Industry do not cares for Srihari family

Late Srihari is one actor who is close to every one in the industry. He belongs to no faction in Tollywood and used to have access to all the top stars. He used to do lot of charity back then and most of them with out any publicity.

But his family seem to be suffering from financial crunch since Srihari’s sudden demise. In a TV interview, his wife Shanti revealed how people who have to give Srihari money, are totally avoiding them now.

Even though she did not tell it directly, she hinted about no co-operation from any one in the industry. She also said there is no co-operation from Srihari’s family as well. Shanti is now trying to introduce their sons to film industry.

Rana, Trisha Together After Longtime

Tollywood alleged love birds Rana Daggubati and Trisha Krishnan were recently spotted together in Hyderabad at the premiere show of Kamal Haasan-Trisha’s Cheekati Rajyam.

The former love couple was seen chatting, laughing heartily at each other’s jokes throughout there. First Trisha came to the do followed by Rana. Rana, who came a while after the event began, went straight away to meet Trisha without wasting anytime.

This is not all. Rana apparently seen going back to Trisha lot of times as if he is following her. While the duo is seen into each other’s eyes, a blush was spotted on Trisha’s cheeks. Perhaps, this is first time both have met in public in Hyderabad after Trisha’s engagement with Varun Manian was broken.

Though the Rana, Trisha had denied their relation lot of times and maintained that they’re just ‘good friends’, the duo’s closeness has led to several speculations. The moot question is are they? or are theyn’t? This remains unanswered.

Narrating the tale of Bajirao Peshwa of the erstwhile Maratha empire in the 1700s, Bhansali created a terrific canvas to unveil the majestic Maratha look. It’s mesmerising that the war scenes featuring Bajirao (Ranvir Singh) and Mastani (Deepika Padukone) are as mesmerising and rustic as the beautiful chemistry between Bajirao and his wife Kashibhai (Priyanka Chopra).

Torn between wife Kashibhai and lover Mastani, Ranvir’s performance as seen in the trailer will makes you stand on the toes. Priyanka’s beautiful looks, Mastani’s painful expressions and warrior acts, are just magical.

Seems like Bhansali is on his way to stun the audiences with another marvel on the silver screen. As the trailer got released today evening, it created a storm everywhere for its magnificence.

Amala Not Yet Confirmed For ‘Sarada’

Chennai: Actress Amala Paul, who was rumoured to be part of Vishnu Manchu-starrer upcoming Telugu film “Sarada”, is yet to come on board the project, says its director G. Karthik Reddy.

“We’ve approached her and have also been in talks, but she’s yet to be confirmed. We also have two other actresses in mind. We plan to finalise the name in a week’s time,” Reddy told IANS.

Tipped to be an out-and-out entertainer, the film features Sonarika Bhadoria in the lead. The film, which has music by Anup Rubens, is being jointly produced by D. Kumar and P. Keshav Rao.

So right from the word go, Colors Swati was excited about Tripura, where in she played a spirit, in keeping with the latest trend. Of course, she worked hard, did loads of promotion and even the audiences thought she will live in the character of a spirit thanks to her big eyes.

But again, the film flopped at the box office and goes without saying that Swati is now pretty disappointed. Also, the fact that the film had Naveen Chandra as the hero also did not help Swati or the film.

Though hits and flops are part of one’s career, Swati is now considering quitting films as she hasn’t been getting very many offers which any ways. Talk is that she is planning to get married and settling down.

If latest reports are anything to go by, versatile actor Prakash Raj would be playing onscreen dad for Niharika Konidela in her debut film.

Considering that Prakash Raj in the past played dad for several popular heroines like Shriya Saran (Nuvve Nuvve), Trisha (Akasamantha) and gave life to the roles, Prakash has been zeroed in on for Niharika movie as well. Touted to be an eternal love story, the movie has Naga Shourya in the lead role and it’s directed by Rama Raju of Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu.

Currently, the film’s pre-production work is going on at brisk pace.The yet-to-be-titled movie is jointly produced by a regional news channel in association with producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy.

He Let Go Of Rajini For Mahesh

It was reported some time back that Ratnavel is the cinematographer of Mahesh’s upcoming film Brahmotsavam. The film is scheduled for release in summer of 2016 and the shooting is currently on. However, while having a top cinematographer is good news for the team, Ratnavel himself had to make a tough decision to continue doing the film.

As a rule, Ratnavel only accepts one film at a time, though many top cinematographers manage clash of dates by using assistants. But Ratnavel insists on being there for each and every scene and because of this commitment, he had to let go a rather prestigious project. Shankar had offered him Robo 2 which stars Rajinikanth, but Ratnavel had to turn down the offer due to Brahmotsavam.

Surely, a tough decision and a mark of professionalism of Ratnavel, which makes him one of the top cinematographers in the country right now.

Mahesh – Murugudoss combination for Ugadi

Our readers are aware that Superstar Mahesh Babu is going to act in a film directed by Top Tamil director, AR Murugudoss very soon. With the super success of Ghajini in all the languages it is made, Murugudoss is a national brand now.

Mahesh was impressed with a line narrated by ARM and gave green signal for the project. The film will have its launch for Ugadi the next year. The regular shooting will however begin only after the release of Brahmotsavam.

