Ace distributor Dil Raju had bagged the Nizam Rights of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator. The price of this deal is not revealed but they say Dil Raju shelled out a fancy amount to bag the rights. Dil Raju last distributed a Balayya film several years ago and that is for Chenna Kesava Reddy.

So he is doing that again after several years. He tried to bag Legend Nizam rights but that did not happen. Dictator is being planned for Sankranthi-2016 release. The shooting is currently progressing at brisk pace. The makers have already announced that the audio launch event will happen on December 20th in Amaravati.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator team had flown to Harayana the other day. The shooting began there in Noor Mahal and will go on for three days from today. The movie unit till shift to Delhi on 26th and will shoot there till December 3rd.

The shooting of the entire talkie part will be completed by the end of the Delhi schedule. The audio launch event will happen in Amaravati on 20th December and the movie is on the way for Sankranthi-2016.

Post Production works are already happening simultaneously. Loukyam fame Srivas is wielding megaphone for this movie. He is also the co-producer of the film along with Eros International. Anjali and Sonal Chauhan are the heroines.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali is the costliest film ever made in Telugu Cinema history. Both the parts of the film are estimated at a cost of 40 Million USD but the costs are being escalated beyond that now.

Producer Shobu Yarlagadda in a media interview revealed that they have decided to scale up the production to make the second part more rich and grand. As a result the movie budget will now go up to 50 Million USD.

That will mean that they are putting 25% more than that of the initial estimates. The regular shooting of the film will begin on December 16th and the movie is planned towards the end of 2016. 40% complete of the movie shooting is already complete along with the first part shoot.

Ram Gopal Varma and Kona Venkat worked earlier on as a team for marvelous films like ‘Sathya.’ However, they both are on different levels now and here is a competition to be assumed on the cards between Kona and Rgv to happen on December 4 in the form of clash between Rgv ‘Killing Veerappan’ and Kona ‘Sankarabharanam’ hitting screens on same day.

‘Killing Veerappan’ is a story based on Indian bandit or say Sandalwood smuggler Veerappan and the way Operation Cocoon is executed to capture him. The docu-dram-thriller film written and directed by Rgv has earlier on impressed with superb trailer and now Rgv is optimistic to repeat the same magic on screen.

While Sandeep Bharadwaj is playing Veerappan, the forest brigand, the Kannada star hero Shiv Raj Kumar portrayed SP Senthamarai Kannan, the master mind behind Operation Cocoon. It will be worth a wait to see Box Office battle between Kona’s ‘Sankarabharanam’ filled with good casting of Nikhil, Anjali, Nanditha taking on relatively zero cast value of ‘Killing Veerappan.’

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam was planned to be a bilingual at the start. But now the makers have dropped the idea citing time constraints. Instead it will be dubbed in to Tamil now. Mahesh Babu will still dub for his character of the Tamil version.

The bilingual is planned to increases Mahesh’s market there but shooting for both the versions may make it difficult for Summer release and so the idea is dropped. The next schedule of the film will happen in RFC from 29th.

After that schedule, they will fly to Ooty for a major schedule from December 10th. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are playing the female leads in this film. Srikanth Addala who delivered a super hit to Mahesh with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is hoping to recreate the magic once again.

Statements from writer Sukumar and director Palnati Surya Pratap are quite attention grabbing because they both are firmly pleading that ‘Kumari 21 F’ is a bold story written by Sukku based on his real time life experiences during college days. In fact, Sukumar has experienced a character like Kumari in his college life and shocking incidents there of connected with her are just given a screen representation.

However, critics from one more side are providing strong references from ‘Lila Says’ and ‘Secret In Their Eyes’ copy-pasted by Sukumar in ‘Kumari 21 F.’ The debate of plagiarism and original creativity might go on for few more weeks but the overall Box Office result matters the most. Collections for ‘Kumari’ were reported to be super strong on weekend and house-fulls recorded in almost all centers.

Whatever might be the Sukumar’s real intention, his aim to succeed at Box Office is finally realized. ‘Kumari 21 F’ is considered as one of the decent youthful hits in recent times making sure that money will be minted for few more weeks till the real threats arrive.

At a tender age of 21, the stiff criticism and sky rocketing expectations from Fans have put Akkineni Akhil under volumes of stress. Commercially disastrous result of ‘Akhil’ has also put the youngster in further chaotic situation and he seems to have understood the dynamic filmy equations with the very first assignment. Of course, his age and experiences aren’t matching but that is how a super star is born.

While some say, he should pick a youthful love story with refreshing subject, some others recommended him to follow the same mass, action genre where he is best and capable at. Now, the real test begins for Akhil.

The young actor Nikhil has created a space for himself in the Telugu Cinema. Though he took a little while after his debut super hit Happy Days, Nikhil was super fast in creating a niche for himself. His next flick is going on floors from December second week.

After Shankarabharanam a comedy thriller releasing on Decmber 4th, Nikhil would be shooting for this yet to be titled film being directed by Tiger fame VI Anand. Though the genre of this Anand-Nikhil film is yet to be known, it’s announced that Nikhil in this flick would be romancing three heroines.

Tapsee and Avika Gore have already signed the film and this is the first time that Nikhil would be paring with an actress of Tapsee’s class and that shows what potential Nikhil is up for now. The other one being Avika, The third heroine is yet to be picked but if you have any wild guesses it could be true, Yes Swathi Reddy is under consideration.

Eccentric filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma never ever gives cliche statements. But perhaps for the first time, he said that his upcoming film is completely different in his entire career. Although this is a kinda cliche statement in the film industry as every other filmmaker says this ahead of their film release, considering that this has come from RGV, many are wondering what makes ‘Killing Veerappan’ so different in RGV’s career.

“So far, I’ve made several films on gangsters, factionism, and horror films. But making a film on Veerappan is so special and different in my entire career. He was the most wanted criminal and the manhunt carried for him was the Asia’s largest manhunt,” said RGV.

Giving a peep into the film, the auteur of Satya, Sarkaar said, “Killing Veerappan is not biopic of Veerappan. The film is behind the story of how Veerappan is killed. There is a lot of effort put in by police officials to do this operation successful. They have worked for over 8 months. It’s very interesting and less-known story which I wanted to tell.”

Admitting that the making of the Killing Veerappan costed him a bomb, Varma didn’t reveal more details. The movie is going to release on December 4.

Indian cinema lovers who have caught bond in the last weekend are shocked and disappointed. While expectations are riding high on latest bond movie “Spectre”, the first two days of collection of the film has touched 15 crores ‘gross’ in India on par with previous Bond movie “Spectre”. But audiences are not happy with the film anyway.

“Spectre” is a bond movie that deals with a killer assassin group and sums up that all the previous villains of Daniel Craig are members of this particular group. While the story looks interesting, there are no regular action elements where James Bond will unleash terror on his opponents.

Initial action episode itself is dull and lifeless, while other seasonal episodes like Bond going to different countries are much sober and disappointing. At least, pre-climax stands out in a Bond movie, but here it’s not that much worthy. Even the climax sounds like an ordinary Indian masala film, neither having any logic nor any emotional twist.

Pattern of “Spectre” is same as all the 007 movies, but the conceiving of every action sequence and other key scenes is like a regular film with not much energy into it. One wonders why director Sam Mendes who made “Skyfall” earlier has picked up this slow and uncertain story for his second James Bond venture. What’s wrong Bond?

IIFA Utsavam is full of mega boosts at the moment. Already we’ve revealed that Mega hero Allu Sirish is trying his luck with the hosting of the event that will be held in Hyderabad. This first every southern version of IIFA Awards is having another mega reason to celebrate.
