Modi Is Prime Target For TRS In Warangal Bypoll !
The ruling TRS has stepped up ante against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in its campaigning for Warangal Lok Sabha bypoll.TRS ministers, MPs and MLAs are targeting Modi more than the candidates who are in the fray from BJP and Congress parties. IT minister K T Rama Rao said Modi is the reason for several problems being faced by Telangana now as the central government headed by him was not allotting funds to TS. Nizamabad MP K Kavita went a step ahead and said Modi was showing discrimination against Telangana and obstructing its development by not fulfilling the promises made by the Centre during bifurcation of AP.
Karimnagar MP Vinod said Modi was neglecting people here and was only interested in touring foreign countries. Political analysts say the party’s campaign strategy had changed after BJP received a drubbing in Bihar elections recently. Until then, TRS considered Congress as its main rival but with fire accident in Congress earlier candidate Siricilla Rajaiah’s house which claimed the lives of his daughter in law and three grand children and Rajaiah and his family facing allegations of dowry harassment and domestic violence against her prompting her for suicide, Congress image took a beating and stands no where in the election.
This left, TRS to focus on BJP candidate Devaiah. TRS leadership feels that with Bihar elections it became evident that Modi is facing severe anti-incumbency wave and it wants to exploit this situation to their advantage by attacking Modi to attract voters towards TRS. Let’s see how this strategy of TRS works.
TRS ready to accept Warangal by-polls as referendum: Talasani
Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi was willing to accept by-elections for Warangal Lok Sabha seat as referendum on State Government’s performance if BJP too treats the by-polls as referendum on Central Government’s performance.
Speaking to media persons in Hanamkonda on Friday, Talasani challenged the BJP leaders to accept the Warangal by-polls as referendum on the BJP Government’s performance at the Centre. He said that the TRS Government has been setting new records of development in the country. He said nine-hour power supply during day time would be ensured for farmers from next March. He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has been striving hard to develop the State. Talasani expressed confidence of victory of TRS candidate P. Dayakar in the by-elections.
KCR orders official celebration of Christmas
Telangana Government has decided to celebrate Christmas at the official level on par with Ramzan, Bathukamma and Bonalu festivals. Senior IAS officer Raymond Peter and AK Khan will soon hold a meeting with the religious leaders of Christian community. They Are Routine, But Created Records
Routine plots, known emotions and simple moment all over, but these films have registered thumping box office collections in no time. At a time when Telugu films with routine content, like Aagadu and Bruce Lee are straight away getting rejected by audiences, how come movies like Prem Ratan Dhay Payo and Vedalam are creating records?
In Telugu we have seen Chiranjeevi acting in nearly 3-4 films while other heroes also picked similar story line that of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. A hero, a simple middle class guy, takes the place of a rich brat who looks exactly like him, and teaches that family a lesson.
Except for the fact that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is setup in a royal family with 100 crores budget around, story is very routine and screenplay is slow. Still, the film made 40 crores gross at box office on first day, a sort of record for Salman Khan.
In Kollywood, we have seen Ajith’s Vedhalam releasing on Diwali eve and the film touched 50 crore gross mark in 3 days, becoming a biggest earner in the hero’s career. The story is all about sister sentiment that we have seen in numerous films and there is one hyper type heroine to fall for the hero. And Ajith’s stardom is what pulled this flick to a big hit, though critics have nailed it at parts.
Maybe we have to attribute the talent of directors to conceive engaging films with routine content that are giving other tinsel towns good hits.
Unusual Combination At Wrong Time
In what is seen as an unusual combination, ‘flop’ director Teja is likely to team up with ‘flop’ actor Rajasekhar for an upcoming film. While the discussions are still going on and expected to be finalised soon, Angry Man Rajasekhar is said to be keen to do a film with Teja as the director had delivered several hits in the past.
The film will be produced by none other than actress-director Jeevitha. Of late, director Teja is on a downward spiral. Teja, who lost his Midas touch, is going through a drought of ideas as his recent films turned out to be inedible, inept and most of them are Box Office duds.
