While SS Rajamouli’s epic Baahubali continues to create several records, Rana Daggubati is first among its cast, crew to bag an international award. Recognising Rana’s acting prowess as baddie Bhallaladeva in Baahubali: The Beginning, Asia Vision Movie Awards is going to award Rana for his outstanding performance. The award will be given to Rana in Dubai on Dec 2.

Sharing the great news, delighted Rana took to his micro-blogging page and wrote, “Getting an award for #Bahubali at #AsiaVisionMovieAwards 2016 on 2nd December in Dubai. Happiness !!  #bhallaladeva  #AsiaVisionMovieAwards” (sic)

Meanwhile, the team Baahubali too proud of its Bhallaladeva getting an international recognition. They feel that this is a tip of an ice berg and many more such recognitions, awards are going to come to the team Baahubali and its maker Rajamouli.

Manchu Manoj, who had been doing out and out commercial films, is soon to be seen in a different genre. The film Shourya is being directed by Dasarath with Regina Cassandra as the female lead.

“I am playing a software engineer; this is a complete love-thriller,” says Manoj, adding, “I did more mass films till now and this is a new genre for me as well as for director Dasarath. He usually makes films on family relationships and bonds, but now he has come up with this beautiful love story.” says Manoj.

Most of the shooting is over and the actor says that the remaining will be done by the first week of December. The film will be released in January.

With Varun Tej being appreciated for his work in Kanche, his next film Loafer, directed by Puri Jagannath, is already doing good business. A source says that the film’s rights for the Nizam area have been sold for Rs 7 crore.

“This is a very high amount for an upcoming actor like Varun Tej who is only on his third film. If he continues to experiment like this, he is sure to make a mark soon,” says a source.

Abhishek Pictures, which had distributed Srimanthudu, has picked up the rights for Loafer in the Nizam area. Disha Patani is playing the female lead and the film is touted to be a typical Puri Jagannath potboiler.

Tollywood star Ram Charan’s ‘TruJet’ airlines achieved the dubious distinction of topping all the other airlines in India, in terms of cancellation of flight services. The low-cost airlines was launched just four months ago amid much fanfare in July 2015. TruJet airlines cancelled 14.95 per cent of flights in October alone, the highest among all other domestic airlines.

The second place went to Air Costa airlines, which cancelled 6.87 per cent flight services. Even in terms of number of complaints received from passengers, TruJet stood at the third place in the entire country.
Ram Charan’s TruJet continues to face the wrath of passengers over cancellation of flights ever since its launch in July 2015.

TruJet is now trying to attract the passengers with special offers on ticket price concessions that were offered while it was launched. Let’s see, whether this would change the fortunes of the TruJet.

The much talked about ‘Kumari 21 F’ which received unique ratings from all the so called top critics in Tollywood finally is coming under the hammer. Well, there is nothing much to admonish Sukku because he is a proven skilled writer. Bringing in Telugu nativity is the only best he does for originals because ‘Kumari 21 F’ stands nowhere near to the original classics, said a thorough world cinema follower. Now, Sukumar might have to answer them in coming up press meets and success meets. Sukumar himself being a follower of pedagogic principles, how he forgot to give due respect and credits for the originals?

Adult comedy served in the name of youthful romance has become a deep rooted phenomenon in Tollywood, thanks to the trend initiated by Maruthi and took forward by many of his followers. Although, many of the small film makers got their jobs done and producers happily enjoyed the profits in this genre but time has come for making some major changes to this existing trend and the process is initiated by Sukumar.

‘Kumari 21 F’ is completely a teenage/youth centric film which speaks on attitudes of teenagers towards love and lust or the way they turn into criminals when side tracked for sexual comforts. Though, it’s hard to find someone like Hebah Patel character in real life but Raj Tharun’s love track is surely an easy connect with every teenager in early immature stage. Till this point, ‘Kumari 21 F’ is the usual adult game of love served in the form of youthful entertainment.

What makes Sukku different from other regular directors in this genre is the way he visualized a hard hitting or dark shaded climax. Generally, Tamil directors adhere to this kind of formula which rarely gets recognition in Telugu. Think different is what Sukku preaches here for budding writers and dark themes might become the new trend in Tollywood, if at all ‘Kumari 21 F’ succeeds extremely well at Box Office.

Who else other than Junior NTR can know every in and out in director Sukumar after working on ‘Nananku Prematho’ from a very long time? Though their film is due for release in coming Pongal season, the latest release from Sukumar Writings that is ‘Kumari 21 F’ has left a deep impact on NTR just like what common audience are feeling about.

