Nikhil to Romance Three Heroines
As we reported earlier, Power Star Pawan Kalyan will be romancing three heroines in his forthcoming film ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’. Kajal plays the lead actress of the film while Raai Lakshmi as an item girl and Sanjjanaa in a cameo role will sizzle opposite to Pawan Kalyan in the film.
It is also a known news that Prince Mahesh teams up with stunning beauties Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash in his upcoming family entertainer ‘Brahmotsavam’. Here is one more hero joins the bandwagon of Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh giving his nod to romance three heroines.
Buzz that Nikhil Siddharth’s new movie will be directed by VI Anand, who directed ‘Tiger’ with Sundeep Kishan as the hero recently. Taapsi and Avika Gor have been roped in as the female leads this film while Swathi is being contemplated as another heroine of this interesting project. The movie will go on sets during the second week of the film.
Ghazi, a Sub Marine Film from PVP Cinema
Wonderful producer Prasad V Potluri appears to have re-committed himself to elevate the standards of Indian cinema with upcoming films to be produced on his banner of PVP Cinema. As his new film ‘Size Zero’ is getting a big release in next few days, here comes PVP to announce his future plans of staring nine films in next six months.
Among them, most important will be Mahesh Babu, Srikant Addala’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ already lying on sets, Nagarjuna and Karthi’s ‘Oopiri’ planned for January release. Lastly, there is a need to mention in special about ‘Ghazi’ to be made with Daggubati Rana and Taapsee in main lead characters. Actually, this is a tri-lingual flick (including Hindi version) to be made based on mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi submarine, directed by Sankalp Reddy.
To our reports, two submarine sets are erected in Hyderabad with immaculate detailing so as to bring in authenticity into project. Rana is to play the Naval Officer and the atmosphere of 1971 has to be re-created here. Today, PVP’s announcement about ‘Ghazi’ to get a start in next few months is surely the news to excite.
Bengal Tiger Platinum disk function date
Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Bengal Tiger will unleash its promotional campaign from 30th of this month with the Platinum disk function in Hyderabad. After a couple of postponements, the movie is going to release on 10th December.
Director Sampath Nandi He said that the movie is not a Police story as in the rumour mills. He also said that the movie will not happen in Bengal too. Raviteja will be seen as Akash Narayan in the film who completes his Masters in computers and is also a big idiot.
Milky Beauty Tamannah and Chubby Raashi Khanna are playing the female leads in the movie. Bheems Ceciroleo who composed music for Sampath Nandi’s first production, Galipatam is composing music for this movie.
Mahesh Babu Returns Advance
Big heroes dates are usually blocked by giving a fat advance. So, was the case with Ashwini Dutt, who had give some advance to Mahesh some time back. Well, Mahesh is quite busy right now and he does not have dates, so talk is that he hasn’t responded in affirmative to Ashwini Dutt.
Apparently, Radhakrishna (Chinna Babu) of Harika-Hassine fame also gave an advance of Rs 10 crores to Mahesh. However, since he is unable to do the film, talk is that Radhakrishna has taken back the advance as interest rates get pretty high with time. Though it is not confirmed, talk is that Mahesh might still have a couple of crores, but the Trivikram film will not be happening any time soon say industry insiders.
First look posters of Suriya’s ’24’ released
The first look posters of Suriya-starrer Tamil film “24”, which were released online on Tuesday, have piqued a lot of curiosity among the actor’s fans and film lovers with regards to its genre. Going by the two posters, Suriya dons extremely distinct avatars of an assassin and a scientist.
Rumoured to be based on the concept of time-travel, the film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen. Jointly produced by Studio Green and 2D Entertainment, the film is directed by Vikram Kumar and is slated for a summer 2016 release. The film has music by A.R. Rahman.
Balakrishna’s 100th Film To Be Launched In June
Nandamuri Balakrishna who is presently shooting for his 99th movie has decided to launch his milestone 100th movie on June 10th next year on the eve of his birthday. He will be taking off from shoots for couple of months after the release of Dictator, which is presently being made by Sri Wass. Then he will start working on his 100th movie which will be directed by his favorite filmmaker Boyapati Srinu. Boyapati delivered two biggest hits to Balakrishna with Simha in 2010 and Legend in 2014. So impressed with the working style of Boyapati, Balayya promised him last year that he would hand over the responsibility of directing his 100th movie to Boyapati and arrange a producer for it.
He even took Boyapati to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and made him handover the filming of Rajamundry Pushkaralu. At present, Boyapati is inner circle of Balakrishna and the director is busy wrapping up Sarainodu with Allu Arjun. Sarainodu is expected to release in the month of April, while Balakrishna’s 100th movie will be formally launched on grand scale on 10th June. Balakrishna is planning to bring in several leading film personalities of Indian cinema for the muhurtham function of this movie in June next year.
Ram Gopal Varma blasts Bollywood Khans
Bollywood’s Top Superstars Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan upped the intolerant India debate by alleging that the country is becoming intolerant under the current government. While there is a public backlash on these allegations, Ram Gopal Varma blasted the Khans left and right.

Bollywood heroine asked to sleep with producer
Alisha Farrer, a popular beauty pageant participant, has now couple of Bollywood films in her kitty. However she says her journey to Bollywood is not easy as she made shocking allegations of casting couch in the industry.
