Milky Beauty Tamannah and Young Tiger NTR romanced each other in Oosaravelli. If the rumours in Filmnagar are to be believed, she will be shaking her booty for a Special song in the actor’s next, Nannaku Prematho. This is the only song that will be left out in Nannaku Prematho after the ongoing Spain schedule.

The rumour mills say that the Milky Beauty had demanded hefty pay cheque for this song. Tamannah Previously danced for an item number in Bellamkonda Srinivas’ debut film, Alludu Seenu. As a sentiment she is doing another such song in his second film as well. Plans are on to release Nannaku Prematho for Sankranthi-2016.

Post Production works of the Sukumar’s directorial, are going on simultaneously. Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu are playing important roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. BVSN Prasad is producing the film under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.

Superstar Mahesh Babu had headed to Ooty for a new schedule of his next, Brahmotsavam there. The team recently completed the third schedule of the film in RFC recently. The Ooty schedule will go on till this month end and several crucial scenes of the film will be canned there.

They have decided that the movie will be releasing on April 29th. The agreements with the distributors are being made accordingly with the same date. They are planning to complete the entire movie shoot by March.

Srikanth Addala who delivered a super hit to Mahesh with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is wielding megaphone for this film once again. Mumbai: Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who was at the forefront of slamming Aamir Khan’s views on intolerance in the country, says he’d love to work with the actor-producer, whom he has now called a “dear friend”. “I have great friends, including Aamir. I would like to believe that he is a very dear friend of mine,” Anupam said here at the launch of a Society magazine cover featuring him. Anupam had shared a series of tweets when Aamir’s statements on intolerance made headlines, and had expressed concern about the latter’s views. Justifying his action then, Anupam said he was informed about the controversy by his taxi driver who wanted to know if Aamir was right in saying that there is “growing despondence” in the nation. “That triggered it off.

It was a spontaneous reaction and I’ve stuck to it because there is nothing wrong (in what I said).“I just said that this is a great country, so as celebrities we have to say things which do not create fear in smaller places. I don’t want to raise a flag on the issue. If I was politically correct, I wouldn’t have said it. I don’t want to come across as a crusader who wants to talk about it everywhere. I have great love for Aamir, and for everybody,” shared Anupam. Surprisingly, Anupam and Aamir haven’t shared the frame since 1990, even though they were part of “Rang De Basanti”. When asked if they will work together, Anupam said: “I would love to. He’s a producer-director; he can cast me anytime. I would love to work with him. I’ve not worked with him for 25 years, I miss him.”

Couple of weeks ago, we have informed our readers that Senior distributer Dil Raju will be distributing Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator in the Nizam region. But now the senior distributor is out of the race for Nizam rights.

We are said that the makers and Dil Raju could not arrive at common ground regarding the price of the Nizam rights for the film and so Dil Raju dropped. Eros International will now release the film themselves there. Dictator business in both the Telugu states is almost complete.

Anjali is romancing Balayya in this film directed by Loukhyam fame Srivas. Popular writers Kona Venkat and Gopimohan are working for this film, their first time with Balayya.

Sudhir Babu’s latest offering, Bhale Manchi Roju’s Nizam rights were bagged by Dil Raju and the Guntur rights are bagged by Vamsi of UV Creations. Usually Dil Raju is considered as Golden hand for small films. Bhale Manchi Roju is all about a memorable day in the lead actor’s life.

The film revolves around what happens on that ill-fated day when he meets some weird characters and how things take a turn in the protagonist’s life.

Wamiqa Gabbi makes her Telugu debut with this film. Sudheer Babu’s close friends, Vijay and Shashi, produced this film under their 70mm Entertainments banner. A new comer Sriram Aditya is directing the film.

Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam is being canned in Vishakapatnam. The other day we have got a news that Regina Cassandra is brought in to the project in place of Aisha Sharma.

But the makers say it is not true and Aisha Sharma is still in consideration for the role. Majnu will be shot extensively in the exotic locales of Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Goa, Europe, Pollachi and Araku.

Anupama Parameshwaran is the other heroine in the film. Buzz is that Nagarjuna will be seen in a little cameo while Victory Venkatesh will play the hero’s father in the movie. More details of this project later. Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti is wielding megaphone for this remake venture.

Film critics and anti fans of Naga Chaitanya ridiculed his choice of doing the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Premam. Many pointed out that he cannot pull off the massy ‘college student’ character in the film. Nivin Pauly has set a very high benchmark by perfecting this character in the original. Naga Chaitanya took it as a challenge and believed that he could do justice to this film. He competed with many other heroes and producers to bag the Telugu remake rights of the movie.

Yet to be titled Premam remake started rolling few days ago. College episode involving Naga Chaitanya (student) and Shruti Haasan (junior lecturer) is being shot at the moment. Naga Chaitanya is looking superb in that bearded getup. He is strikingly charming in the getup and looks promising to pull it off. This should shut the mouths of his critics who raised doubts over his capabilities. Talented director Chandu Mondeti of Karthikeya fame is directing this remake.

Director Sampath Nandi dedicated himself for Gabbar Singh sequel for more than two years. He worked day and night on the screenplay and treatment and despite his hard work Sampath Nandi was asked to leave the project. Sampath was replaced by director Bobby for Gabbar Singh 2, but the former didn’t make hue and cry over it. Sampath Nandi was matured enough by taking it with a smile and moved on. He has immediately announced Bengal Tiger with Ravi Teja and finished it off even before Sardaar Gabbar Singh is done.Anybody would have sympathized with him as he spent more than two years on that film that too after scoring a big hit with Racha.