Senior Producer Dil Raju is likely to produce the movie. Murugudoss may make this film simultaneously in Tamil with some other hero. The makers are currently in talks with Bollywood beauties, Alia Bhatt and Shradda Kapoor to play the female lead. More details of this project will be out very soon.

Modi Government Meaningless: Kavitha

Telangana Rashtra Samithi Nizamabad MP K Kavitha on Friday lashed out at the Centre saying that the BJP-led NDA Government was offering a ‘meaningless’ governance. Talking to the media at the Secretariat here, Kavitha said the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre was showing political ‘vendetta’ towards Telangana.

Kavitha rebuked the Centre for giving Rs 8,000 crore to Andhra Pradesh and denying funds to the Telangana State. She also flayed NDA Government for ignoring the poor in the newly formed State of Telangana by giving it only10,000 houses while giving some two lakh houses for Andhra Pradesh under housing for poor across the nation.

The Union Housing Ministry was making deliberate attempts to belittle Telangana State by denying its share, she deplored. The Centre is supposed to give adequate number of houses to all the States, she said. “We the MPs will raise the issue of injustice being meted out to Telangana in Parliament session”, she added.

Telangana Govt’s Grand Plans For IIFA

Ever since the formation of the new state, the Telangana government has been trying its best to woo the pan-Indian entertainment sector. In its latest and an ambitious move, the Telangana government has apparently taken over the responsibility of organizing the first ever International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards Utsavam, a celebration of excellence in South Indian Cinema.

The first IIFA Utsavam will take place at the Gachibowli Stadiu in Hyderabad from 4th to 6th December, With a move to glorify the glitz and glamour of Hyderabad and Telangana, the government assigned the event management responsibility to a popular Telangana based event management company called RK Media, which earlier handled the promotions of Akhil, Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) etc.

Already, the curtain raiser event that took place in the first week of November to announce the December fest was attended by stars like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Tamannaah, with Kamal Haasan being the member of the advisory board. The T-government is planning to make IIFA Utsavam one of the country’s biggest film events, with all the leading celebrities from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam industries gracing it.

In Nagarjuna’s words, ‘IIFA Utsavam would promote South Indian cinema on the international platform which will help showcase South Indian cinema.’

NTR Trust, A Big Asset For TDP

The NTR Trust which is being run by TDP is all set to spread its wings in social service. Now, Nara Brahmani, the daughter-in-law of AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu and daughter of film star Balakrishna is all set to play a crucial role in the expansion of the trust’s welfare activities for the poor and needy.

Introducing various educational and developmental schemes to be run by the trust in the coming year, Nara Brahmani spoke at length at the TDP Bhavan a while ago. Explaining details about the trust’s educational wing, Brahmani said the trust will identify right candidates based on their merit and economic status and offer them not just highly qualified teachers but the trust will also provide them with infrastructure like books, study materials, library and preparatory rooms.

With a mission to support the poor students preparing for competitive exams like Group I & II and other bank related entrance exams, the trust will also offer free coaching for 60 students in each batch. Brahmani said each student shells out at least 50,000 in the market to prepare for such competitive exams, which they can avail for free at the NTR Trust.

The trust will not only limit itself to providing free coaching for competitive exams but will also organize 6 month intensive training workshops for skill development and will also help the candidates less experience in securing jobs in the government and corporate sector.

Brahmani further stated that the trust’s mission is to offer high standard education from KG to PG free of cost. Already, the trust is running the NTR Model School since 2005 for nearly 800 poor and needy students each year. Now, the trust plans to set up a junior girl’s college to empower women’s education. More colleges in Krishna and Warangal will be set up in the coming academic year, revealed Brahmani.

The NTR Trust is a great asset to the party even though it offers help to the poor and needy irrespective of the party’s political connections. No other parties have such a strong trust or an organization which empowers society and earn goodwill in turn.

Superb Openings for Kumari 21F

One more small film made its presence felt this year in Tollywood and it is the maiden production venture of director Sukumar, Kumari 21F. The movie which released yesterday had fantastic openings every where.

Youth had connected well to the youthful content in the film and DSP’s music took it to next level. The movie was the first choice in the six films that released on Friday. The collections of the film on day-1 are never heard before for a small budget rom-com.

If not for the heavy rains in South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, the collections would have been even higher. The movie will be a profitable venture to every one involved in the trade by the end of the first week itself.

Ram Charan in UV Creations Combo?

UV Creations is one of the fast emerging film production houses of Tollywood that has high success rate at the moment. The debut movie of the banner ‘Mirchi’ was a blockbuster. ‘Run Raja Run’ , ‘Jil’ and ‘Bhale Bhale Magadioy’ are the other hits and super hits from the banner.

According to the inside reports Mega Power Star Ram Charan is likely to work under UV Creations soon. Radhakrishna, who worked for ‘Jil’ movie in the same banner, will direct Ram Charan. More details on this interesting project will be out soon.

On the other side, Ram Charan’s new movie in the direction of Surender Reddy will go on floors in the second week of December. Currently, the pre production work is going on in rapid pace. As we know, this is going to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thani Oruvan’. Mega producer Allu Aravind and NV Prasad will produce the movie.