“Couple of months back, I got a call from a casting director. I was auditioned by asking to speak some lines and dance. Later, the producer called me and told me that he liked my work but I need to sleep with him,” Alisha said in a media interview.
She further added, “I was shocked and turned down the offer. I told him that my family background doesn’t allow me to do all this.” Alisha says Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Nargis Fakri are her inspirations in Bollywood.
From Now Raashi Is Hyd Girl
Busy bee Raashi Khanna has moved into new home. Apparently, Raashi searched for over month for the perfect space and finally she found one that she love. She recently moved into this new house and still sorting out her new house.
Raashi is now preparing to do customary house warming puja followed by a party to her friends, family. What’s more? Raashi’s family who are currently staying in Delhi are going to shift their base and stay with Raashi in this new house in Hyderabad.
Raashi Khanna might have made a splashy presence alongside John Abraham in Madras Cafe. But it’s Telugu movies which embraced her with open hands and changed her fate. Now Raashi wants to return back and decided to make Hyderabad as her permanent home.
The Jil actress says, “It’s been one-and-a-half year now I’m shooting and staying in Hyderabad. I’m tired of staying at hotels, living out of suitcases.” While her Bengal Tiger is due for release, Raashi signed another film Supreme with Sai Dharam Tej.
Janatha Garage gets a start date
Young Tiger NTR’s next under the direction of Koratala Siva which was launched last month is currently busy finalizing the cast and crew of the film. The regular shooting of the movie will begin from January 8th.
The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially. They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016.
The release date working in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well.
Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.
DSP Chased By Top Producers In South
High on the stupendous success of Kumari 21F, Tollywood’s hotshot music director Devi Sri Prasad claims that he’s being approached by all the leading producers in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. However, this sudden rush from producers is not rope in DSP to score music for their films but to launch him as a hero.
During his latest promotional interview following Kumari 21F success, DSP revealed that he has been getting more offers to launch his debut from Tamil producers than the Telugu biggies. DSP said star producers like Dil Raju, Allu Aravind, Ashwini Dutt in Tollywood and Kalaipuli S Thanu and Gnanavel Raja are the prominent producers who are willing to launch him as a hero.
However, DSP lamented that even though he has been listening to many stories he is not satisfied as those stories didn’t suit his body language. DSP reiterated that he will make his acting debut only when he finds the right script. The rockstar also said he would compose music for his own films as a hero.
Where does Islamic State get money from?
Even as the United Nations has authorised member countries to do more to combat the Islamic State (IS), one of the key challenges the world powers would face in the war would be to choke the funding of the jihadist group. The group, which has established a proto-state in the self-proclaimed ‘Caliphate’ that stretches from the suburbs of Damascus to the outskirts of Baghdad comprising 8 to 10 million people, is one of the best funded terror outfits in the world. It has a religious police in the ‘Caliphate’ and is also running schools, food points and other administrative centres. Besides, it is fighting a protracted war on its borders against several enemies — the Iraqi and Syrian national armies, rebel forces and other jihadist groups such as Jabbat al-Nusra. According to The Economist, IS fighters are paid around $400 a month, better than an average Iraqi soldier. Where does the money come from for all these operations? Donors’ money Usually terror organisations are run on money they receive from international donors. The IS is also getting money through this channel.
According to a Washington Post report, the IS received up to $40 million in 2013-14 from businessmen, wealthy families and other donors in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE. Last week, Kuwaiti authorities had arrested six men who were allegedly belonging to an IS cell in the Gulf country. The authorities say they were involved in recruiting, providing logistics and funding for the terror group, which, if proved true, would substantiate the theory that cash is flowing from the Gulf into the coffers of the IS. But unlike other terror groups, the IS is not only dependent on international donors for revenues. Ever since it captured the eastern Syrian city of Raqqa in 2013, the IS has expanded its financial muscles along with its military capabilities. According to the Rand Corporation, the IS’s total revenue rose from a little less than $1 million a month in 2008-2009 (when it was called the Islamic State in Iraq) to perhaps $1 million to $3 million a day in 2014.One of the means of revenues was tax collection in the ‘Caliphate’. According to some estimates, the group charges retail stores about $2 a month in taxes. A report by Thomson Reuters estimates that extortion and taxation by the IS could fetch the group around $360 million a year.
The group has also made millions from kidnappings. According to some estimates, the jihadist group has made at least 20 million in 2014 through kidnapping for ransom alone. The IS has also looted banks in Iraqi cities that fell to its hands. Mosul was a case in point. When it captured Iraq’s second largest city in June 2014, jihadists ran over the city’s central bank looting $429 million, Nineveh governor Atheel al-Nujaifi had said then. The IS has also set up a Ministry of Antiquities whose main job is to sell precious and historical artefacts in black market and generate cash, according to Al Monitor. Single largest source But the group’s single largest source of income is oil trade. The group controls six of Syria’s 10 oil fields, including the big Omar facility, and at least four small fields in Iraq, including those at Ajeel and Hamreen, according to Maplecroft, a risk management firm. A recent Financial Times report stated that the group has established a network of oil trade starting from the production fields to the end user in and around the ‘Caliphate.’ The report puts the IS’s daily revenue from oil trade at $1.5 million. They sell oil to independent traders at the oil fields who will get it refined in the mobile or local rudimentary refineries established in Iraq and Syria and then the refined product would be taken either to the IS-controlled or private oil markets or to the neighbouring countries such as Turkey where traders would buy it.
