Wife of Actor Giri Babu and Mother of Raghu Babu, Ms.Sri Devi has took her last breath few minutes ago. Sridevi was suffering from some Kidney related trouble and she was undergoing treatment. But despite treatment, she took her last breath.

Her body is now being taken to her Hometown from Hyderabad. Sridevi and Giri Babu were survived by two sons and a daughter. Their eldest son Raghu Babu is a notable actor in Tollywood. Sridevi who passed away is 70 Years old.

Doctors report states that Sridevi is suffering from Kidney related ailments for past three years. Her body will be taken to Ravinutalaku Prakasam district and final respects will be paid there. Telugu superstar Mohan Babu released his book titled “Best Dialogues” at a ceremony held at British Parliament in the presence of senior politicians and prominent Indian community leaders.The event was organised by Asian Lite, a prominent newspaper for the Indian community in Britain, as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations.

Mohan Babu, popularly known as the Dialogue King of Telugu cinema, was honoured with Pranam Award by the newspaper for his contribution to Indian cinema.Bob Blackman, Conservative MP from Harrow East and Virendra Sharma, Labour MP from Southall, jointly presented the award to the 66-year-old actor.

In the past Lord Meghnad Desai, Baroness Shreela Flather, Sanskrit scholar Nanda Kumara, entrepreneur T Ramachandran, Philanthropist Rami Ranger, rights activist Zerbanoo Gifford and BBC former sports editor Mihir Bose have been felicitated with the honour.The “Best Dialogues” contains the southern star’s popular dialogues from hit movies in his four decade long career.

The actor, who has been a part of more than five hundered feature films as the lead actor, was accompanied by his wife Nirmala, sons Manchu Vishnu, Manchu Manoj and daughter Manchu Lakshmi.Representatives from various Telugu and Indian organisations were also present at the occasion. (PTI)

This is sad situation for comedian Venu Madhav. The actor going to police stations to news channels to ministers to prove that he is not unhealthy.For a long time there have been rumors that his health condition is not well. But the comedian says that he is perfectly alright.

He alleges that some vested interests are working against him and spreading malicious reports about his health condition. He lodged a case against couple of websites for writing news that he dead with illness.

“When I am alive, how can they write such news. This is crime. I won’t leave this matter,” he said after meeting Telangana minister Srinivasa Yadav.Venu Madhav had acted in 100’s of movies as comedian but recently he is not seen much in films.

Star brothers Suriya and Karthi have good fans frenzy in Telugu states. While Karthi’s last movie Oopiri (Thozha in Tamil) is a big hit, Suriya’s latest outing 24 directed by Vikram Kumar is turning out to be an above average grosser here.If a latest grapevine is to be believed, Karthi will essay a cameo role in his elder brother Suriya’s new movie Singham 3. As per the buzz, Karthi will be seen in two scenes and a song in the Hari directorial.

So, for the first time, Suriya and Karthi are going to appear together in a film, although Karthi lent his voice for the character of one of the twins in Suriya’s previous film Brothers.It may be mentioned here that, Vikram Kumar was asked to remake Manam in Tamil with Sivakumar, Suriya and Karthi portraying the roles essayed in Telugu by ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya respectively. Nevertheless, Vikram convinced Suriya for 24.

Oopiri is first straight Telugu film for Karthi, wherein Suriya is still looking for right script and director to make Tollywood debut.Meanwhile, Singham is fast progressing with its shoot. The mass action entertainer is scheduled to release in November. Karthi’s cameo will definitely a big asset for the film.
