Director Sampath Nandi was once regarded as the most unlucky person because he traveled with Pawan Kalyan for 2+ years in the name of Gabbar Singh 2 and then parted ways. There was a lot of negativity spread since then in film industry about this director but surprisingly he has signed “Bengal Tiger” with Raviteja, shutting many mouths.

What has Sampath to say about this episode? Praising that his travel with Pawan Kalyan improvised the way he composes shots now, Sampath Nandi stated that one could learn many things from the mighty hero. “GS2 hold back and project going awry are not big things. It has been a learning process with Pawan Kalyan.

What others think about this matter really doesn’t bother me” the Rachha director avers. Also he stated that there are many lows in career like scrapping of his project with Upendra after 90% completion of the shoot.

Also it took some years to convince his lover’s parents for marriage and seeing all such things Sampath says Gabbar Singh issue is a very small and minute thing. Regarding his opting out from Pawan’s film, Sampath said, “Creative differences always lead to such stuff”.

Bengal Tiger is hitting cinemas on 10th December, marking Sampath’s return to silver screen after his 2011 hit film Rachha.

Mumbai: Top Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra says she works 16 hours a day to get recognition and money and has no time to enjoy life. The national-award winning actress has become a household name not only in India but globally too with her American TV show ‘Quantico’. “Success is not a destination…. Success is a journey. You are successful if you are consistently successful,” Priyanka said in an interview here. Asked whether money matters, Priyanka said, “I do make money as I work very hard for what I do. I don’t sleep at night, I work 16 hours a day, I don’t have weekends or Birthdays or Diwali.” On whether Hollywood would be the next step, the 34-year-old actress said, “I have an agent in America since five years but I do work on my own terms.

I am a star here in Hindi cinema so I don’t want to do anything for the heck of it. I have no desperation to prove a point to someone. I would do films there if it excites me.” Earlier Deepika Padukone had revealed that Priyanka was the first industry friend she made in Bollywood. To which Priyanka added, “We had common friends… We used to meet for movies and dinners.” So is it possible to be friends with contemporaries, the ‘Mary Kom’ star said, “I can be friends with most of my colleagues I work with.” Priyanka and Deepika will be seen as Kashi Bai and Mastani in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’. New Delhi: From ‘Student of the Year’ to ‘Dilwale’, Varun Dhawan has made some interesting career choices and the actor is happy that his audience has always supported him. “I am growing with my audience. When I made my debut I was 24 and they have grown up with me. They are with me with each choice of mine. I have been lucky that children took a liking to me. The youth and the kids, they come and support me,” he told PTI in an interview. Varun made his debut with Karan Johar’s 2012 film and then went on to star in ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ but it was Sriram Raghvan’s experimental thriller ‘Badlapur’ that helped him garner critical acclaim. In ‘Dilwale’, slated to release on December 18, Varun stars as the younger brother of SRK. The actor reveals he was the first one to come on board the Rohit Shetty-directed movie. “I met Rohit sir a couple of times as I am a big fan of his work. I heard that he was making a film where he needs an actor of the senior generation and another from the junior one. And then I got the script. I was the first person to be offered this role, even before Shah Rukh sir,” said Varun, adding he will not hesitate to call a director if he liked his work.

“I will not do ‘chamchagiri’ but if I like a director, I will tell him that I like your work and I want to work with you. I would do that.” The actor says ‘Dilwale’ set had become like a family as they shot for 150 days. “You are bound to get attached as you are shooting for 150 days. No workshop can get this kind of chemistry unless you have a bond. It was like a real family, we got along so well. Shah Rukh sir called me on the first day and said, ‘if there is anything you ever need you call me’. He has always been there. He is just there for everyone.” ‘Dilwale’ is already one of the most anticipated films of the year and Varun is hopeful that the film will be appreciated. “It is not about money or success in those terms always. Sometimes, even to be appreciated is important. People think the effort is less in popular commercial cinema but that’s not true. There were very difficult action scenes. I am standing on a monster truck and jump from there. I look happy doing it but it is not easy.” Varun will be next seen in ‘Dishoom’, which will be directed by his brother Rohit Dhawan. John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna also star in the movie. “We have a big schedule in Abu Dhabhi in January. The movie has a lot of cool action.”

Sampath Nandi after the success of his Racha with Ram Charan was supposed to work on Gabbar Singh-2. He worked on the movie script for about 2 years but was later shown door from the project. Finally he managed to convince Raviteja for Bengal Tiger and is banking on the film for success.

In an interview, he was asked about how he felt after losing Powerstar’s project. For which Sampath Nandi said, “These kind of situations are very common in film industry. It was my dream to do a film with him, but due to some unexpected situations the project was shelved.

I felt very bad for some time but moved ahead in life”. Interestingly, Sampath Nandi’s first two films – Yemaindhi Ee Vela and Racha were big hits. Bengal Tiger which will release this Thursday will complete the hat-trick if it goes on to become a hit.

Tamil Star Hero and Superstar Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush bagged the much needed success in Telugu with Raghuvaran B.Tech. Since then one after the other, all his movies are being dubbed in to Telugu.

His recent Tamil film, Thanga Magan is being dubbed in to Telugu as Nava Manmadhudu. The movie had finished its Telugu dubbing works as well as censor formalities very recently. The makers are planning to release the movie on December 18th.

They will begin the promotions of the film with the audio release event of the film on 11th of this month. Dhanush is expected to attend the event. Samantha and Amy Jackson are the female leads.

All eyes are on Chiranjeevi’s niece Konidela Niharika who is making her debut with Oka Manasu. Ramaraju is the director and Madhura Sridhar is the producer of the film, which will have Naga Shourya as the lead actor. The film’s shooting is currently going on and according to a source, the first schedule was completed recently.

Much before her debut, Niharika was already popular on television with her reality shows and she has also acted in a few short films. “She is a bundle of talent and is giving an extraordinary performance in the film. She will be a good actress in the future,” says a source from the unit.
