Charan And Trivikram Film: Combination Issue
Mega hero Ram Charan’s movie under magical writer-director Trivikram’s direction is what many fans want to see from a long time. But somehow this combination is missing out every time and seems it won’t materialise even in the coming days.
Actually producer DVV Danayya is having Charan’s dates for another films and also he has given an advance to Trivikram sometime back. Everyone thought that this combination would work but after Bruce Lee’s disappointment Charan is not keen to work with this producer for a while.
Till that time Danayya can’t wait to waste Trivikram’s next dates. We hear that he’s trying to set Akhil and Trivikram film as the combination of Charan-Trivikram is not getting materialised somehow.
At the same time, Trivikram also gave a commitment to Tamil hero Surya but DVV Danayya is not ready to afford Surya at the moment. We have to see which combination will finally go on floors after Trivikram wraps his A..Aa while Akhil is still waiting to sign his second film and Danayya taking things as they come.
Immature And Arrogant!
Probably, these two adjectives would be sufficient to describe the nature of the statement made by Sonia Gandhi in Parliament. Referring to the NDA in Parliament, Sonia Gandhi said, “People who never had faith in the Constitution, nor participated in its drafting, are now swearing by it. There cannot be a bigger joke than this.” Obviously, it was also a reference to the ‘Sangh Parivar’. While it is quite common nowadays for the opposition to say that the government does not believe in the constitution, the latter part of Sonia Gandhi’s statement is false.
She cannot accuse the BJP or its ideological father, the RSS of not participating in the drafting of the Constitution. They were not allowed to! Nehru tried his best to stomp out the RSS which he believed was becoming a serious threat to the hegemony of the Congress. The RSS head was put behind bars for a period of 18 months, an insult which did not generate any ill-will in them. Had the BJP been a part of the drafting of the constitution, history over the last six decades would have definitely taken a different course.
Charan Is Doing It, Finally
After Bruce Lee failed at the box office, Charan has been in two minds about doing the remake of Thani Oruvan. The film was a super hit in Tamil and Charan was decided on doing the film. However, in between, there was talk that Allu Arvind decided against it. Now, Charan too is said to be in two minds as the film does not have much role for the heroine.
So, talk is that Charan finally decided that he will do the film and a track for heroine will be added in the Telugu version. Also, Charan’s film will have more songs than the Tamil version. The film’s shooting will begin in February. The shooting will begin in August and the plan is to release it by Dassera. The film will have the original Tamil villain Arvind Swamy in Telugu. Though the film does not have too many commercial elements, it has a strong story and that will ensure another hit in Charan’s list say industry insiders.

Top DOP Vows Never To Shoot Cleavages
Hailed as one of the leading cinematographers in the country, popular Tamil DOP Rathnavelu is hugely acclaimed for his path-breaking cinematography in films like Aarya, Robo, 1 Nenokkadine and the recent release Kumari 21F. Thanks to his stature as a well admired DOP, Rathnaveu has the luxury of shooting only something he believes in.
In a recent interview, Rathnavelu revealed that he will never shoot the cleavage of his heroines or other actresses. Explaining his stance with Kumari 21F reference, Rathnavelu said even though Kumari 21F was a bold and an Adult film, he tried to show all the romantic scenes poetically, for which he is receiving all the appreciation.
Rathnavelu also said he often cautions his directors whenever he feels that they are going overboard while showing their heroines’ glamour. Thankfully, Rathnavelu has mostly worked with good directors who knew where to draw the fine line between sensuality and obscenity.
The star DOP also said he conducts makeup tests for his actors to understand their positives and negatives. Well, cinematographers are the key technicians who are instrumental in exploring an actress’ beauty and glamor on the screen. If an established DOP like Rathnavelu go to such an extent, no wonder all his heroines will look beautiful on the silver screen.

