Madhu Priya marriage : All’s well that ends well !
Adilabad, Oct 30: Singer Madhu Priya tied nuptial knot with her lover Srikanth at Kagaznagar in Adilabad today. It may be noted the singer left home without informing parents and lodged a police complaint against them.
The police today counselled the couple and their parents. The singer’s father urged her to concentrate on career and to postpone the marriage. He later agreed to perform marriage on November 18.
As Madhu Priya insisted that marriage should be held today, her parents left her in town. Earlier, Police asked the singer’s parents not to stop the marriage as both the bride and groom were majors.
Anuhya Rape-Murder: Death for Convict
Describing the case as ‘rarest of rare’, Mumbai sessions court on Friday sentenced death for the convict in the rape-murder of Esther Anuhya, a TCS techie who was found dead in January. 39-yr-old Chandrabhan Sanap was convicted for rape and murder of 23-year-old Esther. Chandrabhan was convicted under IPC Section 302 (murder), Section 376 (rape) and Section 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence).
Esther, who was native of Machilipatnam, was employed as assistant system engineer with TCS at its office in Suburban Goregaon. After celebrating her Christamas holidays at her residence, she was returning to Mumbai on Jan 5, 2015, where Sanap spotted her sitting alone at the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Kurla. Pretending to be a cab driver, he offered to drop her off at Andheri on his two-wheeler where he raped and murdered her at an isolated place.
The decomposed body of Anuhya was found off the Eastern Express Highway in suburban Bhandup on January 16, 2014. Sanap was caught in early March, after two months of man hunt.
“The case falls under the category of the rarest of rare, hence the accused is awarded death sentence…He must be hanged by his neck till he is dead,” said Special Women’s court judge Vrushali Joshi pronouncing the verdict.
Jonathan Prasad and Thomas Noble – the father and brother of the 23-year old victim, Esther, welcomed the verdict. “Justice has been done and we are grateful to the police, courts and media for taking up the cause so diligently… It will serve as a deterrent to others,” Prasad told media-persons outside the court.
Person Dies while watching Raju Gari Gadi
In an unfortunate incident, an elderly person was died on Friday while watching horror-comedy Raju Gari Gadi. One, Amarnath, died while seeing the morning show of Raju Gari Gadi at the Metro theatre in Old City, Hyderabad. Amarnath was 55-year-old. He was from Bahadurpura.
It’s learnt that theatre’s staff spotted Amarnath after the completion of show. By the time they had spotted him, he was found dead. The matter has been informed to local police personnel and the family members of Amarnath.
Knowing of this ill-fated incident, director Ohmkar expressed shock and condolences to the bereaved family. Ohmkar said to have offered Rs 1 Lakh as ex gratia for the victim’s family. Starring Ashwin, Chetan, Dhanya in lead roles, the horror-comedy released last week (Oct 23) on the eve of Dasara was faring well at the ticket windows.
Imran Khan divorces his Wife
Islamabad, Oct 30: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and wife Reham Khan have divorced with mutual consent after 10 months of marriage, an official said on Friday. Six months in, rumours that the marriage was falling apart began to circulate, Dawn online reported.
While the couple was seen together on occasion, Imran Khan, 62, last month tweeted an apparent refutation of the rumours: “I am shocked at a TV channel making slanderous statement about my marriage. I strongly urge the media to desist from such baseless statements.”
In a series of tweets, Imran Khan wrote that the divorce is painful for him, Reham, 42, and their respective families and requested everyone to respect their privacy. The PTI chairman and television journalist Reham Khan had tied the knot in a simple nikkah ceremony which took place in January this year at his private residence.
A source close to the PTI chairman, said the two were “just not getting along.” “She wanted to get involved with politics and that is not what Khan wanted at all. She just did not want to sit at home,” he said.
“There were teething problems as well over other issues which were being resolved but this was a major issue – she wanted to get into politics and was not ready to back down.” Sources said Reham has left Pakistan for London and is expected to address a conference there. “We have decided to part ways and file for divorce,” she tweeted.
Sachin’s Son in Vishakapatnam !
Vizianagaram, Oct 30: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar arrived in Vizianagaram town yesterday to play in a three-day warm-up game at Vijji Grounds .
The match will be a prelude to Indian Cricket Association’s under-16 cricket match between Maharashtra and Vidarbha in Visakhapatnam.
On the first day, Arjun Tendulkar stood not out on seven runs. Hundreds of people arrived at the stadium to have a glimpse of Arjun, but they were not allowed inside.
Mumbai team won the toss and decided to bat. On day one, the team scored 229 for the loss of six wickets.
Few months ago, Arjun bowled to England cricketers in nets during Ashes series.
KCR’s ‘Open Heart With Modi’!
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is again rushing for New Delhi for three days from November 3 to 5. Interestingly, he was in New Delhi from October 26 to 28 and he returned to city only on October 28.His second visit to New Delhi within a gap of one week fuelled polticial speculations of his desperate bid to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in order to come out of CBI cases, which of late started to haunt KCR.
The reports of CBI digging the scams of labour department when KCR worked as union labour minister in UPA government between 2004 and 2006 have been making the headlines and attracting the attention of political and government circles. First it was about irregularities in awarding contract of ESI hospitals and the latest being provident fund irregularities of Sahara Group and CBI investigations point out that as union labour minister KCR showed favouritism and blantantly violated the norms to benefit some private individuals and firms.
These reports may be mere speculations but KCR rushing to New Delhi for two-three days each time within a gap of one week is surely raising the eyebrows given that he stayed away from Delhi from the last six months.
TRS party sources said during his recent trip he could not talk ‘freely’ with Modi due to his busy schedule and there are ‘several things’ that need to be discussed with Modi by ‘opening his heart’ and for this reason he had sought Modi’s appointment on November 5.
While TRS party circles are trying to downplay KCR’s Delhi visit saying that it was only to participate in meetings of World Economic Forum and Confederation of Indian Industry, which are scheduled on November 3 and 4, they are unable to explain why he is staying in Delhi on November 5 and sought Modi’s appointment.
Bengal Tiger Being ‘Repaired’?
Bengal Tiger’s release date has been postponed by three weeks. Now that is not a small window of time and latest buzz in the industry is that the film hasn’t come up to the expectations of the hero and the team.It is known that Sampath Nandi is directing the film. Talk is that a lot of repair work is going on and that re-shoots have been planned.
As per earlier schedule, the film should have been hit the screens for Diwali. And accordingly, the film’s trailer has also been released. But now the film’s release has been postponed for three weeks and it is said that it could release in December. It is being said the film’s shooting was more or less over and when the unit watched the film, it was clear that none of them liked parts of it. So, immediately re-shoots were planned and the team announced the delay in release date.
However, there is another version that the film has been postponed for Akhil. Akhil is now slated for release for Diwali. But that is not confirmed as yet. So some say pushing the blame on to Akhil is telling gullible stories.
Naturally, this has strengthened the rumours about re-shoot and the unit is busy say industry insiders. The film’s hero Ravi Teja who is desperate for a hit right now is said to be pretty tensed about the film as it means a lot for him at this juncture. Well, it remains to be seen when Bengal Tiger hits the screen and how!

