as a lifeline to him to resurrect his failed career.
