Multifaceted actress Manchu Lakshmi took some time after the success of her last movie Dongata that was produced under her home banner Manchu Entertainment. The starlet has finally signed a new movie to be directed by Karthikeya Gopalakrishna of Sadhyam and Vasool Raja fame.

Billed to be a thriller comedy, the film will go on floors from June. Thrillers are one of the best selling subjects at box office lately. So, following the trend, Lakshmi is also joining the thriller club with the yet to be titled flick that will be produced jointly by Maunika Chandrasekhar and Uma Lakshmi.

Manchu Lakshmi will be seen in a powerful role as a young judge who fights for justice in the movie that will have pooja ceremony on 20th of this month. Entire movie will be shot in Hyderabad in single schedule. The makers have said to announce details of other cast and crew members on the launching day.

This will be another challenging role for Manchu Lakshmi who thrilled audience by portraying different characters in her previous films.

The Cold War between fans of Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan has now taken a new turn. Pawan fans are still unhappy as Allu Arjun refused to say Pawan Kalyan’s name at ‘Sarrainodu’ success meet. Also Pawan Kalyan refrained from ‘Mega’ heroes functions.

During ‘Sarrainodu’ success meet, when fans screamed Pawan’s slogans and asked Allu Arjun to speak something about him, Bunny refused by saying ‘Cheppanu Brother!’. This shocked fans of Pawan and they were also upset with the attitude of Allu Arjun.

Hyderabad: Actor Venu Madhav on Tuesday lodged a complaint with Kushaiguda police alleging that some miscreants were spreading false information about his death on social media.Venu Madhav alleged that messages were being circulated by some miscreants on Whatsapp saying that he passed away.

Venu Madhav also alleged that the miscreants had been using his photograph containing the logo of a local news channel with the false message.”We have received the complaint and sent it for legal opinion,” Kushaiguda inspector N Venkata Ramana said.

Director Vikram K Kumar is in Hyderabad to promote his recent release, Suriya’s 24. On this occasion, Vikram revealed to media that the prequel to 24 is in the pipeline, The Prequel will cover Athreya and Shivakumar back story.

Vikram also added that he has two projects confirmed with Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu. Once he completes both the projects, he will shift to the prequel project. That means it will take a minimum of 2 years or more to see the prequel project.

Suriya is currently busy in the shooting of his next film, S3, the third installment in Singham series. 24 is a failure project in Tamil. The movie did very well in Telugu and even better than the Tamil version.The movie is holding up well in A centers in its second week.

The film is inching towards $1.5 Million dollars mark at US Box office thanks to the genre, positive reviews and Vikram Kumar. Even in Overseas, Telugu version is performing better than the the Tamil version.

Reports coming in from Mumbai reveal that A R Rahman was working on Aamir Khan’s upcoming project Secret Super Star from one year now. He had even composed some songs for the film but sadly, the project never took off.

He reportedly contacted Aamir and his team who ignored him as they were busy with Aamir’s next film Dangal. Left now with no choice, Rahman called the concerned authorities and left the film mid way. A different music director has now been roped in for the film which will be made by Aamir Khan’s personal manager.
