Can Kalyan Ram Recreate the Magic of ‘Pataas’?
Undoubtedly Kalyan Ram is one of the most decent heroes among Nandamuri family’s actors. In spite of successes and failures he exhibits the same attitude and remains to be humble. This year turned the most memorable for him as his ‘Pataas’ stood as the highest grosser among his films. The movie has also stood as the first blockbuster of the year.
Kalyan Ram’s new movie ‘Sher’ is hitting the screens today across the globe. Since his previous film ‘Pataas’ has done well at the box office, Nandamuri fans believe that ‘Sher’ would recreate the magic of ‘Pataas’. They are also hoping the movie would break the collections of ‘Pataas’.
Sonal Chauhan has teamed up with Kalyan Ram in this action and comedy entertainer. Music of the movie was composed by Thaman while Sarvesh Murari has done the cinematography. The movie was directed by Mallikarjun. Komara Venkatesh is the producer.
When Naidu Got Secret Phone Call
While Andhra Pradesh government is basking in the glory of grand success of its capital city Amaravati’s inauguration on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dasami, inside reports say Chandrababu had tough time in making this a big success. Buzz is that Chandrababu Naidu had got a secret phone call from a big wig when he was on the dais.
It’s reported that Chandrababu received a phone call in the midst of the event from an influential person in the country, especially holds sway in AP, Telangana. Apparently, the big wig tried to put pressure on Mr Naidu to call him upon the stage which has the likes of PM Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Nirmala Sitharaman, YS Chowdary, Telangana CM KCR, Governors of states, MPs, respected dignitaries of Singapore, Japan.
Fazed by the sudden move, Naidu tried to convince him that it’s not possible as it’s not in his hands. Naidu told the big wig that total guest list on dais was decided by the Prime Minister Office (PMO) and it’s totally in their control as none other than PM Modi was present. Though Chandrababu conveyed that he is helpless as the matter is out of hands, the big wig was said to be upset with Naidu. That’s the inside story in Amaravati folks.
Actress Poses Seminude For Motherhood Project
Here’s once a popular actress Kasthuri posing seminude with her kid for The Bodies of Mothers photography project to highlight motherhood. The photographs were taken around a year ago for the photo book ‘A Beautiful Body Project: The Boosters is Mothers’ by celebrated photographer Jade Beall.
The photo book has stories of 80 mothers from across the world and celebrates the beauty of when during their pregnancy and after becoming mother. Kasthuri is well known to Tollywood audiences through hit films like Kamal Haasan’s Bharateeyudu, Nippu Ravva and Annamayya etc.
Kasthuri married a US-based doctor named Ravikumar and now lives in Arizona and has two kids, Shobini and Sankalp.
Cheekati Rajyam Release delayed
Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s next, Cheekati Rajyam is not releasing on November 10th as planned earlier. Its Tamil version, Thoonga Vanam will only release on that day and Cheekati Rajyam will see light two days late on November 12th.
Thoonga Vanam was censor recently and they say the censor talk is very positive. Kollywood media was abuzz that this may be the comeback film of the Ulaga Nayagan. The entire shooting of the film was completed in a record 39 working days.
The movie is a heavily inspired from a French film in which the entire story takes place in one night. The story revolves around a reputed cop and Kamal Hassan will be seen as a cop in this flick. Interestingly, Kamal had ropped in three action choreographers – Gilles Conseil, Silivain Gabet and Virginie Arnaud to compose the fight sequences of the film.
Kamal Hassan’s associate Rajesh is directing the film which is a bilingual made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Trisha is the female lead, their second film together after Manmadha Banam.
Modi, The Master Politician!
He is yet to prove himself as an able administrator of the nation, but one cannot gainsay Narendra Modi’s ability as a master politician.The ongoing Bihar polls have witnessed a tug of war between the BJP and the Grand Alliance comprising of Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar.
While the Grand Alliance seemed to be wresting the initiative, Modi has again come out with a master stroke. Once again, the tool employed is the Mussalman. The Grand Alliance was talking of providing reservations to Muslims in order to counter the threat from the new entrant MIM and thereby consolidate its Muslim vote bank.
Modi was quick to seize in on the opportunity. By saying that reservations on religious lines would mean eating away into the reservations provided for SC’s, ST’s and OBC’s, he vowed to prevent such a thing from happening. Now, all the communities enjoying reservation status are beginning to look upon Modi as their savior.
It has also helped to negate the ill-will generated by the remarks of RSS head, Mohan Bhagwat who called for a review of the existing reservations’ system in the country.
Kanche First Week Collections
Mega Prince Varun Tej’s latest offering, Kanche had completed its first week run at the box office. The movie had an average opening in the first seven days collecting about 10 Crore share. The movie being a different genre and the low buzz before the release, the opening can be termed as Good.
Everyone doubted if the film sustains on the working days, but it did well. The makers have increased the publicity quotient post the release which helped. The team also took up a success tour which worked in favor of the movie. The final result will depend on how it lasts till the big releases arrive for Diwali.

This Kamal Haasan movie is making waves before the release. The film Cheekati Rajyam is being shot in Tamil as Thoongaavam.Starring Kamal Haasan, Trisha and Prakash Raj this movie is a thriller
Speaking to press Kamal Haasan said, “As promised earlier I did a straight Telugu film. Telugu film industry made me a star. My journey to stardom nationwide began here. If you consider the percentage, Telugu people received me well more than the Tamil audiences.“
Kamal will be seen as a police officer in “Cheekati Rajyam”, which is touted to be a stylish thriller that will unfold in a single night.
The movie also has Prakash Raj and Uma Riaz Khan in pivotal roles. Ghibran is the music composer.
Ramajogaiah Pastry said that he hopes ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ will be as big a hit as it has content similar to Hollywood thrillers and to the likes of Overseas audience.