Buzz: Samantha’s Girl Next Door Acts
Heroine Samantha started her Telugu career with a bang as her ‘saree’ acts in Ye Maya Chesave clicked instantly. Never she repeated that act however, as she tried to look very glamorous from her next film onwards. Despite stunning with her performances, she’s a spicy siren who scorches the screen with her charms.
Suddenly this hot Chennai girl took a simple girl route from her regular glamorous path. In upcoming films like Thangamagan and 24 in Tamil, and A..Aa in Telugu, Samantha will be seen sporting that girl-next-door look throughout the films.
She might go glamorous for songs, but her look in the scenes will be as simple as it could be. Probably she wants to break the monotony that she’s depending only on glamorous outfits all the time, but not these simple looks.
Anyway, she’s the most sought after siren at the moment in both Tollywood and Kollywood at the moment with some interesting flicks in her hand. After A..Aa, Sam will join Brahmotsavam sets, while Jr NTR Korata Siva film probably.

Brahmotsavam Satellite Demand Touching Sky
Following the phenomenal success of Srimanthudu, Superstar Mahesh Babu has become the most craziest actor in Tollywood. This craze has in turn resulted in the hike of Mahesh’s paychecks for the biggies he signe like Brahmotsavam and AR Murugadoss’ film. Not stopping with the remuneration, this craze further seeped into Brahmotsavam satellite rights.
As per the inside buzz, the competition to grab Brahmotsavam satellite rights has intensified, with channels offering shockingly exorbitant prices to strike the deal. A source reveals to us that Brahmotsavam satellite deal has touched a humongous 20 crore, second highest in Tollywood after Baahubali.
Mahesh has an unbeatable admiration society among the family audiences who have been loyal viewers of his family entertainers like Athadu, Dookudu, SVSC and recently Srimanthudu, which got a staggering 21.4 TRPs for its world TV premiere.
With Brahmotsavam being a wholesome family entertainer, this record satellite deal is only justified and the channel will recover its investment without sweat if the film manages to get hit talk.
Karisma And Sunjay’s Divorce Called Off
The petition for divorce between actress Karisma Kapoor and her husband Sunjay Kapur on grounds of mutual consent has been disposed of. The family court judge, I J Nanda, disposed of the petition on Friday, after the couple had filed applications to withdraw their consent to it. Asked if they will stay together henceforth, Sunjay’s lawyer Narayan Suvarna said, “That is up to my client, I have no idea about it.” Either party can now file a fresh divorce case on other grounds available with them. Karisma’s lawyer Kranti Sathe said, “The petition for divorce on the grounds of mutual consent stands disposed as it was withdrawn by both the parties. Now there is nothing in court. We had filed the application to withdraw her consent to the petition because there was absolutely no intention or desire to fulfill any of the financial obligations. They were only for the children and he chose not to do it.”
As per the court’s orders, Sunjay was supposed to meet certain financial commitments within a period of six months from the time of signing the consent papers. However, he allegedly took no initiative. Sunjay’s lawyer Suvarna added, “The court has accepted the applications to withdraw the consent and has disposed of the matter as there was no compliance from both the sides. The divorce has not been granted and so they will be husband and wife.” The couple got married in 2003 and have two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan Raj.
Producer’s Council Complaint To Centre About Baahubali
Hailed as India’s biggest motion picture, SS Rajamouli’s epic socio-fantasy film Baahubali also earned the recognition as India’s biggest box-office success by grossing more than 600 crores at the box-offices worldwide. The film also won critics’ applause in India and abroad and has also been premiering at several international film festivals.
However, even after winning international acclaim, Baahubali was not honored by our own Indian government.
While many thought that Baahubali’s selection in the Indian Panorama section in the just concluded International Film Festival of India in Goa organized by the union government is confirmed, Tollywood was in for a huge shock as the jury decided not to select Baahubali for IFFI Goa.
Deeply upset with this, several producers at the Telugu Film Producer’s Council have reportedly written a letter of dissent to the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Arun Jaitely alleging that centre is neglecting Telugu Cinema.
However, the ministry has not responded to the producers’ complaint until now. In the past too, several Tollywood filmmakers alleged bias and regional prejudice against Telugu films by the central awards committees for national film awards.