Shah Rukh Khan with Kajol returns with ‘Dilwale’
Mumbai, Oct 30: Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan’s on-screen pairing has been a hit since “Baazigar”, and their charm has been hard to match. Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have come close to sharing a similar chemistry in films, but Kajol says it’s unfair to draw such comparisons.
At an event here, Kajol was asked if Ranbir and Deepika could be the next SRK-Kajol.
To that, she said: “Honestly, I don’t think you can compare anybody to anybody. I cannot be like Deepika or she can’t be like me…or we (SRK and I) cannot be like Deepika and Ranbir or vice-versa”.
Together, SRK and Kajol have featured in films like “Karan Arjun”, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” and “My Name Is Khan”. The on-screen romantic couple is set to sweep audiences off their feet again with their upcoming movie “Dilwale” this Christmas.

Kamal with Raj Thakeray’s family
Mumbai, Oct 30: Superstar Kamal Haasan called on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray at his Krishnakunj residence here on Friday morning.
The Thackeray family – Raj, his wife Sharmila and daughter Urvashi – warmly received Haasan and two relatives.
They were accorded a traditional Maharashtrian reception with shawls and flowers — Thackeray draped a golden shawl around the 61-year-old actor’s shoulders.
Sharmila greeted Haasan with a ‘Namaste’ while Urvashi touched his feet respectfully as he blessed her.
The reason behind the meeting is not known though MNS officials described it as “a courtesy call” and dismissed speculation the actor was planning to join the party.
Singer Madhu Priya Love Marriage Today !
Kagaznagar (Adilabad), Oct 30: Folk singer Madhu Priya has courted a controversy by leaving her home without informing parents. It is said that Madhu Priya left the home as parents opposed her decision to marry her lover. The singer fell in love with Srikanth, who stays near her house at Nallakunta in Hyderabad.
Madhu Priya went to Srikanth’s native place at Kagaznagar in Adilabad. Some persons made a vain bid to kidnap the singer yesterday. The singer’s marriage would be held at Vasavi Gardens in the town today. The couple will invite Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the reception party to be hosted in Hyderabad on November 2.
Madhu Priya shot into fame with the folk song ‘Adapillanamma’ during Telangana statehood movement. She even lodged a police complaint against her parents stating that they were opposing her marriage. She turned 18 a month ago. Her parents are reluctant to perform marriage at a younger age. Though she is in love with Srikanth for the past two years, she revealed the matter after becoming a major.
Sources said that Srikanth works in a real estate company.

Young Singer’s Love Marriage Turns Controversial
Madhupriya, the popular young folk singer from Telangana who shot to fame in a singers contest with the superhit ‘Aadapillanamma’ song, has been a child prodigy and her songs enthralled her fans and TV viewers for the last five years. Madhupriya also became a gave of protestors during the separate Telangana movement.

Featuring Nikhil and Nandita in the leads, Kona Venkat is now producing “Shankarabaranam”, a crime thriller set in Bihar backdrop. Buzz says from a long time that this film is actually a free-make of Hindi movie ‘Phas Gaya Re Obama’.
However there is never any confirmation about it, until Kona spilled the beans today. “The original idea of Shankarabharanam is taken from “Phas gaya re obama” & woven our story around it. We have taken rights for entire south!!”, said Kona.
It takes guts for any writer, director or producer to announce before the release that they have purchased remake rights and took central plot from that movie to make their new film. In that context, we have to admire Kona for his guts and belief in the content they have re-designed.
