At the age of 55, Nandamuri Balakrishna is shooting 11 hours a day and standing as an example for his peers. Balayya is actively participating in the shoot of historic epic Gautamiputra Satakarni and working rigorously as director Krish planned intense war episodes a la Hollywood films.

Already, Hollywood fighters have been roped in for the action scenes being shot in Morocco. Krish is crafting each scene meticulously and not leaving no stone turned up. Hence it’s taking a lot of time. It’s buzzed that the single war episode is costing as high as Rs 8 Crore. Krish has allotted a 3-week-long schedule for the total episode.

With Balayya working all the day, co-stars, the unit crew are getting inspired from the Legend actor and toiling in tandem. The unit people are watching Balayya in awe as how the star managing to work so hard at this age. One can’t stop raving about Balayya’s commitment, dedication.

Sultry siren Shruti Haasan is multi-talented actress. Apart from an actor, she is a model, singer, musician, good dancer and also a lyric writer penned for few of her own music albums. She even had her own band called Shruti and the Extramentals, before entering films. Recently, the damsel released a special song on Women’s Day, dedicating it to woman’s power to dream and her never-say-die attitude to achieve it.

Now, Shruti Haasan is teaming up with a British alternative rock band Dinosaur Pile-Up for her next music album. Apart from singing with the band, she will also co-write lyrics for the new album. During her recent visits to London, Shruti Haasan met the band Dinosaur Pile-Up -lead singer and guitarist Matt Bigland, drummer Mike Sheils and bassist Jim Cratchley -through a common friend and decided to collaborate with them for a brand new music album. Shruti is still in London, and will be recording soon.

On the film front, Shruti Haasan is presently working simultaneously for Suriya starrer Singham 3 and Naga Chaitanya’s Premam. She is also considered for female lead role in Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s next film with SJ Suryah.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is gearing up for release on May 20th. Since the release date is not far away, the production unit is working hard to wrap up remaining works. Mahesh Babu has completed dubbing for his role and DTS works for the film begins today.

As per reliable sources, yesteryear composer Mani Sharma who was roped into score background music for Brahmotsavam is opted out of the movie owing to unknown reasons. Mickey J Meyer who has rendered songs for the film is working on re-recording too. Ace composer Gopi Sundar who has worked for PVP Cinemas previous film Oopiri is said to be working on BGM for a key episode in Brahmotsavam.

Mani Sharma had provided rocking albums for Mahesh Babu earlier and the former worked on background score for the latter’s previous film SVSC. More than his captivating songs composition, Mani Sharma gained fame for his tremendous work on re-recording. Unfortunately, Mani Sharma missed out to work for Brahmotsavam. However, Gopi Sundar’s additional RR for Brahmotsavam will be a biggest boon for the flick.

Wedding bells are ringing at the house of actor Adarsh Balakrishna who shot to fame with Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days. Adarsh is all set to enter wedlock with Delhi-based girl Gulnar on May 28 in Hyderabad. An entrepreneur by profession, Gulnar and Adarsh had engagement in March. The duo first met in a friend’s wedding in Delhi last November and cupid struck between them in just four meetings.

Initially Adarsh tried his best to get her number but Gulnar refused to share it in the first meeting. Only after a lot of convincing, she shared the contact with Adarsh in the second meeting and there was no looking back as the duo started messaging each other non-stop.

After the two meetings, Adarsh got busy with shootings and started missing Gulnar. In Feb, in the third meeting, Adarsh met Gulnar parents. And who proposed first? It was Adarsh who proposed Gulnar by going on his knee and held her hand in filmy style.The wedding invitation was funky and Adarsh is going to throw a grand reception to who’s who of T-town. Interestingly, the wedding will also see people from political fraternity as Adarsh’s uncle (Peddananna) is none other than AP PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy.

Mahesh Babu announced the release date of “Brahmotsavam” on stage of its audio launch although the movie was still shooting. May 20th is the date has been locked. But the movie’s production work has still not been completed.Overseas distributors need the censor certificate and the content of the movie to be shipped to USA by 15th of May if the movie ought to be released in big way across all cities in North America with huge premiere shows.

Hence the team is now working hard to complete the entire production formalities by end of this week and break the pumpkin. Breaking the pumpkin is a tradition in Tollywood to say entire work has been completed.Currently ‘patch work’ and dubbing process is being completed at rapid pace.

Mahesh Babu is reportedly overseeing all the work personally. Not only that he has also given his dates to the promotion from May 14th and the production team has lined up TV interviews from this weekend.So everything will be wrapped up by this weekend.