Films such as Hora Hori, 1000 Abaddalu, Neeku Naaku have tanked without a trace. On other side, the way Rajasekhar’s career is progressing too is no different. His last film Gaddam Gang was a disaster despite being remake of a Tamil superhit.
While few of his films (Patta Pagalu) haven’t seen the light of the day yet, Rajasekhar is now gearing up to work with Teja. Let’s wait and see whether this flop director, flop hero combination works and bail out each other or not.
Baseless Rumours On Pawan’s Expenses
Since yesterday, the only topic for opposition parties is the ‘chartered flight’ of Air Costa used by Pawan Kalyan to reach Vijayawada and fly back. It’s being publicized that Andhra Pradesh government has arranged this flight at the people’s burden of revenue-deficit state.
Is this true? Highly placed sources revealed that when BJP MLA and Minister Kamineni Srinivas has met Pawan Kalyan about this much needed meeting with AP Chief Minister, Pawan took Naidu’s appointment from the afternoon and there were no flights to Vijayawada at that time.
Jumping into scene, Pawan’s close aide and producer Sharat Marar is heard arranging a special flight from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, at the expense of Pawan’s office only.
Due to some work scheduled in Hyderabad from evening, the actor-politician has to come back at any cost, for that reason he has opted for a special flight. With no other reason in hand to blame the ruling party and its allies, probably the opposition are making an issue out of this. Otherwise, rather cooperating with state government to build a better capital in record time to help AP people, what’s this ranting for?
Daughter Scores Over Dad
This Diwali was special for Kamal Haasan as he and his daughter competed at the box office. While Kamal had a release in Thoongavanam, his daughter had a release in Vedalam.Well, heavy rains in Tamil Nadu did not stop their fans from turning up in large numbers for the shows. However, as per trade reports, Shruti Haasan’s Vedalam has scored over Kamal Haasan’s film.
Vedalam stars Ajith in the lead and it has Lakshmi Rai and Soori playing important characters. On the other hand, Thoongavanam has Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Sampath and Kishore playing the lead. While Vedalam was released in 520 screens, Kamal’s film was released in 375 screens. Vedalam which opened to good reviews grossed Rs 15.5 crores in Tamil Nadu, while Thoongavanam managed Rs 4 crores, say trade analysts.
In the past, Kamal and daughter clashed with Uttama Villain and Gabbar Is Back. At the time, Kamal’s win made more money especially in the US when compared to Gabbar Is Back which starred Akshay in the lead. However, this time, the clash is interesting as both of them compete with same language films unlike last time.
An app you must taste
Tastemade is a fun app that gives you a step-by-step process for making professional-looking food or location videos. The videos are only a minute long, but they give you a great platform to sing praises of your favourite restaurants and hot spots. Tastemade isn’t just about making video reviews; it’s also about finding new spots from other users. Since the app has been available on both iOS and Android for some time, it has a large catalogue of reviews to explore. The best way to get started with Tastemade is to browse videos made by other people. Watching a few videos will give you a sense of the pacing and help you come up with ideas for good shots. You’ll quickly see that some people have a flair for being on camera, but even when they don’t, the app’s step-by-step process manages to make just about anyone look good.
You start by entering the name of the location or restaurant, then pick from several different themes that include different fonts and background music choices. After the title and theme, you’ll need to shoot a 10-second video where you introduce the location, followed by five shorter clips that show the restaurant’s ambiance and style. At that point, you return to the screen for 15 seconds to talk more about the dishes you got, then shoot an additional five clips of you and your friends enjoying the food. Finally, a quick 10-second video wraps up your Tastemade video.
What’s cool about Tastemade is you don’t have to worry too much about making a mistake, because you can always delete the last scene and shoot it again if you need another take. Tastemade is a refreshingly fun and unique app that’s great for talking about your favourite spots while finding new ones from other users.
