Nagarjuna says that they were aiming for quality over speed to ensure that his son Akhil’s debut film is worth the wait Nagarjuna has finally announced that his son Akhil’s debut film, Akhil, will release on Diwali, November 11. The film was supposed to release on Dasara, October 22, but was postponed due to technical problems.

Talking about the reason behind the late release of his son Akhil’s much-awaited debut film, Nagarjuna says, “Akhil’s film got postponed only because the special effects were not ready. We didn’t want to rush it. Why should we? What’s the hurry? If a postponement by a few weeks can enhance the VFX in Akhil we were all for it.”

The superstar adds that it’s quality and not speed that’s essential for his son’s debut. “Akhil is young. He has all the time in the world. We want his debut to be special.” “Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Eega were delayed by more than a year. They worked hard on making the special effects really special. Akhil’s film should be a polished product. Fans who are waiting to see him should not be disappointed.”

During the audio release of Size Zero on Sunday, Anushka, who had to put on a lot of weight for the film, spoke about how she felt related to the film personally. “When I was a yoga teacher, I would see many women feel insecure when they put on weight. They saw magazines and films and would be insecure about themselves. I myself have gone through these emotions in the last 15 years as I put on weight and reduced. So the script is connected to me in real life,” said Anushka.

She adds, “You have to be comfortable in your own skin. I support the fact that everyone should exercise and be healthy, but at the same time you should not feel insecure about your size, colour etc.”

The film has a message: Don’t feel insecure about your size. “When Prakash narrated the script, I immediately said yes.” Prakash’s wife Kanika has written the story.

The recent incidents in the mega camp hint that all the stars in their family have differences with each other and finding it hard to be united together.Much is written about the rift between Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Recently, mega fans started drifting away from Allu Arjun after the recent controversy about Bruce Lee and Rudhramadevi. Then Pawan Kalyan fans were angry with Naga Babu as he scolded them when they started raising Pawan’s name at Chiranjeevi function and they stayed away from the first day hungama for Varun Tej’s Kanche.

He is under pressure to prove that he has no differences with Ram Charan. Very recently, Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind met Ram Charan and came forward to take over the production activities of his new film, Thani Oruvan.

Clearly, all the members from this jumbo star family are trying to bury the differences for the sake of their career and for the fans. Though the cracks still remain, to public they are trying to prove that all are one.

Even Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger was pulled out of competition. Except for Rajugari Gadhi no other movie in the market is doing well at the moment. Only Tripura is the straight film that is releasing in this week. So ground is totally clear for Akhil to cash in on the hype and expectations.

However he is going to face a hurdle in the form of Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo/Prema Leela (Telugu Dubbed) that is releasing on November 12th, just a day after Akhil hits the marquee. Expectations on Salman movie are pretty high because of his recent form plus Rajshri Productions and Sooraj Barjatya factors.

Salman and Barjatya have done wonders at the Telugu box office with their Prema Pavuralu (Maine Pyar Kiya) and Premalayam (Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun) that were runaway blockbusters. Of course the third film in their combo, Hum Sath Sath Hain failed to repeat the magic. However Prema Leela cannot be written off as a mere Hindi dubbed flick.

It has the potential to take on Telugu biggies if it clicks like Prema Pavuralu and Premalayam did.

Bollywood box-office emperor Salman Khan is awaiting the release of his forthcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo this Diwali, which will also release in Telugu as Premleela on 12th November. The macho star has been promoting the film aggressively and in a latest interview, he spoke at length about his personal life, marriage and girlfriends.

While talking about the film’s director Sooraj Barjatya, Salman said that Sooraj loves and dotes on his wife and that he is 100% loyal to his wife. “I am not the loyal types. The capability of meeting this one girl and then spending the rest of your life happily ever after with her is a concept that I have only read of and heard of,” Salman said explaining the reason behind him not getting married until now.

The actor also said that he is not romantic at all because he is a practical person. The Dabangg star further stated that he hates candlelight dinners as such private moments led all his girlfriends to talk about marriage which then led to fights and arguments at the end of the dinners.

Salman, who is rumored to be dating his Romanian girlfriend Lulia Vantur, told recently that he will get married within a year.

While critics were not much impressed with Raju Gari Gadhi, the movie struck a chord with the mass audiences in B and C Centres.The movie now became most profitable venture for both the producers and distributors. More than 12 Cr is expected to rake in by the end of its total run.

Now anchor turned director Ohmkar Annayya is planning a sequel to his super hit movie to cash in on the craze that the movie has got.

Like Lawrence did the Kanchana series, Ohmkar is planning similar movies in the horror comedy genre.

Ohmkar’s directorial capabilities are yet to be improved but he has proven that he can create comedy that can connect with mass audiences.

Hence the producers who backed him for this movie have asked him to go ahead with the sequels.

It is known that Kamal Haasan has a film lined up for release titled Cheekati Rajyam and the film is due for release for Diwali. So Kamal Haasan is promoting the film and has been giving press interviews.Responding to a particular query, Kamal Haasan said that he was worried at the way there is growing intolerance between different religions in the country.

He said these issues need to be addressed and care must be taken to ensure that they do not divide the country once again. Kamal said if such differences wouldn’t have divided the country in the past, India would have been the largest country in the world right now.

Kamal said to him all religions were equal and said that people must respect each other’s beliefs. Religious differences are not good for the growth and prosperity of any country, he said.

Even before wrapping up his next ‘A…Aa’ with director Trivikram, Nithiin is going to start his up next film. This yet-to-be-titled movie will introduce new director MV Narayan. The talk in tinsel town is that Nithiin is going to give break to this talented newcomer. Nithiin has been choosy about his directors. Earlier director Vijay Kumar Konda got introduced with Gunde Jari Gallanthayyinde and he proved his mettle. Now many in the industry hoping that Narayan would also join this bandwagon.

After a lot of dilly dallying, finally, Rakul Preet Singh has teamed up with Nithiin for this film. The duo was supposed to pair up with each other for sometime, but couldn’t materialise due to dates of Rakul. Veligonda Srinivas has provided story whereas dialogues were written by Krishna Chaitanya.

If all goes well, the film will roll onto floors from December. Makers are planning to release this film for Summer.On other hand, Nithiin is busy wrapping up Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial A..Aa. Samantha pairs up with Nithiin in this film.  Looks like, Nithiin has fasten his work.