To our official reports, Sukku screened an exclusive premiere show of ‘Kumari 21 F’ for Junior NTR day before yesterday that is one day before the actual release. This is not just the NTR opinion, in fact Telugu audience are moved by the unfamiliar and bold offering from Sukku.

This is nothing like downgrading or looking down at ‘Bahubali’ as inferior but for sure ‘Bajirao Mastani’ trailer released on Youtube is mind blowing. The epic love story of warrior Peshwa, Bajirao is here presenting the world audience to witness the power and glory of India’s greatest empires.

The vision of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the way each scene shown in the trailer are to be analyzed, it’s just breath taking. There are no words to brief the creative inputs dumped by Bhansali and his too good of artistic team because each visual is stunning and sure to leave a delightful impact. Presence of Ranveer Singh, Priyabka Chopra and Deepika Padukone made the entire show much more colorful with their exemplary performances hinting on the powerful content scripted into a magnum opus.

Recreating Maratha Empire period was one of the biggest challenges before Bhansali team and the grandeur they have crafted left each one of us spellbound. Bhansali and Sanchit Balhara’s music is also just haunting. With Bhansali’s dream project getting a final shape, there is a signature of his own style stamped on every frame. Just hold on your nerves till December 18th for this world of visuals to take over.

Vamsi and Pramod, best friends of hero Prabhas, have started the banner UV Creations and produced couple of hits like Mirchi and Run Raja Run in the first stint itself. Running high with the success of their co-production Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi, these two now wants to make the biggest projects with big heroes.

Probably for the first time UV Creations will be entering the big league as they are getting ready to make a movie with none other than Ram Charan. Though director Radha Krishna has disappointed them with Jil, these makers have belief in him and now got impressed by a new script he narrated.

Finding that Ram Charan will be the right person to star in the film, they approached the Mega Powerstar and got nod for a project but script isn’t approved yet.

While Charan got excited by basic story line, he’s yet to get a hearing of fully developed script. On the other hand, he’s waiting for Thani Oruvan remake to go on floors under Surender Reddy’s direction.

Sukumar is extremely a talented writer and Telugu audience had thorough idea on what kind of subjects he loves to pick up. In fact, ace directors like Rajamouli were also shocked witnessing the eccentric skill in Sukku after watching his ‘Arya, Jagadam.’ Such was the name and fame Sukku enjoys in film circles.

As a director he might have failed with last outing ‘1 Nenokkadine’ but this did not stop him from bagging dates of Junior NTR for ‘Nannaku Prematho’ currently in final stages of production. Apparently, Sukumar’s new movie ‘Kumari 21 F’ is hot topic in Telugu film audience. Sukku’s new banner named as Sukumar Writings is associated in production of this youthful flick made so bold with Sukumar’s aggressive writing.

There are different ways of expressing or presenting a special feeling of love. The way Sukku chose for ‘Kumari 21 F’ has left many of critics in a shocking mood. There was a bold approach in penning high dosed adult content based characterization for the title role of Kumari done by Hebah Patel. After a superb start for Sukumar Writings with this flick, we can hope for many more such novel subjects from this banner.

Heroes hosting shows is something we don’t see regularly on Telugu screen like our Bollywood bandwagon. This mega hero however wants to break the ice and prove that he is a master of many talents. He’s none other than Allu Sirish.

For the upcoming IIFA awards for South film industries, Sirish has decided to take on the Telugu segment of the awards. He wants compete with the likes of Ranbir Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan who rock these award events with their rib tickling comedy, sense of humour and wonderful presence.

When quizzed about it, Sirish said, “Happy to share that I will be hosting the IIFA Utsavam (Telugu segment). Wanna make the event fun & entertaining”.

On the films front, Sirish is busy wrapping his upcoming movie under Parasuram’s direction, tentatively titled Chuttalabbayi. Heroine Lavanya Tripathi is for the first time sharing screen space with the Allu hero.

Actor Nara Rohit is on a signing spree. Rohit, who is presently working simultaneously on two films, has signed another project on the dotted line. For this, Rohit teamed up with Karthikeya proudcer Srinivas. Titled as Kathalo Rajakumari, the movie will introduce first-timer director Mahesh Surapaneni. Maestro Ilaiayaraaja is going to render tunes for this film. The movie is said to be a novel one with a different characterization of hero.

The movie will see new heroine Namita Pramod romancing Rohit. Jayesh Nair is going to wield the camera. Makers are planning to start shoot from January.

Presently, Rohit is working rigorously on Savitri and Raja Cheyyi Vesthe. Rohit has a special fetish for selecting unique, good titles. With his latest being christened as Kathalo Rajakumari, he once again proved that he is best at titles.
