Which rumour Kona is quashing? There is a buzz that Bruce Lee distributors are approaching Film Chamber officials to sort out their losses. In fact, nearly 30% losses are predicted for the film at box office, regarding which there is a divide talk, that the loss would be repaid through next film with producer offering them a movie for lesser prices next time. Is Kona quashing this one?

Or there is another buzz that Kona is getting ready to file a defamation suit for 10 crores on Sreenu Vaitla, as he feels that the director insulted him by giving credit as story-writer, while the story was changed from the original version he has given. Is Kona saying this is untrue?

With Kona not giving clarity regarding various rumours doing rounds, there is a possibility that his clarification will give rise to another rumour.

The trend of presenting costly gifts to heroes, directors and heroines by the producers has been revived again in Tollywood.A decade ago this was the most common practice by the producers to gift the actors after the success of the movie. Now, Mahesh Babu has restarted this.

The latest director to receive costly gift from the producers is Maruthi, who received luxury Jaguar car costing Rs 80 lakhs. Bunny Vaas, Pramod and Vamsi who produced Bhale Bhale Magadivoy with Nani in the direction of Maruthi ordered the Jaguar car soon after the release of the movie. Now the car was handed over to him.

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy has collected about Rs 25 Crs and the movie was made with mere Rs 10 Crs. A month ago, Mahesh Babu did the same by presenting costly Audi car to his director Siva Koratala who made Srimanthudu. The film set new record of becoming all-time second biggest hit in the history of Tollywood after Baahubali.

So overwhelmed with the success, Mahesh Babu immediately gifted the director such a luxury car.

Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali broke every record at the box office to become India’s biggest blockbuster.Expectations were pretty high that Baahubali would set new benchmarks in terms of TRP ratings too.

MAA TV bought the satellite rights of Baahubali for a whopping price. They have expected Baahubali to get above 30 points and set a new benchmark in TRP. However Baahubali only got 21.8 which is lower than Magadheera’s television premiere. Magadheera got 22.7 but it is not the highest ever for a Telugu film. This record is reportedly held by Sri Ramadasu with 24 points.

There was so much buzz about Baahubali’s television premiere but the ratings prove that not everybody has shown interest in watching the epic movie on TV. Movies that were aired on other channels during Baahubali premiere managed to get decent TRP! However this is the best in last five years surpassing Attarinti Daredi’s 19+ TRP.

Mumbai: Actress Taapsee Pannu, who is a teetotaler in real life, has turned down an offer to endorse a liquor brand. She says she refused to be associated with the brand as she “doesn’t want to propagate” consumption of alcohol.The “Baby” actress added that she is picky about brand endorsements as she feels they are an extension of her personality. “I have always been cautious of the brands and products I endorse because I think it helps my audience to form an image of how I am in real. I only endorse products I use or believe in.”

“This (liquor brand) definitely doesn’t feature in that list and I was pretty surprised that it came to me at first place. It’s definitely not a product I would ever endorse, not only because I am a teetotaler, but also because I don’t want to propagate the use of the product,” Taapsee said in a statement.

The actress, who has worked in Bollywood as well as other regional industries and even has her own wedding planning company, was offered an alcohol endorsement last week. On the film front, Taapsee is prepping up for “Runningshaadi.com” and “Agra Ka Daabra”.

Hyderabad, Oct 29: Tollywood actor Prabhas’s marriage plan is a hotly debated topic among youth. The actor too revealed that he would marry after the release of ‘Baahubali’ movie.

The actor’s uncle Krishnam Raju too claimed that he would find a suitable match for Prabhas and would perform the marriage, after the release of the film. ‘Baahubali’ completed 100 days and even ‘Baahubali 2’ shooting commenced recently, but Prabhas has not commented on the matter.

It is said that Prabhas will marry after completing the shooting of the film in 2016.

According to sources close to the actor, the family members decided to marry Prabhas to a girl from Bhimavaram in October 2016.

Of late, whenever a big Tollywood film is being planned or announced, it has become mandatory that Jhanvi Kapoor, the elder daughter of yesteryear diva Sridevi, is also linked with that project. Veteran writer Kona Venkat took to Twitter after the news about him filing a defamation suit against Sreenu Vaitla for changing his script without his consent.Kona Venkat didn’t mention about the ongoing controversy and simply stated that ‘Don’t believe in rumors and gossips’. Kona Venkat still believes that Bruce Lee is getting good collections and good response.

Kona blamed Vaitla that he taking credit for other’s hard work. He didn’t work for Vaitla’s Aagadu and then Charan brought them together for Bruce Lee saying that cinema is beyond personal issues. However return of Kona and Gopi Mohan didn’t change the fate of Bruce Lee. It has bitten dust at the box office like Aagadu.
