We have been hearing about a possible sequel to Nikhil’s Karthikeya from various media sources from the past few days. Finally here is a clarification about the project from Nikhil himself. In an interview, he said, “The second part will start from where it was left off in Karthikeya.

We want to make this a genuine franchise. So will not be calling it ‘Karthikeya 2’. We will retain the title ‘Karthikeya’ and will add a tagline to it”.

Chandoo Mondeti who directed Karthikeya will wield megaphone for this sequel project. He is currently directing Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam. Karthikeya sequel will begin after that.

Several years ago, Puri Jagannadh launched Bollywood starlet Neha Sharma along with Ram Charan in Chirutha. However, Neha couldn’t manage to make a decent career in Tollywood and moved back to Bollywood. Years later, Neha’s sister Aisha was supposed to make her Tollywood debut with Ram’s Shivam but was dropped later.

Aisha, however can’t live on these dreams for a long time as Majun unit is heard replacing her with Regina Cassandra. However, looks like Aisha’s Tollywood dreams are short-lived once again. As per the latest reports, the Majnu unit has replaced Aisha Sharma with Regina Cassandra.

Apparently, the makers screen-tested Aisha and Naga Chaitanya and come to a conclusion that Aisha looked too young opposite Naga Chaitanya. Hope Aisha’s bad luck in Tollywood will end soon after “Rogue” release and this selecting-and-dropping phenomena would scrap off.

Nora is joining as a wild-card entry in the 9th edition of Big Boss. With the show being hosted by Salman Khan, the usually popular show got more attention.

We have to see if she will click like an Ileana or not. Loafer is set for December 17th release, as per producer C Kalyan.

Energetic Hero Ram had mixed results in 2015. He had an average Pandaga Chesko at the start and Shivam which released in the second half of the year is an outright disaster. The movie just managed to collect 6.68 Crore share Worldwide in its full run bringing heavy losses to all those involved in the trade.

Ram in fact will have a pie of this losses as his uncle, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is the producer of this film. And he has taken a share in the project as his remuneration.

With the reports emerging from the sets that Pawan Kalyan scolded producer and director of his current film Sardar Gabbar Singh, the producer Sharat Marar reportedly angry with the news. Fresh news suggest that he denied all these reports of Pawan Kalyan having tiff with him. Sharat Mararar and Pawan go long way as they are thick friends from the days of Johnny, Pawan Kalyan’s only directorial movie that happened in 2003. He is the only person Pawan believes him, hence there is no question of the star being harsh to Marar, says a source close to the unit.

On the other hand, the shooting of the movie is still progressing in Gujarat despite Pawan Kalyan completing his part, the sources confirmed. No doubt that Sardar Gabbar Singh had gone through many hurdles as per as shooting is concerned as its initial schedules were completely called off several times as Pawan Kalyan was busy with his political activity. As per the latest reports in Tamil media circles, Vijay has donated a whopping 5 crore towards the rehabilitation and relief operations of the Chennai flood victims. However, going by his feud with the Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa, it is not clear whether Vijay would make this donation through the Tamil Nadu CM’s Relief Fund or some other organizations.

Interestingly, while all the reputed Tamil and national media houses and fans have been going gaga over Vijay’s magnanimous donation, neither Vijay nor his manager have so far confirmed the news. And if the news indeed turns out to be true, Vijay will be the highest donor in the entire country who has chipped in for the flood victims’ relief.

Director Puri Jagan and his “Loafer” star Varun Tej have revealed something very candid. Things can take any turn in film industry and that’s why there are no permanent foes and friends here, because projects take off in an unexpected and strange ways here.

Before Varun stepped into films, Puri Jagan used to think if this plump boy will ever become an actor. “What sir, will he fit as a hero? What’s that he want to do in his life?”, Puri used to ask Nagababu this way. One day Varun Tej met Puri stating that he wants to start career as assistant director on “Chirutha” movie, but never went again.

Surprised Puri now says, “Varun asked me for assistant director chance, but he gave me the opportunity of becoming his film’s director”. Of course, when Nitin walked out of this film, it’s Varun Tej who okayed it over a phone call narration.

Talking about the same, Varun Tej now thanks Puri: “Thank you sir for giving me chance as a hero, though not as your assistant director”. The trend of naming movies with names of famous film celebrities is in thing in Tollywood. Recently a small film was titled Dil Raju which was later changed slightly. Another movie registered its title as Prabhas Pelli. Soon we are going to be seen a movie with Rajamouli’s name. In the movie industry, everyone calls Rajamouli as Jakkanna, as he is very meticulous in making the movies and creates spectacular visual pieces much like famous sculptor Amarashilpi Jakkanna.

NTR Jr popularized the term Jakkanna for Rajamouli. Now comedian Sunil is planning to use this name as his movie’s title. Sunil will be doing a film to be directed by Vamsikrishna and Jakkanna is the title that is being floated around for the movie. Although Rajamouli shares a great relationship with Sunil as he made Marayda Ramanna with him, will Rajamouli agree to this title?