Still Sampath Nandi chose to remain silent and even today he is not making any comments against Pawan Kalyan. Sampath Nandi is not willing to say what went wrong but maintains that he still shares a very healthy relation with the Power Star. He says that his aim is to direct Pawan Kalyan and is readying a script for the same. Sampath Nandi is pretty confident about Bengal Tiger’s success and is getting ready to narrate a script to a big star shortly.

Yesteryear heroine Raasi has apparently requested director SS Rajamouli for Baahubali. And no, it’s not for any role. Raasi has apparently approached Rajamouli for the show of his recent blockbuster Baahubali. Going into details, Raasi asked Rajamouli for a special show for few orphan kids with whom she attached to.

There’s a heartrending story behind this as well. In a TV interview, Raasi herself revealed that she adopted an orphanage for a day on the occasion of her daughter’s 1st birthday. Every year of her daughter’s b’day Raasi will be offering good quality breakfast, lunch and dinner for the children.

As a surprise visit, when she went there and spend sometime with children recently, she got to know that the kids had not watched any movies in theatre till that date. Children made a wish to watch Baahubali movie in theatre.

And Raasi couldn’t say no and promised them to show the movie. But when she realised that the movie has gone out theatres by that time, Raasi approached Jakkanna and got a permission letter for show in Prasads labs. She took 100 orphan children for the show and fulfilled their dreams.

At times, philanthropy not only means a major contribution. Small small things like this too make a great difference. Well done, Raasi. You proved that your heart is in right place.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s yesteryear blockbuster Mutha Mesthri is buzzed to have a sequel. Naturally, Chiru’s scion and Ram Charan is being considered for the much anticipated sequel. Apparently, the film is likely to be called as Chota Mesthri. Talk is that Rachcha director Sampath Nandi is working on a story on similar lines and even registered the title Chota Mesthri in Film Chamber.

While Sampath is awaiting for the Box Office result of Bengal Tiger, he’s planning to do his next with Charan. If all goes well, the proposed film will go onto floors in 2016. After the debacle of Bruce Lee, Ram Charan is looking out for a complete mass film to bounce back.

Given that Mass films are Charan’s forte, Charan doesn’t want to take any chances this time. He’s more choosy and conscious this time. In fact, Chiranjeevi and Allu Aravind too stepped into the scene as their nod has become mandatory for Charan to sign the film.

Meanwhile, Charan is also working on the Telugu remake of Tamil hit Thani Oruvan. Until the completion of this, Charan doesn’t want to deviate from any and so, Sampath has to wait for Charan for a while.

Recently, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma criticized superstars of Telugu and Tamil industries for not donating up to their prominence for Chennai floods relief. He even targeted Power Star Pawan Kalyan for not reacting on the disaster. This time around, RGV once again made satirical comments on Pawan stating the actor has donated Rs 2 crores for the floods victims, which is actually not true and is to troll the actor.

RGV tweets read: “Extremely happy to hear that P K donated 2 cr to chennai victims..I salute this extraordinary gesture..This is what is the Power of a Star. P k gvng 2 cr is more than R K giving 10 cr becos R K doing to his people whereas P K is doing to different on humanitarian considerations.

P K giving 2 cr to chennai tragedy is proof his concern is for human tragedy across states which justifies his adulation for Che Guevara. This just proves that Power Star has 20 times more sympathy towards human tragedy than the Super Star.” In fact, RGV hasn’t contributed anything for the cause.

But if you ask the director the same, he will simply say “I never donated one rupee and am supremely selfish unlike celebs who give quintals of prayers and tonnes of love.”

As per sources close to Pawan Kalyan, the actor is discontented about Chennai tragedy, but is not in a position to contribute as he doesn’t have any liquid cash right now. Only thing he can do right now is asking AP government to release some funds and also asking fans to organize fund raising events.

Why audiences buying tickets with a 100-rupee note should feel the torture of watching some non-sense films, especially the ones made by Ram Gopal Varma in the recent times? While audiences do have an answer for this or not, maverick director Varma is having one. “As a filmmaker, we take more pain that audience watching a movie.

They buy ticket with 100-rupee note, but we make movies with crores of rupees. They have the privilege of walking away amidst screening or during interval, but a filmmaker has to travel with the film and take all the criticism no matter what”, says Varma, explaining the hardships a director has to face for making a film. Talking about torture being felt by audiences, he adds,

“Audiences have more freedom than a filmmaker. A torture felt by audience is nothing, probably zero, in front of what a filmmaker cruises through”. Whether someone agrees or not, RGV stressed that he’s right in the case of every film, every filmmaker and reaction of audiences on that particular film. During a TV show promoting his “Killing Veerappan”, he shared this stuff.

Bollywood yesteryear actress Rani Mukherjee and top producer Aditya Chopra have become proud parents. Rani delivered a baby girl at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. They named the baby- Adira. Apparently, the first two words- Adi are taken from Aditya Chopra and ra- is taken from Rani’s name. As per reports, the mother as well as the baby are healthy and are doing well.

Actually, the baby was expected early in January. “I would like to thank all my well wishers and fans. Today life has given us God’s greatest gift with Adira. We thank fans our friends and well wishers for their unconditional support and blessings.

With joy we begin this new chapter in our lives,” Rani said in a statement. It was veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who first revealed the news through Twitter and also revealed that the baby girl has been named Adira. “Rani and Aditya Chopra become proud parents to a baby girl named Adira. Congratulations!” Rishi Kapoor tweeted.
