Deccan Chargers Reddy Girl Gets Engaged
Ever since India’s most favorite sporting event Indian Premiere League (IPL) kickstarted in 2008, one young and beautiful lady became the face of the Deccan Chargers Hyderabad team. She is Gayatri Reddy, the doting daughter of Deccan Chronicle Chairman T Venaktram Reddy. The dynamic Telugu lady took over the responsibility of managing Deccan Chargers singlehandedly until the 2012 edition.
In the process, the 29-year-old Gayatri Reddy earned thousands of fans and followers. But now, here’s some heartbreaking news for all Gayatri fans. As per the latest reports, Gayatri Reddy has been engaged to a North Indian man in Sri Lanka recently.
The engagement was a strictly private affair with only family and close friends gracing the occasion. Gayatri is a graduate from the University College of London and she mainly works a journalist and Features Editor at Deccan Chronicle, and writes extensively on travel, fashion, sports and cuisine apart from covering several celebrities.

Sam’s Year End Treat with ‘Nava Manmadhudu’
Miss Talented and Beautiful, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is seen just once on Telugu silver screen this year. Obama calls up Modi to talk climate change
U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday telephoned Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the progress made in climate change negotiations currently underway in Paris, the White House said. The President spoke with Mr. Modi early Tuesday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters at his daily news conference. It is likely that Mr. Obama would also be talking over phone with his Chinese counterpart too, he said. A day earlier, Mr. Obama had spoken with his Brazilian counterpart. Mr. Earnest said the U.S. President is closely following the developments in Paris where more than 180 countries are trying to hammer out a deal on climate change. “I can tell you that earlier today, the (U.S.) President placed a telephone call to Prime Minister Modi of India to discuss the ongoing negotiations,”
Mr. Earnest said. “I would anticipate that over the course of this week as the negotiations continue, the President would be in touch with other world leaders,” he said. Mr. Obama is getting regular updates from his team in Paris about the status of the negotiations, he added.In Paris last week, Mr. Obama had met Mr. Modi on the sidelines of the climate change summit. He had also met his Chinese counterpart. Mr. Earnest said the U.S. President is optimistic about the success of the Paris summit. “Well, again, he is, but primarily for the reasons that he said when he was in Paris last week, which is even in advance of the Paris negotiations, we saw the international community mobilise to make significant commitments to cut carbon pollution,” he said.
Anushka To Produce 3 Films
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma who reached many heights in Hindi industry in short span has announced to produce three films. Anushka turned producer this year with critically acclaimed film NH 10 in which she played female lead opposite Neil Bhoopalam. The starlet who is very much interested in producing films is planning to make small to medium range films under her own production.
‘It is something that I do for myself. It makes me feel good and content with my work. I also get to access creative control. We are developing three films right now. Two have already been developed,’ said she, adding, producing films has been fulfilling and rewarding at the same time for her.
Navdeep Singh, the director of NH 10 will helm Anushka’s next production venture. The sultry beauty also gave her nod for two newcomers Anshai Lal and Delhi Belly writer Akshat Verma. As revealed by Anushka, Anshai Lal’s script is a funny, happy romance with loads of humour.
Meanwhile, Anushka is working for Karan Johar’s production and directorial project Ae Dil Hai Mushkil also co-stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas.
Myanmar inaugurates new stock exchange
Myanmar inaugurated a new stock exchange on Wednesday with plans for six companies to start trading in March next year. The Yangon Stock Exchange will initially be open only to Myanmar companies and investors, Minister of Finance Win Shein said.
Myanmar had a stock exchange during its years of military rule but it attracted few companies and trading was almost nonexistent. The Yangon Stock Exchange is being set up with Japanese assistance. He also said planned law changes will eventually allow foreigners to invest in Myanmar shares.

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been nominated for the Best Actor in an Action Role – Male/Female category for “Jazbaa” for the forthcoming BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2015, where she is the only female actress to earn the spot. Other nominations include names like Akshay Kumar for “Gabbar Is Back”, Arjun Kapoor for “Tevar”, Varun Dhawan for “Badlapur” and Saif Ali Khan for “Phantom”.The award ceremony will be held with the glitz and glitterati of tinsel town here later this month.
According to a critic, the Sanjay Gupta directorial is a well made, stylish action-drama, with strong screenplay and distinctive cinematography.It narrated the story of the transformation of a confident criminal lawyer (played by Aishwarya) into a helpless and frustrated mother, trying to rescue her daughter from her kidnappers. It also stars Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff. Aishwarya, who ended her hiatus after her motherhood with “Jazbaa”, is now working on Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.

Vijayawada Bar Tragedy: Cong In Deep Soup
The Congress party, it appears, is totally on the defensive mode, as its leaders were found to be involved in one controversy or the other. The other day, the party received a huge embarrassment when its MP candidate for Warangal Lok Sabha by-elections S Rajaiah was arrested in connection with the death of his daughter in law and three grandchildren in a cylinder blast case at his residence. Though the party leaders tried to save him initially, they were forced to sack him from the party after it was proved that he was a prime accused in the case. Now, the Congress leadership is once again in the soup, with the alleged involvement of its former MLA Malladi Vishnu in the liquor tragedy case at Vijayawada. The police on Tuesday registered cases against Vishnu and eight others in connection with the deaths of five people after they consumed adulterated liquor at the bar.
The building in which the bar is located belongs to Vishnu, while his brother-in-law and mother-in-law are major partners in the bar. Vishnu, however, denied the reports that he was the owner of the bar. Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy critcised the TDP government for trying to foist cases against Vishnu, who was fighting against the government failures. He said the government should conduct a thorough probe into the liquor deaths at Krishnalanka in Vijayawada. He said the Congress party would not keep silent if it tried to vindictive acts against Vishnu. The case should be probed in all the angles and an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh should be paid to the families of the victims.
