Innovative Filmmaker, Chandrasekhar Yeleti who is known for delivering unique films will be doing a family drama with Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal for his next. Reports are emerging that the makers are planning to name the film as Mahima.

Yesteryear actress Gautami is playing the female lead. Earlier Victory Venkatesh was approached for the project and he even evinced his interest in doing it, but some how that did not well beyond that point and now Mohanlal is brought in Venky’s place.

The movie will be produced by Sai Korrapati, who produced films like Legend, Eega etc. The movie is a multilingual which will be made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.

Young actor Nithin is currently shooting for his next, A..Aa in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. It is already known that he will be working with a debutante Venu Mallidi for the next project. The film will have its launch once A..Aa is complete.

Tollywood’s most happening heroine, Rakul Preet Singh and Doe eyed beauty Pranitha will be romancing Nithin in this film. It may be reminded that Nithin’s A..Aa also have two heroines – Samantha and Anupama Parameshwaran.

Touted to be a romantic entertainer, the film has veteran DOP Chota K Naidu cranking the camera. The movie has story written by Veligonda Srinivas. The story writer also worked for Nithin’s recent production venture, Akhil.

Superstar Rajinikanth who is shooting for his bilingual Kabali in the direction of Ranjith is readying up this movie for April 10th release to coincide with Tamil New Year. Rajinikanth earlier planned for Sankranthi release but delay in the production made him push his film to April.

The producers of Mahesh Babu’s present movie Brahmotsavam have already announced that they are planning to release this film on 8th of April to cash in on the lucrative summer holidays season. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is also planning to release Sarainodu, being directed by Boyapati Srinu, on 8th of April on the eve of his birthday. Also April second week is sentiment for him as his recent two movies Racegurram and S/0 Satyamurthy were released during the same time. If all these three movies come to the theatres as per their plan, we may see a big battle at box-office in April.

Already news of Muragadoss and Mahesh Babu’s film is being written about both in Telugu and Tamil. And now comes the news that Murugadoss is all set to sign a film with Salman Khan. While it is not clear as to what stories he has on mind, there is talk that Murugadoss will be doing both the film for sure.

So, there have been stories in Bollywood that Sallu is acting in the remake of a south-Indian film soon. However, it is not clear if it is Murugadoss’ film or another project. Close on the heels of Aamir Khan’s ‘quit India’ remark and his controversial comments on ‘raising intolerance’ in India, hardcore Hindutva party Shiv Sena had sharply responded and stated that ‘Aamir can go to Pakistan’. Perhaps, the Punjab unit of Shiv Sena thought it’s not enough. Going ahead, the Punjab state unit of Shiv Sena announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh per slap for anyone slapping actor Aamir Khan.

The aforementioned announcement was made during the Sena’s protest outside hotel MBD Radisson Blu in Ludhiana where Aamir is staying. He is camping in Ludhiana for the shooting of his upcoming movie, Dangal.

Rajeev Tandon, Punjab chairman, Shiv Sena, claimed that “any person who will slap Aamir Khan will get Rs 1 lakh for each slap from the Shiv Sena”. Tandon said, “We give an opportunity to the manager and employees of the hotel and also the team of his film to slap Aamir and get Rs 1 lakh from us. The courageous and patriotic persons who will slap Aamir Khan in Ludhiana will get Rs 1 lakh reward per slap from us.”

With this, hotel management, staff are worried a lot that any unprecedented incident would take place. On other hand, Shiv Sena party workers staging massive protest outside hotel and even blocked the traffic in front of the hotel.
