Anushka Shetty has put on a lot of weight for her oversized character in Size Zero. It is a very brave move for an actress who thrives upon glamorous roles all the time. Anushka had to let go many films to maintain the look for Size Zero. She is still looking bulky and had to shed lot of kilos before she gets back on the sets of Baahubali. Rumor mills say that Anushka is planning to undergo a weight loss surgery in US to get back in shape. Anushka denied the news and said that she would never do such things that might affect her health and body. Being a yoga instructor herself Anushka believes in natural ways to shed down the extra kilos.

Anushka has put on weight within few months all by the changes in diet. She is all set to shed all that flab by doing yoga and making subtle changes to her diet. Anushka has given more than a year for Baahubali 2 and is not taking up any new assignments as she wanted to give her full time for this epic movie. She is hoping to score a memorable success with Size Zero that is slated for release on this Friday.

Rashi Khanna and Gopichand were seen romancing in the movie Jil that didn’t fare that well at the box office. However their cute romance track in the movie has won accolades. Rashi and Gopi share an amazing on screen chemistry and despite Jil’s lukewarm performance at the ticket window the duo is all set to do another film. Ace producer AM Ratnam’s son Jyothi Krishna is going to do a movie with Gopichand and Rashi Khanna shortly. Jyothi Krishna who turned a director at a very young age of 17 didn’t taste much success till now. His films Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu and Kedi (Tamil) didn’t live up to expectations. He took a break for more than three years after his Tamil movie Ooh La la flopped.

Jyothi Krishna has written an action love story in the mean time and Gopichand has instantly liked it and gave a positive nod. Gopichand is currently doing Soukhyam that is set for December release. Rashi has Bengal Tiger that is slated for Dec 10 release and she is also doing Supreme with Sai Dharam Tej under Anil Ravipudi’s direction.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor-producer Aamir Khan on Wednesday clarified his stance on ‘intolerance’, saying he and his wife Kiran Rao love India and won’t leave the country. Aamir said that while he stood by the interview that triggered a huge row, the avalanche of criticism directed at him and his wife only proved what he had said of the situation in the country. “First, let me state categorically that neither I nor my wife Kiran have any intention of leaving the country. We never did, and nor would we like to in the future,” he said in a statement. “Anyone implying the opposite has either not seen my interview or is deliberately trying to distort what I have said. “India is my country, I love it, I feel fortunate for being born here, and this is where I am staying,” the 50-year-old celebrated actor said. “Secondly, I stand by everything that I have said in my interview.

“To all those people who are calling me anti-national, I would like to say that I am proud to be Indian, and I do not need anyone’s permission or endorsement for that. “To all the people shouting obscenities at me for speaking my heart out, it saddens me to say you are only proving my point. “To all the people who have stood by me, thank you. We have to protect what this beautiful and unique country of ours really stands for. We have to protect its integrity, diversity, inclusiveness, its many languages, its culture, its history, its tolerance, it’s concept of ‘ekantavada’, it’s love, sensitivity and its emotional strength.” At an awards event in New Delhi on Sunday, Aamir had spoken of “growing despondency” in India for the last six to eight months. He had said: “When I sit at home and talk to Kiran, for the first time she said, ‘Should we move out of India?’ Now that’s a very disastrous and a big comment to make to me.” His statement attracted widespread criticism even as many defended him.

Prince Mahesh seems to be in a purchasing spree owning luxurious movable and immovable properties. A couple of days ago he purchased a BMW car for ‘Srimanthudu’s director Koratala Siva in connection with the blockbuster success of the movie. Mahesh, himself, became the owner of a Range Rower car recently.

Buzz that Mahesh is now the proud owner of a luxurious flat in Mumbai suburbs. He spent a whopping of Rs.25 crores for this flat. Interestingly, this flat was purchased from the joint venture of Salman Khan and his friends. Mahesh and Namratha have recently left for Mumbai to complete the work of documents and other formalities.

Whenever Mahesh and the members of his family pay a visit to Mumbai, they will stay in the flat they owned and they won’t prefer any hotel to stay. On the movies front, Mahesh’s forthcoming film ‘Brahmotsavam’ is on sets. Srikanth Addala is directing the movie on PVP Cinema. Samantha, Kajal and Pranitha are doing opposite to Mahesh in the film.

Apart from being an actor, Young Tiger Ntr is interested in singing songs in his movies. He crooned for the first time for ‘Olammee thikka regindha’ song from blockbuster movie ‘Yamadonga’. ‘ 123 nenoka kanthiree’ from ‘Kanthri’, ‘Chary’ song from ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Rakasi’ from ‘Rabhasa’ are the other songs sung by him so far.

Although Ntr got pass marks as a singer, the movies in which he lent voice for songs got mixed results. ‘Yamadonga’ and ‘Adhurs’ scored hits at the box office while ‘Kanthri’ and ‘Rabhasa’ bombed at the box office.

Music director Devi Sri Prasad has revealed in his recent interview that Ntr would lend his voice for a song in his upcoming film ‘Naannaku Prematho’. Ntr is expected to sing better for this movie as he already had an experience of singing four songs in his previous movies. Meanwhile, ‘Naannaku Prematho’ is currently on sets. The movie is being directed by Sukumar on SVCC banner. Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady of the movie.
