Film celebrities often request their fans to not smoke, at the start of their films. But how many of them have really quit smoking in real life? This super star of Indian films is still an avid smoker, no matter what the occasion is.

Walking in a black kurta and waving to cameras, King Khan has stunned everyone couple of days back at a party in Mumbai. When he stepped down his luxury vehicle at Amitabh Bachhan’s Diwali party, SRK was seen holding a lit cigarette in his hand.

By the time he reached the main gate of Big B’s palatial home Jalsa, Mr Khan was received by Chota Bachhan, and here too our Dilwale star hasn’t given up his cigarette. That explains, a smoke is still hot favourite of Bollywood Baadshah.

Well, Prabhas is the most eligible bachelor of Tollywood along with Rana. But more than Rana, Prabhas’ wedding or match-making happens consistently.For almost two to three years now, there has been constant buzz about Prabhas’ wedding, right from what type of girl he might like, to what his mom wants, etc, everything has been discussed online.

And in keeping with this tradition, some pranksters put out stories about Prabhas’ wedding and even circulated a picture of a girl who was called the ‘lucky lady’. The girl in question or in the picture was mentioned as someone hailing from Bheemavaram and it was said that both families have known each other for long.Now, naturally, this irritated the family and Prabhas’ uncle, Krishnama Raju, who is now his mentor, lashed out at people who are spreading such false rumours.

He made it clear that the news of Prabhas’ ‘online wedding’ was totally baseless and added that such rumours hadn’t popped up for the first time. Krishnam Raju also made it clear that their family will inform the media as when any new developments takes place.

Going by the current trends happening in Telugu Film Industry, it seems like internal family wars are going to be unstoppable here. Especially when there is an argument that outsiders are not finding enough theatres and chances to make it big in the industry, analysts feel that even the family-backed heroes might slip into trouble soon.

As we confirmed already, NTR’s Nannaku Prematho and Balayya’s Dictator are arriving on January 8th and 14th respectively. Two biggies from the same Nandamuri family are arriving in just a week gap, and 30% of fans are unlikely to pick both. Because it’s the question of money for many middle-class people and C-centre folks. They will be picking only those films that give them maximum satisfaction for ticket money.

Even family audiences will also think in similar way. After Balayya recedes from acting career, then Mokshagna is likely to enter the scene. Then we will have Jr NTR, Mokshagna, Kalyan Ram fighting from Nandamuri family for placements. So, the one who delivers better content will have more chances of succeeding than everyone.

Coming to Mega family, this set of heroes enjoy the biggest threat from each other. Barring Pawan Kalyan, we have Charan, Bunny, Saidharam, Varun Tej and Sirish in the game. As these heroes are continuously making films, at one point films of their cousins are likely to clash with them. If arrangements are made for two weeks gap, no doubt the same middle class money troubles will play the bigger role and fans are likely to wait and watch the best film among the two.

Same is the case with Akkineni family who has Nagarjuna, Chaitu, Akhil and sometimes Sushanth in the race. With this family inclined towards romantic films most of time, their producers might eye similar seasons, making the Brand Akkineni lock horns with each other.

Another scenario is that, if not family wars, wars with friends are also inevitable. Charan is likely to face Akhil and Rana one day; Bunny might get Prabhas in his way; and so on. With two many heroes running for the show, these wars can’t be avoided. Even if they plan very cautiously, our ways of missing release dates, delaying production and unnecessary postponements will lead only to a fight at box office.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is always open to do experiments. The Attarintiki Daredi actress is all set to go deglam in her next. Sam, who usually plays ultra glamorous, stylish roles, for a change decided to do a non-glam role. She will be essaying the role of a slum dweller in Vada Chennai. Buzz is that Sam has signed the project on the dotted line and going to join the shoot soon.

Touted to be a two-part film featuring Dhanush in the lead role, veteran Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran is helming the film. Set against the backdrop of North Madras, the film is billed to chronicle three decades in the life of a gangster.

