He never tried to take a peek into non-masala-mass movies there after and yet again he reportedly turned down a story from passionate film maker Sekhar Kammula. Well, we need to ask nobody to know how classy film maker Sekhar Kammula is and Ram Charan showing no interest in his line is too obvious. But the talented director knocked another door in the same camp and got his film okayed, they say.

Sundeep Kishan is playing a lead role in Tamil movie Mayavan and for few scenes, he has been to deep sea on a boat. He reveals the adventurous experience of acting in a sequence of being held at gun point by coast guards and being pushed into waters for hours far away from shores.

Though the movie started its shoot in early 2014 with Naveen Chandra, unknown reasons delayed the project until Sundeep Kishan wanted to take it up. Lavanya Tripathi is playing the female lead.
