TRS MP from Nizamabad Kalvakuntla Kavitha expressed deep concern over the pathetic situation in Andhra Pradesh. Kavitha said that she was deeply moved by the tragic deaths of two persons in their protest over centre’s denial of special status to Andhra Pradesh. Kavitha then said that she too will fight for the rights of AP which were mentioned in the state’s reorganisation act. Lambasting AP CM Chandrababu, Kavitha said that Babu’s silence is pushing the AP people into desperation and that the CM must demand the centre to sanction what was promised to AP during the state division.

After much speculation for the last couple of months, Trivikram has officially announced his next film starring Nithiin and Samantha. Today, S Radhakrishna, the producer at Haarika & Haasine banner, officially declared that the film’s regular shooting will flag off in September 3rd week and that the film will release as a Sankranthi special.

Until the last few days, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan was in Sankranthi race as the makers of Sardaar planned to complete the entire film within December to ready the film for Sankranthi. However, unavoidable delay thanks to Powerstar canceling the shoot to attend his brother Megastar’s birthday bash and then the press meet in the capital region resulted in the film pushing its release to early summer.

Now, Pawan’s Sankranthi slot has been grabbed by his close associate Trivikram and Nithiin, a diehard fan of Powerstar. Already, the Sankranthi battle is heating up with several big budget films like Balakrishna’s Dictator and NTR’s Maa Nannaku Prematho locking horns with each other. Let’s wait until next Sankranthi to find out the final winner in the battle.

Baahubali: The Beginning, Profits Haven’t Begun

Before the release of Baahubali, there was huge debate about the budget of the film. It looks like the film has come and gone, people forgot about it completely. But with trade circles revealing that the film made 245 crores “share” after 50 days of run at box office, the discussion pops up again.

How much profits Baahubali makers have made from the film so far? In case if the budget of 200 crores for Baahubali (whether it is for two parts or one part, Rajmouli haven’t clarified) is to be believed, then makers have made 45 crores profit. In that profit, Shobu, Prasad, Rajamouli and Prabhas (some reports say he’s a share holder) has to take a cut.

After three years of hard work, whatever share they get from this flick isn’t much. On that note we have to say that Baahubali: The Beginning haven’t begun showering profits for the makers of anyone involved. Whatever the profit they get from second part of the film would be their Gains.

As per the latest reports, Shruti too is in the process of finding the right village and she will soon get herself busy in transforming it into a model village. However, Shruti states that she is not emulating Mahesh Babu’s act and that she always had this plan since several years. Shruti further said that it was her father Kamal Haasan who inspired her towards social service.