What’s more? Samantha is going to dub in her own voice for the film. This is not all. She will be seen speaking in a local Tamil accent. Since she is essaying the role of a slum girl, she will be seen with a tan and no make-up.

It is an open secret that actor Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha are not on healthy terms with the Mega family. In the past, the clashes between both the families were quite evident and were made public during the initial stages of Chiru’s PRP. But looks like the animosity has cooled down a bit on either sides.

Recently, Rajasekhar and Jeevitha were invited for the Diwali celebrations in New Jersey, USA. The celebrations were organised by the Telugu Kala Samithi has  in America. Rajasekhar participated in the event enthusiastically and even enthralled everyone as he danced to some of the hit numbers from Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s films.

Interestingly, both Jeevitha and Rajasekhar made sarcastic comments on Pawan Kalyan, when the latter imitated Rajasekhar’s trademark dance step from the superhit ‘Rose Rose Roja Puvva’ song in his blockbuster film Gabbar Singh.

Rajasekhar’s daughters Sivani and Sivathmika, actors Madhavilatha and Sudha also took part in the Telugu Kala Samithi Diwali celebrations.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil may be heading towards a big disaster in USA. The movie had a good start in Overseas by collecting $90,268 from 117 screens for the Premieres there. However the collections are on a down slide, once the negative reviews of the movie are out.

The movie had collected $22K from 104 locations there on Wednesday and on Thursday, it had collected paltry $6,855 from 72 screen which is alarming. The movie was bought for a whopping 4 Crore in Overseas, which is highest ever for a debutante.

But it looks like the movie is heading towards a big disaster. If the film recovers over the weekend, there is at least an out side chance of minimizing the losses.

Akhil who has debuted with a bang-on film is said to be very happy with the reviews that his first film has got. Though the film has been having mixed reviews, Akhil’s performance has been appreciated and he is said to be very happy with all the positive talk.Apparently, he confided that he reached his goal with his very first film as no review has written anything negative about him, though many had pointed the flaws in direction.

Well, right now, Akhil and family are happy and he is said to be considering his second film. Since he now knows his strengths and weaknesses, Akhil will be doing films that will suit his age and image, it is being said.

Meanwhile, the film’s unit is confident that the film will pick up gradually.

There have been reports in the media that producer DVV Danayya has promised to return money to the buyers that have lost lot of money on his film Bruce Lee.Bruce Lee has collected a worldwide share of around 40 crore in its full run falling far short of the pre release theatrical business it has done. Overseas and Nizam buyers have lost so much and others to incurred notable losses on this biggie.

It was believed that Danayya and Charan have promised to share the losses suffered by the buyers. However Danayya denied the news and said that he never promised anybody to return the money. Interestingly Danayya who was supposed to be one of the producers for Charan’s next film, which is a remake of Thani Oruvan is not related to the project anymore.

Film sources believe that it is a strategic move by Mega camp to keep Bruce Lee buyers out of this film’s way. As per trade sources buyers who have bought the movie haven’t lost much as they have sold the rights to exhibitors and various third parties prior to the release. Hence there shouldn’t be pressure from the original buyers that are more or less in the safe zone by the time the movie was declared a flop.

The meeting between AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan has been much hyped, but it turned out to be a mere photo-op meeting.Neither Babu nor Pawan Kalyan has given any clear-cut statements as to what went on during the meeting between them. Pawan too did not give any clarity to the farmers who were waiting for some news from him.

Meanwhile, the director of his film Sardaar has been rescheduling shoots as per Pawan Kalyan’s tours and personal work. And now talk is that Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena will contest in the GHMC polls. So the director is worried about further delay.But sources close to Pawan Kalyan say that the star would finish the movie’s shooting and won’t delay it further. In fact, he hinted that he won’t be expanding Jana Sena’s party strength at this moment as it requires huge amount of money. Pawan Kalyan said he doesn’t have enough money to expand the party. Giving political statements as chief of Jana Sena and on the other hand, he will get on with his film shootings.
