Time for NTR to Clock Records!
No doubt, NTR is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema with good dialogue delivery, command on Telugu language and its diction, pretty-adorable dance moves, acting prowess. Yet all he is lacking is one good Box-Office record. From Pawan Kalyan to Mahesh Babu to Ram Charan to Allu Arjun to Prabhas, each star has rung records one after the other. Records have been eluding Tarak for time being.
As he bounced back with his previous film Nannaku Prematho, now the who’s who of T-town is waiting to see NTR to clock in new records. Given that he collaborated with Koratala Siva after two big hits like Srimanthudu, Mirchi, it’s buzzed that Janatha Garage could be good chance for NTR to set eye-opening records.
Of late, Telugu cinema industry is growing big and expanding its base. Films like Magadheera, Attarintiki Daredi, Baahubali, Srimanthudu and Sarainodu have done something unexpected to those times when they were released. Now the ball is in Tarak’s court. It’s high-time, NTR should shatter previous records and set new records.
Free Publicity For Oka Manasu
The audio launch of Oka Manasu turned out to be a huge blessing in disguise for the film itself. The entire mega clan was present at the event and made it a huge success.
What was even more interesting that Bunny’s controversial speech about Pawan fans made the proceedings even more spicy. In all this chaos the unit of Oka Manasu have benefited big time.
The function created a good buzz for the film and all those who didn’t even knew about this small project are well aware, thanks to Allu Arjun’s speech.This film has received free publicity and will surely be in the news for days to come and even supra singly get good openings too.
Threat for ‘Brahmotsavam’
The stage is all set for a grand release of Mahesh babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ on 20th May. The makers conducted huge promotional events and the lead cast gave numerous interviews. The film is releasing in highest number of theatres and it is carrying a lot of expectations on it. But the film will face a huge threat.
Though the advance bookings were phenomenal across the Telugu states, ‘Brahmotsavam’ is going to have a tough time in coastal areas. From the past few days, heavy rains had struck these areas and reports reveal that it may continue at least 2-3 days. This may affect the collections of this film. Though the film may not face any hurdles on its Day 1, these rains may dampen the collections in those areas. Being a family entertainer, this rain may stop families from turning up to the theatres.
But, these rains cannot be an obstacle as long as the film gets a positive talk.
How Did He Become Mayor?
Recently, a complaint was lodged against a TDP corporator Ummadi Venkateswar Rao by a lady for misbehaving with her on a flight. And Vijayawada Mayor Koneru Sridhar has used shocking and digusting logic to defend the Corporator even before the investigation is over. Not only has revealed the name of the complainant, his allegations are unbecoming of a people’s representative.
What’s more, he made these statements to the media at the office of M P Kesineni Nani, which means that Nani endorses them. First of all, the Mayor revealed the woman’s name and said she was a resident of the US. “She organises comedy shows in the US and works for the protection of the environment,” said the Mayor.Does the dimwit know that he is actually eulogising her? And finally, here comes the real shocker:
The Mayor says the complaint is invalid because the lady is a member of LGBT community. This final comment is so outrageous that it merits no comment or criticism. Suffice to say that with people like Koneru, Kesineni, Ummadi and Nara at the helm and such anachronisitic mindsets, why will ‘call-money scams’ not occur? How can there be any respect and safety for women, with such retrograde personalities in power?
‘Respect’ Fight Between Babu Fans and KCR Fans
Nobody can disagree that little more than half of the stuff we get to see on social media is mere worthless and at times ridiculous. One of its kind, a ‘respect’ fight is brought up to debate and it is all about Narendra Modi disrespecting Chandrababu Naidu and giving the respectable suffixes to Telangana CM KCR. Most recently, two states CMs were called upon by PM Narendra Modi to convey their concerns on drought and the tweets of Modi suddenly turned the prime concern of social media enthusiasts of both states.
Modi tweeted on May 10 about meeting KCR and he mentioned ‘garu’ while mentioning the latter’s name, while the ‘garu’ was missing when he tweeted about meeting Chandrababu Naidu on the same invite. Some netizens are trying to pull great analysis out of nothing, saying that Modi is giving all the prominence to Telangana CM and is forgetting to give a minimum respect to a CM from party in their political alliance.
Well, speaking facts, Chandrababu Naidu uses Twitter account and hence Modi tagged him with that, while KCR does not use one, he has to write his name and obviously ‘garu’ in the end. It can be easily understood once anyone who throws a glance at those tweets and this need not be a topic to fight on. Seriously, if Narendra Modi wants to ignore and disrespect Chandrababu Naidu, it would not be through tweets!! We have many other serious issues to worry about and we better talk on it folks!
Star Hero’s Daughter To Get Married Soon
Everyone knows that Anil Kapoor has three kids and two out of them are daughters. One is Sonam Kapoor who is already hitting 30 and has just started seeing good stardom.Next is line is Rhea Kapoor who is a producer and she is the one who is in news now. Bollywood gossips reveal that she is all set to tie the knot this December.
Rhea was already seeing her long time boyfriend but did not take interest in marriage.It seems Anil Kapoor tried hard to convince both his daughters to get married but Sonam escaped citing her film career. Seeing her dad’s pain, Rhea finally said yes to the wedding.
Already talks from both the families have been completed and the wedding will be done in Mumbai and the reception in Delhi.
Yesteryear Heroine Wants Mahesh Babu
Yesteryear actress Meena is planning to foray into production. What’s more, she wants to make high-budgeted entertainers with star heroes who have excellent market in own region and at least decent business value in their neighboring state.It is learnt that, Meena is hoping to make films with Mahesh Babu, Kamal Haasan and few other superstars from Telugu and Tamil cinema. The big question is can Meena get Mahesh Babu’s call sheets in near future, since the Srimanthudu star has already committed to several projects?
Mahesh Babu who is waiting for the release of Srikanth Addala directed Brahmotsavam hitting the screen today will soon join hands with AR Murugadoss for a Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie. Star directors like Trivikram Srinivas, Puri Jagannadh etc are in queue to make films with Mahesh Babu. Can Meena convince any of these directors or Mahesh Babu to sign a film under her production house?
Meanwhile, Meena is in cloud nine with the response for her daughter Naninika’s performance in the young kid’s debut movie Police (Theri in Tamil) a Vijay starrer.
Vytla first, Kammula next?
Even 5 months after releasing ‘Loafer’, Varun Tej is yet to kick-start his new project. Though he signed a film with Srinu Vytla titled as ‘Mister’, the film is yet to go on floors. Latest reports say that Varun is interested in starting another film now.
We already knew that Shekar Kammula narrated a script to Varun Tej. This Mega hero was impressed by his script and is reportedly thinking of sidelining ‘Mister’ and starting Kammula’s film first. The film will be produced by Dil Raju. Kammula’s films are usually soft in nature and Varun Tej too tried to be versatile from the beginning of his career.
But there is another talk that as Vytla’s film is planning a foreign shoot first, it is taking time. Inspite of this, Varun Tej will first work on Sreenu Vytla’s project and then move on to Shekar Kammula’s film. We need to wait and see for further updates.
