‘Chamber’ Doesn’t Want To Mess With Balayya
When two or three films release simultaneously, they naturally eat into each other’s market share thereby causing losses to one another. Therefore, the AP Film Chamber in a bid to protect buyers and producers is trying to come out with a set of guidelines according to which any film should submit a letter indicating its release date clearly and if it is unable to come on that date, there should be a gap of at least one week for its release.
Responding to this new experiment, the producers of ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Express Raja’ submitted letters to the Chamber in the same order.
Apparently, the producers of ‘Dictator’ gave the letter very late to the Chamber. A per the rules, ‘Dictator’ must be asked to release after the other three films. But the Chamber did no such thing as it was a Balayya movie. Why mess with him?
After Pawan, Trivikram Complains Against Prasad
After Pawan Kalyan has lodged complaint with the Movie Artistes’ Association, it’s turn of his close aide and director Trivikram Srinivas who filed complaint against Attarintiki Daredi producer BVSN Prasad. As per reports, Prasad owes Rs 2 Crore each to Pawan and Trivikram.
Since the movie Attarintiki Daredi released over two years ago and the movie turned out to be one of the biggest hits in the film industry, and producer Prasad hasn’t kept his commitment, Pawan and Trivikram said to have miffed and decided to move MAA.
Highly-placed sources close to Pawan corroborated that Pawan and Trivikram were dejected with what Prasad has did. This apparently led the duo to complaint against Prasad in MAA.
Meanwhile, the talk is that Mega Panchayati is going on about this. While Tarak fans are angry about the fresh controversy, Power Star fans too reportedly fuming on the producer of Nannaku Prematho. Let’s wait and see what’s going to happen in the next few hours.
Star Hero gifts girlfriend a car
Bollywood Bhaijaan, Salman Khan, is clearly not shying away from his relationship with Romanian beauty, Iulia Vantur as he has recently gifted her a brand new car.
Salman Khan has been dropping hints on how he’s getting closer to her and how close she is to her family. Vantur was seen at all the important events of the Khan Parivaar and looks like she is now a permanent member of the family as well.
According to reports, Bhaijaan gifted a grey colored four wheeler after his birthday celebrations. But we are not sure if she will be driving it around much because as it was reported earlier that Vantur preferred traveling in an auto to stay low and away from the media.
Sources also reveal that this gift was a special one which might show that Salman is pretty serious about her and wants the relationship to work despite the alleged rumors about Iulia not being comfortable with her beau’s closeness to Daisy Shah and Zarine Khan.Salman Khan is currently in Karjat shooting for his upcoming film Sultan.
Pawan Complains Against Attarinitiki Daredi Producer
Actor Pawan Kalyan has lodged complaint against Attarintiki Daredi producer BVSN Prasad to the Movie Artistes Association over his pending remuneration. Apparently, Bhogavalli Prasad hasn’t paid full remuneration to Pawan Kalyan yet although promised before.
According to reports, Prasad had promised Pawan that he’d pay the balance amount during the release of his next movie i.e Nannaku Prematho with Jr NTR. While Nannaku Prematho is all set for release on Jan 13 and Pawan didn’t receive balance Rs 2 Crore, Pawan said to have moved MAA.
During the release of Attarintiki Daredi, piracy fiasco unfolded as over 90 minutes of the film’s footage got leaked. Then reports were rife that film’s lead actors Pawan, Samantha and director Trivikram Srinivas had cut short their remuneration although there was no official confirmation from anyone of them. Since the movie later turned out to be one of the biggest hits in the film industry, producer not returning the amount said to have irked Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan usually goes soft on such monetary issues. But Pawan himself filing complaint against a producer definitely comes as a big surprise. Let’s wait and see what’s going to happen.
Express Raja is not releasing in Karnataka!
Getting into the Sankranthi race while three other biggies are in contention is affecting the prospects of Express Raja. This Sharwanand starrer is the low budget movie among the Sankranthi releases. Express Raja attracted buyers as it was produced by UV Creations that has a very good track record. However buyers didn’t expect Express Raja to compete with many big films.
Although UV Creations managed to get decent amount of screens in AP and Telangana, it is turning out to be extremely difficult to get theaters in other states. Express Raja is not releasing in Chennai as there are many Tamil releases along with the Telugu biggies. Even the buyer from Karnataka has backed out at the last minute, sources said.
The buyer agreed to pay 35 lakh rupees for Karnataka rights with so much buzz going around Express Raja. But the buyer didn’t expect the movie to compete with many big films. Competition is so high that Soggade Chinni Nayana’s Karnataka distribution rights were sold for just Rs. 30 lakhs.
Same buyer who made an agreement with Express Raja bagged SCN rights for cheap and he felt that 35 lakh for ER is very high in this scenario. So he said he will pay only Rs. 15 lakh for Karnataka rights to which the makers of Express Raja didn’t agree. As of now Express Raja is not releasing in Karnataka. It may have a delayed release depending upon its performance in Telugu states.
Confident Or Over-Confident?
KTR announced that he would resign from the State Cabinet if TRS fails to win majority seats and the Mayor’s post in the GHMC elections. He said that the TRS would win 100 seats, MIM would emerge as the second largest party and BJP would be placed third. According to him, the Congress would not even win 10 seats and challenged Uttam Kumar Reddy and Kishen Reddy on whether they would resign if their parties lost.
