Young Yiger Ntr is very much interested in singing songs. He doesn’t want to restrict himself as a bathroom singer. Like a professional singer, every now and then, he lends his voice for songs and some of them proved to be chartbusters. His songs in ‘Yamadonda’, ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Rabhasa’ were received well by the music lovers.

And now Ntr is all set to become a singer in Sandal Wood. Buzz is that Ntr sang a song in Kannada for Puneeth Raj Kumar’s new movie ‘Chakravyuha’. Ntr’s close buddy SK Lohith is producing the movie. Ntr has sung the song to do favour to his friend. This song is expected to be one of the highlights of the movie.

Meanwhile, Ntr’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’s shoot is going to be wrapped up soon. The movie is being planned for release on January 13 as a Sankranthi gift to fans. Rakul Preet Singh pairs up with Ntr in this stylish action entertainer. Sukumar is directing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra owned by BVSN Prasad.

There has been enormous research gone into the styling of Junior Ntr look for ‘Nannaku Prematho.’ Never in the past, Tarak appeared so stylish as what we see in this flick. Thanks to Sukumar’s extreme hard work and this is the sole reason why ‘Nannaku Prematho’ has got lots of hype both on pre release business and audience range of expectations. Made on a very high budget with unrevealed story element, obviously Ntr is going to rock.

‘This is a radical step to go for a complete changeover my look. Along with me, entire team has done good research to set this styling. We have studied the current trends in hair style and beard cuts among youth public. To be much deeper, we have observed lots of Brazilian hair styles before fixing on this one.

I am so happy with the response and will reveal more details during the audio function,’ Ntr said in an interview. Anyways, ‘Nannaku Prematho’ is eyeing on January 14 release date as a real Pongal treat for Telugu audience.

An interesting scene happened today at the screening of “Bajirao Mastani” in popular Prasad Multiplex of Hyderabad. Along with her mom and personal assistants, Tamanna caught the 8.45am show of the film to fulfil her excitement.

Once noticing that Tamanna is present in the screening, people started flocking her during interval and asking her for selfies.

Very casually and gracefully, she denied the request and asked them to meet after screening. By the time screening got completed, milky siren rushed out through back door and she’s out of Prasad’s complex in a Jaguar car within minutes. That’s life of a heroine folks.

Nagarjuna Akkineni, who has a great love upon his father- late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, never misses a chance to showcase it publicly. Reminiscing his dad’s memories, Nag has done something unique and special. Nag has used his dad’s wrist watch in his upcoming film Soggade Chinni Nayana which ANR had bought in 1959.

This is not all. Also the dhoti’s (Pancha) clad by Nag in the film were of ANR which he had used in his old films. While this is considered as a great tribute by son Nag, already the stills and visuals featuring Nag in dhoti have got rave response.

Meanwhile, the much-talked about Bangarraju character, essayed by King Nagarjuna in the film is said to be inspired from the roles played by late Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Giving complete credit to ANR, Nag said that he’s a great fan of his dad’s roles against village backdrop.

Stating that the role Bangarraju gave him complete satisfaction, the 56-year-old star plays dual role as father and son in this film produced by his home banner Annapuran Studios. Directed by newcomer Kalyan Krishna, the film featuring Ramya Krishna, Lavanya Tripathi is expected to release for Sankranthi.

Mumbai: The government had offered the notedBollywood actor Rishi Kapoor the chairmanship of Central Board of Film Certification, but he declined it because he felt it was a thankless job, he claimed today. “It’s true (that I was offered the job). I think it’s a thankless job, and I don’t have the patience to watch so many films,” Kapoor told PTI.

Asked about his opinion on the current rules and regulations of the CBFC for clearing the films, Kapoor chose not to comment. Pahlaj Nihalani, the current chairman of CBFC, has drawn controversies because of his conservative approach, with the social media taking a dig at his “sanskari” policy. Kapoor was last seen in ‘All is Well’ alongside Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Bachchan and Asin. He will be seen next in Karan Johar’s home production ‘Kapoor & Sons’.

Mega heroes have huge fan base than any other in Tollywood. Irrespective of talk, mega films get phenomenal openings. Likewise, Varun Tej who is yet to deliver a commercial hit has disappointed mega fans once again with Loafer. The young mega hero has won hearts with his matured performance, but Puri’s poor work on writing and making is killing the movie chances at box office.

Loafer mostly got average to below average ratings and response from public was also negative. Despite these facts, the movie has got exceptional openings. Loafer minted around Rs 3.75 crores of shares on its first day in AP and TS. This is in fact, career best opening for Varun Tej.

Loafer collected a share of 50 Lakhs in Ceeded, 38 Lakhs in Uttarandhra, 38 Lakhs in Guntur, 36 Lakhs in East, 25 Lakhs in Krishna and 24 Lakhs in West Godavari. Day one estimation for Nizam area is around Rs 1.30 crores.

The figures hint that, Varun has good support from all mega groups. On the flip side, according to trade sources, Loafer day two collections are not up to the mark owing to many reasons. Negative mouth talk, release of other big ventures like Dilwale, Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale are prime reasons for weak shares on second day.

Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan who became familiar to Telugu spectators with his villainy acts in films like Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram and Ravi Teja’s Kick 2, has hurt his hand badly while shooting for hero Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film Supreme. A small accident occurred on sets.

To save a fighter, Ravi Kishan broke his left hand. Comedian Shaking Sheshu of Jabardasth TV show was also injured in the incident. Supreme film unit was canning an action scene in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Unfortunately, an accident happened on the sets.

The good-heart Ravi Kishan broke his bones, in order to save a fighter. He was immediately rushed to near by hospital. Post treatment he left to Mumbai. So, the shoot of the film has been called off for today.

Coming to Supreme, the film directed by Anil Ravipudi is biled to be a ful fledged mass masala film like the director’s maiden venture Pataas. Sai Dharam Tej is playing cop and Rashi Khanna will be seen as his love interest. Mega villain Ravi Kishan will be seen as main antagonist. The Dil Raju production venture is expected to release in summer.

So, far he directed 3 films- Arthanghi, Rajanna and Sri Krishna, out of which none gave him recognition. The veteran director is now coming up with his latest directorial Valli.

With effect of Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, there is good buzz on the project. Today, the makers have released Valli first look poster, where actress Neha Hinge is seen carrying moon, lifting it up from the sea.

Like how gorgeous the newbie Neha Hinge is appearing, the poster is equally stunning with perfect editing.In fact, the poster depicts various meanings for different age groups. Bringing in a mention of the Power Star somewhere in the film either through the dialogues or through some spoof has become common for most Tollywood producers. The idea is to draw the Pawan fans to the theaters. These days, spoofs on Pawan have become a norm.

In the last week, there were two movies – Loafer and Bengal Tiger. In both films there is a spoof on Pawan. What is interesting is both used the same song “looking in the face” from Pawan starrer Tammudu. In Bengal Tiger, the song is spoofed on Posani, while in Loafer, it is on comedian Ali.

In Loafer, Ali even does also those acrobats and Karate feats that Pawan does in Tammudu.A word of caution for Tollywood directors. Spoofing brings laughs. But, overdoing spoofs could turn counter productive.
