Story:
Vijay Manick (Taraka Ratna) is dreaded killer and has life threat from two unknown persons. One of those get killed and other escapes in when trying to attack Vijay. On a different track, there is Raja Ram (Nara Rohit), an aspiring director. A director approaches him through letters to write a climax for his upcoming film and later promises to give him a direction chance. But this friendship through letters, pan out to a ploy to make Raja a criminal to eliminate Vijay. What happens next in the story forms the rest.
Performances:
Nara Rohit once again disappoints with his chubby looks but some how even with the heavy personality, pulled out few steps in this film. Performance wise he is okay but have to work a lot on his dialogue delivery. Taraka Ratna makes a decent comeback as villain. The look and body language is good but somehow he did not appear menacing. Isha Talwar still did not look like a heroine material. Shivaji Raja makes a good comeback. Srinivas Avasarala’s cameo is impressive.
Technical Performances:
Director Pradeep should be commended for the subject he brought out. He made sure it is interesting with some good twists but he faltered very badly in the screenplay part which could not kep the audience glued. The forced commercial elements like love track, comedy are speed breakers. Bad editing and mediocre audio by Sai Karthik further killed the film. The camera work is also not up to the mark. Production Values are good.
Plus Points:
1. Casting
2. Twists
3. Good Subject
Minus Points:
1. Bad Screenplay
2. Forced love and humour
3. Poor Editing
4. Mediocre Music
Final Say:
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe is supposed to be a good thriller but is let down by some shoddy performances of the technical team. A little bit of extra care would have drove the film home but finally it ends up as a disappointment.
Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu has completed its First Week Run at the box office. The movie’s run had even surprised the box office experts. With the bad talk and reviews it garnered on the day-1, even one expected it to be a disaster. But the movie held on well and posted a good total.
The summer holidays effect and no competition at the box office helped the film immensely. The good run should continue even in the second week as there are no notable releases that may threaten the movie. The movie has to make 55 Crore Share in its full run to be a HIT venture.
