Charan now in Dilemma!

Share

ram-charan1447669284On one side, he has a film with his maternal uncle and on the other, he has been offered a film by his paternal uncle. Of course, it is known that he will be doing both of them. While Allu Arvind’s film will be the remake of Thani Oruvan, Pawan Kalyan’s film will be directed by Trivikram. So, now the big question is whose film will Charan do to begin with. Tamil film Thani Oruvan rights have been procured by Danayya who was supposed to make the film in the first place.

Then, Allu Arvind got into the picture and he will now produce Charan’s film. But for that, he will have to spend nearly Rs 10 crores, including rights, remuneration for director Surender Reddy and getting someone to translate and rewrite the film in Telugu. Since Allu Arvind plans his film carefully, it is said that he has also asked his team to look out for a story which can be bought for Rs 1 crore. In that case, the film is bound to get delayed, as getting a story could take time.

Meanwhile, Trivikram could complete A… Aa and he will be done with the film by the end of December this year. So, Charan is in a dilemma about which film to start next.

Akhil Has Two Options In Front Of Him

Share

akil23

“Akhil” is over, so what is on cards for Akhil Akkineni for his next? It took nearly one and half year to finalise a director for his launch and that’s how they have founded VV Vinayak. And now, it’s time for the youngster to pick his second director.

As Vinayak is ruled out for the second film, surprisingly Akhil has no star-director ready at the moment to direct him. This is because all the directors are busy with their respective films. Puri Jagan is moving to Rogue, Rajamouli is locked with Baahubali 2, Trivikram’s A..Aa will take three more months to complete, while Sukumar is yet to finish Nannaku Prematho. Coming to mass directors, Boyapati Sreenu will take time to wrap Sarainodu. Other than Sreenu Vytla whose Bruce Lee tanked recently, no star director is free at the moment.

That pushes Akhil into having only two options, because if he wants a star director immediately then Sreenu Vytla will be the bet. Other option is, going with a some creative director like Krish, Vikram K Kumar or any new one. We have to see which option Akhil will pick once he comes back from Goa, wrapping his short holiday.

Modi should apologise Shah Rukh

Former diplomat and Politician cum columnist Manishankar Aiyar picking back on the whole Shah Rukh episode said the Bihar election might have lulled away BJP’s comments over Shah Rukh Khan but Modi should apologies to Shah Rukh. BJP General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargia called Shah Rukh a Traitor with aatma in Pakistan and their MP Yogi Adityanath said Shah Rukh was welcome to go to Pakistan as his language was different to Hafiz Saeed.

All this was said against Shah Rukh as he spoke of the growing intolerance in India and the Award Wapasi movement then on the go during his interview with NDTV on the occasion of his Birthday. Shah Rukh openly spoke of his disdain in having to prove his patriotism time and again just because he was a Muslim. Shah Rukh also said he has every right to call himself an Indian and is more Privileged to be an Indian as both his father and grand father fought for the freedom of India.

Manishankar Aiyar asking for Modi’s apology to shah Rukh said Most Voluble, Modi and his twitter crowd is as quite as they can ever be, because at their heart their thinking is no different. He also stated that their school of though and brought up is all about calling and making India a Hinduthva country and disliking Muslims. He further said that’s the reason the sang Parivar and the BJP draws equivalence between Muslims and Pakisthani despite one’s nationality and Patriotism.

Stating all the aforementioned Manishankar Aiyar said “Modi should be in the lead to apologies Shah Ruhk Khan, after all don’t  Shah Rukh Khan’s Follwers and fans outnumber  Modi’s”.

Was Bala Prasanth’s death the outcome of his car Parked in the Basement of his Mistress’ house?  Yes, says the police enquiry reports. Its known that he died trying to flee away from his Mistresses house but nobody knew how the mistress’ kith got to know of Prasanth’s presence in the house.

The enquiry reveals that Prasanth’s Skoda car parked in the basement of his Mistress house lead them into tracing out his presence in the house.  When the anonymous woman’s brother called her Husband who was away informing  him that his sister was all fine by herself , the husband asked his Brother In law to check the apartment basement for any new car parked in it . The brother in law told him of the Skoda Car parked in.

So the mistress’ husband called up his sister and Brother in law to go to his place. When they knocked the door of the Mistress, seemingly annoyed mistress slit her hand and was rushed to hospital. The police say her mobile phone had a message delivered to Prasanth reading ‘please escape somehow’ and had a reply from him reading ‘will do’.  The accident that lead to Prasanth’s death happened when he was trying to escape from the house with the help of a pipeline.

Micromax Canvas Lapbook: Portable pleasure

Share

16ITEM 1_ MICROMAX CANVAS LAPBOOK_0_0

To be productive on the hoof, presents a peculiar challenge: If you go for pocket sized, feather weight devices, you severely limit the applications that you can port. If you want the full desktop experience on the move, be prepared for some heavy lifting. I was elated, when smart phones and tablets came with quad and octa-core chips under the belt and the consequent ability to do a lot of PC things — word processing, spread sheets, presentations….. But the euphoria was premature. The shrunken keypads challenged my slow and fat fingers. I longed for a light weight compute device with enough processing muscle for a standard Office suite and a standard keyboard — at a price that is not too far from that of a phone or tablet.

I have been looking in vain for a year now — till, this Diwali, Micromax answered my prayers with what a category they call a LapBook: a hybrid of laptop and notebook that is light enough to carry on tours — 1.3 kg — yet with a 11.6 inch 720 p HD screen and good twin speaker sound for viewing movies — with the latest Windows 10 OS pre installed. I should mention upfront that the asking price of the Micromax, Canvas Lapbook L1161 was so attractive — Rs 13,999 (with Rs 2,000 cashback for SBI Card payments) — that I did something I rarely do: ordered one from Snapdeal based only on the specs — and received it in 72 hours flat.

The sturdy packaging, decent sized screen and the standard keyboard were tops on my wish list — so no regrets on that score; but let me level with you on the pluses and minuses after a week’s use: The quad Atom chip is as good as any notebook. The RAM is 2G — par for the course; but the Flash storage is just 32 GB –effectively 28 GB out of which 10 GB has gone in preloaded software like the Windows OS. What is left — 18 GB –is insufficient to load any serious application. I added the max external storage it can take — a micro SD card of 64 GB — and now save all my work on it. The 5000 mAh battery is good for about 10 hours. The front camera is just VGA, not even a megapixel — most phones have better MP ratings.

I am thrilled that an Indian maker has stolen a march over so many MNC brands who, three months after the launch of Windows 10 are still palming off Windows 7 machines, leaving the upgrade to you. Microsoft, said at launch that all major outlets and chain electronics shops will do a legal upgrade for free. Forget it; not happening. The advantage of Win 10 is that if you are cool with Win 8, it looks even better; but if like me, you are used to Win 7, you can switch to a look and feel of the classic Windows.

On the downside, the Office 365 is only a trial version and after a few months, you have to subscribe at Rs 420/month — or find an Open Source clone on the web. With 2 USB ports and a HDMI port, Bluetooth as well as Wi-Fi, you have enough external connection muscle to match any laptop. I found the Windows 10 startup and shutdown incredibly fast compared to many Android tablets — but you have to keep remembering that that is a device that has very little space on board — everything you need, you grab from the cloud. That said, the L1161 seems to be very good value for money and a sturdy travel companion to boot. If you want a touch screen, The Canvas Laptab LT777 with almost similar specs costs Rs 17,999.
