GHMC Elections in January 2016!
It’s official now. The Greater Hyderabad Muncicipal Elections (GHMC) will be held in Janauary 2016. The Telangana government on Monday submitted an affidavit in the Hyderabad High Court stating that it will complete GHMC elections by January 31, 2016.The Telangana government sought time till January 31 on the grounds of delay in correction in voter lists, new voter enrollments and delimitation of wards.
The High Court directed the Telangana government to meet the deadline of January 31, 2016.
The court was hearing a petition on the delay in conducting GHMC elections. Responding on the government’s plea, the court directed the government to complete all arrangements by December 15, 2015 and complete the election process by January 31.
Daughter’s Wedding to Unite Revanth, KCR?
There’s an old saying – there are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. Proving it right again, arch rivals Revanth Reddy and KCR are likely to call for truce. If reports are anything to go by, Revanth would soon be meeting KCR personally and likely to invite him for his daughter’s wedding that is scheduled in the next month.
Buzz is there is something beyond just inviting KCR for his daughter’s marriage and sources say there is a big political strategy behind this. Apparently, TDP leaders want to sort out differences with TRS and even Revanth is said to be in favour of it.
Though Revanth had made serious allegations against KCR and even stated on several platforms that he will not spare KCR and his family after he was caught red-handed in the sensational cash-for-vote scandal during MLC election, latest is that Revanth seems to have soften his stand and decided to befriend KCR as the vote-for-note is more or less solved.
However, it’s heard that the dynamics started changing after KCR attended Amaravati inauguration ceremony. Now that Naidu, KCR become friends, TDP leaders too suggested Revanth to offer olive branch to KCR to which Revanth seem to have changed his mind and agreed in principle. Also, TRS leaders too are in favour of this bonding between KCR and Revanth.

WTA Finals: Sania Mirza, Martina Hingis bag ninth title of the year
Singapore: Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis lifted their ninth title together this year beating the Spanish pair of Garbine Muguruza and Carla Suarez Navarro to clinch the WTA Finals women’s doubles trophy here on Sunday.Sania and Martina, the top seeds, prevailed 6-0, 6-3 over their eight-seeded rivals in a lopsided summit clash, which lasted little over an hour.
Before this, Sania and Martina had won eight titles (Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston, Wimbledon, US Open, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Beijing) and finished runner-up just once (Rome – falling to WTA Rising Stars Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic).
The Indo-Swiss pairing dropped serve only once through the match and broke their opponents five times to wrap up a comprehensive victory.Sania and Martina are now unbeaten in 22 matches, stretching back six tournaments.

“We feel very fortunate. We’ve done some amazing things together and it’s the perfect way to end the year for us,” she added.
Heavy rain lashes coastal AP, normal life comes to a halt
Visakhapatnam: Heavy rains pounded various parts of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, particularly the north coastal districts, due to an embedded cyclonic circulation over the North Bay of Bengal coupled with the intensifying of northeast monsoon.
Several bridges in the Agency areas in north coastal Andhra Pradesh were said to have been washed away, cutting access to villages. The downpour brought normal life to a halt in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts. Hill streams were in full flow in Paderu, Araku, Pedabayalu and Munchingput mandals, and were flowing over some low level bridges.
While Visakhapatnam received 15 cm rainfall on Sunday, Anakapalli (Visakhapatnam), Tuni (East Godavari) and Denkada (Vizianagaram) registered more than 9 cm rainfall in the last 24 hours.

Aishwarya Bachchan’s dream to strike back big with re-entry film ‘Jazbaa’ hasn’t paid positive returns. The thriller drama directed by Sanjay Gupta is largely inspired from Korean film ‘Seven Days.’ After a big wait, the film has hit the screens on 9th of this month with the Hindi version. Damaged by divided reviews and negative mouth talk, ‘Jazbaa’ could not break the Box Office jinx.
As Aishwarya has enough mileage in South, we heard that makers are planning to come up with a dubbed Telugu version of ‘Jazbaa’ titled as ‘Jazbaa: Advocate Anuradha Varma.’ Depending upon the immediate space availability at Box Office in between the big releases, Aish is going to strike the Telugu states. Most probably, October 9th is the date makers are aiming at.
‘Jazbaa’ is all about most successful or say undefeated criminal lawyer Anuradha Varma’s journey to find her kidnapped daughter, en-route facing the challenges from kidnappers, who have altogether a different motive. Despite a weak commercial verdict, ‘Jazbaa’ stood strong on performances with Aishwarya, Irrfan Khan stealing the show. Let us see, how Telugu audience will grab it.
Fresh Headache For KCR
Close on the heels of by-election for Warangal Lok Sabha, cold war is back in the incumbent TRS. The one-upmanship of KTR and Harish Rao over each other is expected to be a major stumbling block for the TRS in the poll and expected to play spoilsport for the ruling party whereas the same might help the opposition leaders.
Known as senior leader and poll strategist Harish Rao failed in getting ticket for his follower Errolla Srinivas for the Warangal by-poll whereas IT Minister KTR’s protege Dayakar has been named as the party candidate. With his the differences between the duo, which were buried under the carpet, have come to the light yet again.
On other hand KCR has made half of his cabinet colleagues as in-charges for the assembly constituencies under Warangal Lok Sabha constituency and Harish Rao was made incharge for Warangal East assembly constituency whereas his son KTR has been chosen as incharge for Warangal West constituency.
Since Harish was disappointed that his follower didn’t get ticket and his opinion wasn’t given importance, he is now sulking and staying away from party meetings. Harish camp is said to be non-cooperating to the election campaign of the TRS thus bringing headache to KCR.TRS leaders are hoping that KCR would soon resolve the issue amicably if not it might affect the winning prospects of the ruling party candidate. Shakeela, A Life Beyond Sex
Until a decade ago, Telugu actress Shakeela was known as a sex bomb who ruled the Malayalam film industry. There was a time when even legendary Malayali stars like Mohanlal and Mammootty too had to postpone their films due to strong box-office run of Shakeela films. The actress quit the soft porn films in 2000 and entered mainstream films acting with Teja’s Jayam.
Shakeela, in her latest interview, revealed several intimate secrets about her personal life, including her sex life. When quizzed about her sexual relationships, Shakeela said that she would not reveal the name of her partner but said that she experienced the ‘best’ with him. Shakeela also revealed about her romantic relationships with several men, starting from her early age of 10 years.
The actress further said that she, just like many other actresses in the film industry, entered films with the dreams of becoming a star. However, she had to take the adult film route because of her poor family conditions. Also, she always loved the skimpy and glamorous clothes she was wearing for her roles in those films, which was another reason for her to continue acting in adult films.

Warangal Bypoll Develops Fissures In TRS!

TRS leaders are worried that former Deputy CM Rajaiah would sabotage the party in the elections and work for TRS defeat and cause embarrassment to Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari in his own district.
In this way, he is planning to take revenge on both Kadiam Srihari and TRS party leadership at a time for insulting and humiliating him by stripping him of Deputy CM post.