Once can’t help feeling dazed at these comments of KTR. It also indicates the confidence of the TRS in coming to power in Hyderabad, ironically a place where they have no strength. But is this confidence or over-confidence? There’s a thin line separating the two.
On the face of it, a TRS victory looks imminent. But for some unforeseen reason, if the TRS fails to make it, don’t expect KTR to resign. His father made similar such promises too in the past and reneged on them.
Jr. NTR Impressed with Sukumar dedication
Actor Jr. NTR, who has worked with several directors in his over a decade-long career, says nobody could match up with the dedication of Sukumar, with whom he has worked in the forthcoming Telugu drama “Nannaku Prematho”. Sukumar-directed “Naanaku Prematho” releases worldwide on Wednesday. “Sukumar is the kind of director you don’t want to criticize even if his film fails, because there’s so much genuine effort in his work. I’ve never seen a director with so much of dedication and commitment. He pushes you to give your best,” NTR told media.
Recalling how committed the director was on the sets, NTR said: “We shot for nearly two months in London. Sukumar must’ve barely slept for two hours a day throughout this schedule. We’d start shooting from 7.30 a.m. and finish the day by 8 p.m., after which he will discuss next day’s work with his assistant till 2 a.m.” NTR also revealed that he was originally supposed to team with up with Sukumar for another project.
“Sukumar was working on another script when his father passed away. He then narrated this story about how a son fulfils his father’s last wish. I was touched by the story. Unlike my regular commercial films, this one has a very strong emotional core,” he said. The film, which has music by Devi Sri Prasad, also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles.
Pawan Needs to Stay Away from GHMC Polls?
As of now, Power Star Pawan Kalyan has kept mum on the campaigning done in ‘Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’ (GHMC) elections. He is busy participating in the shoot of his on going movie ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ now.
Media, however, has started cooking up stories on Pawan Kalyan’s campaigning in GHMC elections. While some media speculates Pawan Kalyan would sure to campaign for his allied parties BJP and the TDP, other media envisaged Pawan Kalyan would skip for GHMC elections.
Political analysts, however, feel that it would be a sensible gesture from Pawan Kalyan staying silent at the moment pertaining to the strength of the TRS is concerned. The confident KTR has already challenged he would resign to his minister post if the TRS gets defeated in the election battle.
Although settlers may get influenced by Pawan Kalyan’s speeches, their votes might not affect the prospects of the TRS. On the other hand, Janasena’s activists feel that ‘Janasena’ could have shown its impact considerably, if the party gets contested in the elections. All in all, Pawan Kalyan is expected to stay away from election campaigning to avoid defeat.
TDP’s Mark in Kakinada Beach Festival
Until Megastar Chiranjeevi assumed charges as a minister of state for Tourism some years ago, Kakinada’s beach had got no development. However, Chiranjeevi, as a tourism minister, released crores of funds to get the beach park of Kakinada developed. Apart from Kakinada’s beach park, Chiranjeevi released funds for Eco Tourism Project at Coringa mangrove forest.
In the meanwhile, the TDP government organized ‘Beach Festival’ for three days in Kakinada recently. The government took the festival prestigious and released crores of rupees. Besides, it announced the Beach Festival as a state’s festival. However, the Beach Festival had been named as ‘NTR Beach Festival that is being criticized by the politicians.
They reportedly recollected the way the beach was developed during Chiranjeevi’s tenure as a tourism minister and wondered with the government’s attempts of owing the credit. Meanwhile, the three day Beach Festival went on success with the TDP’s trade mark of promotions and publicity.

I think, we all recognize that more can be done, including by Pakistan. But that does not mean that we would not keep working at it.” Meanwhile, John Kirby, spokesperson of the State Department, refused to comment whether the U.S received any feedback on investigations into the attack.
‘Condemnation encouraging’ “I don’t have any additional detail ….. we note and we’re encouraged by the fact that the Pakistani government condemned the attack and said that they would investigate. ….our expectation is that investigation will be thorough and complete and as transparent as possible. But in terms of its progress and where they are, you’d have to talk to Pakistani authorities on it,” Mr. Kirby said.

Producer of the film announced that they are tracking the details of those who are downloading Nenu Sailaja Piracy and are planning to impose a fine of 2 Lakhs through Indian laws. For the first time a producer in Telugu is taking an action on viewers than on those uploading Piracy.
The Producer says recently an Australian court allowed Dallas Movie Buyers Club to impose a fine of 5000-7000 Australian Dollars. He also reminded how Warner Brothers in Hollywood imposed 20$ fine on every one who watch their films in piracy.
Pawan Kalyan attempts to stop Nannaku Prematho!
Few hours ahead of the release of NTR’s Nannaku Prematho, Pawan Kalyan had lodged a complaint on the film producer, BVSN Prasad. He alleged the producer did not clear the pending dues of 2 Crore for Attarintiki Daredhi to him.
Pawan Kalyan reportedly asked MAA to make sure his dues are cleared before the release of Nannaku Prematho. MAA reportedly forwarded the issue to Producers Council to look in to it.
The makers of Nannaku Prematho informed the media that the issue will be settled and there will be no problem for Nannaku Prematho release. However it is really bad on the part of BVSN Prasad for not clearing the dues even after the movie becoming an industry hit.
