Sudheer Explores Never Seen Side Of Raviteja

After making a striking debut with Nikhil, Swathi’s superhit crime comedy Swamy Ra Ra Sudheer Varma nosedived with the disastrous second outing Dohchay. The Naga Chaitanya starrer utterly failed to set the cash registers ringing and couldn’t even impress critics.

Since the debacle of his second film, Sudheer Varma has been on a low and even though he was rumored to be directing Ravi Teja in his next, thing looked bleak for him with Ravi Teja signing to films back-to-back. Now, latest reports reveal that Sudheer Varma has finally got the green signal from the Mass Maharaja.

Apparently, the director and Ravi Teja met recently and Sudheer reportedly flattered the actor with his script which is primarily an action drama blended with loads of thrilling moments. Ravi Teja did suggest a few changes and Sudheer is currently reworking on the script before the duo makes a formal announcement.

Sources close to Sudheer say that he is keen on exploring a never seen before side of Ravi Teja’s energetic onscreen person.

Nani Tattoos Balayya’s Name

Young hero Nani proved he is a big fan of Balayya. The star was spotted recently sporting a tattoo of ‘Jai Balayya’ on his right forearm. It is being said that Nani is playing the role of Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s fan in his upcoming yet to be titled film. Incidentally, Nani is a huge fan of Balakrishna in his real life too.

Hanu Raghavapudi of ‘Andhala Rakshasi’ fame is directing this film. 14 Reels Entertainment is the production house. The movie’s shoot has almost been wrapped up and the makers are contemplating to release the movie in the month of December.

Released amidst sky-high expectations, Akhil failed to not even retrieve at least half the investments. The film’s pre-release business touched nearly 50 crores, which resulted in a colossal loss for its producers and distributors.

No, dark clouds are cast on Akhil’ satellite business. Apparently, a couple of leading entertainment channels came forward to grab the crazy film’s satellite rights and were even ready to shell out a whopping cheque. However, the film’s producer Sudhakar Reddy who was ultra confident about the film decided to let go the offers and wait until the film’s release, expecting to cash in extra buck.

With the film’s disastrous result and the family audiences not welcoming the film during it release, Akhil’s satellite rights have not become a huge headache for its producer as no channel is now ready to offer the same amount as earlier. Thanks to no big films around, channels might still show a keen interest on buying the film keeping the Sankranthi season in mind.

Recently, we reported that Apple plans to make some major hardware advances with its upcoming smartphones. And one of the many upgrade would be waterproofing its future iPhones. However, not much was known with regards to how Apple plans to do the same.

On Thursday, the US Patent and Trademark Office published a report by Apple, titled “Electronic devices with housing port shutters”, which explains the physics Apple plans to use to bring the feature to effect in its smartphones.The application sketches a system of electrically controlled shutters, placed over the openings of critical components like speaker boxes and microphones. At the command of an onboard logic, these shutter mechanisms can quickly block, thereby preventing intrusion of contaminants into the interior portion of the housing.

Mumbai: Actor Hrithik Roshan has come out in support of Aamir Khan, praising the superstar for his measured response to the criticism that he faced following his remarks on intolerance. The 50-year-old “PK” star, who received flak from political parties and film industry colleagues, released a statement yesterday, saying he and his family did not have any intention of leaving the country and he was a proud Indian.

This came two days after he expressed his “alarm and despondency” over the rise in recent incidents of intolerance, at an event in the capital. Posting Aamir’s statement, Hrithik tweeted, “What I learn from this – even when attacked u must find d power to respond and not react! Well done @aamir_khan.”

Sarve Blames It On EVMs For Warangal Loss!

Demanding an inquiry by a commission into the alleged Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) manipulation, former Union Minister and Congress candidate in Warangal parliamentary by-election, Sarve Sathyanarayana, who forfeited his deposit, has alleged that the ruling TRS has won the election by manipulating EVMs and said the election result was not people’s verdict. Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday, Sarve alleged the ruling party faced severe public opposition during the election campaign and as part of it the people pulled up the ministers and TRS leaders. He also said he would wage a legal war against the government in case it failed to order an open inquiry into the tampering of EVMs.

He asked the Chief Minister to address a letter to the Election Commission within three days seeking a probe or else he would wage a legal fight against the government. Declaring that he salute Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao if it was found that the EVMs were okay during the polling, Sarve asked KCR to tender his resignation in case the EVMs were found to be not correct. Sarve alleged that the TRS leaders manipulated EVMs since the Cantonment elections. Pointing out that the TRS never got such a huge majority even during the separate Telangana movement, Sarve made it clear that the TRS got huge majority and Congress lost its deposit because of the manipulation of EVMs by the ruling TRS party.

After keeping silent for more than a couple of months, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to be back with his old game of hounding the Telugu Desam Party. The Anti-Corruption Bureau, which has kept the cash-for-vote scam under wraps for quite some after the revival of bonhomie between KCR and his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, has reopened the case once again with the submission of forensic reports by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) confirming the voices of TDP legislators A Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, besides Sebastian, that were recorded during the sting operation.

The FSL had taken Revanth’s speeches in the Telangana Assembly as standard to compare his voice with that of the voice recorded on video and Sebastian’s HTC mobile phone. The officials have also done a similar test in the case of Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. It is reported that both the voices are confirmed. The Forensic team submitted its report to the ACB court. According to latest information, the KCR government is learnt to have asked the FSL to verify the voice samples of Naidu and compare them with the voice recorded in the phone of MLA E Stephenson. If the samples are confirmed, the government can straightway seek prosecution of Naidu, say sources.

Ayn Rand is a celebrated writer who has come up with novels like Atlas Shrugged and Fountain Head. Her works of fiction have inspired millions and no doubt Ramu could be her ardent follower. Bruce Lee stunts are what could be seen in this director’s films and he wrote Siva script basing on the legendary stunt specialist’s Enter The Dragon film.

Say it mutual benefit, as Ramu’s Rangeela made child actor Urmila a big heroine in Bollywood, while her glamour fetched the director an immediate attention in Hindi film world. Coming to Big B, Ramu has directed him in nearly seven films and they share very good bonding.
