Here is an exciting news for Akkineni fans. The CG work company of the film finished the Graphics correction of one sequence and delivered it. This error postponed the movie from Dussehra. Nagarjuna will watch the film today or tomorrow and will finalize the movie release date. The movie will see the light on November 11th as Diwali Special.

The release date is likely to be confirmed via Newspaper ads this weekend. The censor formalities of the movie will take place in the first week of next month. The makers will once again restart the promotion activity with the Triple platinum disc function in Vijayawada.

Mass Masala director VV Vinayak is wielding megaphone for this film. The movie is a hot cake in trade and is witnessing never before business for a debutant. Akhil had done prerelease business worth 47 Crore which is the highest ever for a new comer in the history of Telugu cinema.

Sher Story line is out

Nandamuri Kalyanram’s latest film, Sher is all set to hit the marquee this Friday. The movie which was delayed for a long time due to various reasons is releasing now and Kalyanram is keen on continuing the success streak which he started with Pataas.

According to the grapevine, Sher revolves around Brother’s sentiment. The hero who is first shown as a happy go lucky lad, will go on to take revenge when goons kill his brother. The makers are aggressively promoting the movie so as to excite the audience and increase the openings.

Sonal Chauhan who appeared in films like Legend and Pandaga Chesko, is romancing Kalyan Ram in this film. Kaththi fame Mallikarjun is wielding megaphone for this film. Kalyan Ram and Mallikharjun worked together for the film ‘Katthi’ a few years ago, is directing this film and this is their second project together. Thaman is the music composer.

Varun Tej Receives Appreciation Call from Vinayak for Kanche

This highly serious film with solid content and large span intellectual, philosophical lines is receiving lot of applause from class audience. On the surprising side, many of the senior industry members and well wishers cannot stop praising director Krish, writer Sai Madhav Burra and hero Varun Tej from picking this experiment.

Varun Tej expressed great pleasure when received a call from Vv Vinayak. ‘I got a call from a very special person Vv Vinayak garu. He spoke so high about film, director Krish and me. This feels great. Thank you sir,’ Varun Tej posted on Twitter page. Vinayak happens to be a very close member to Mega family and his wishes means a lot.

Currently, Vinayak is quite busy with post production corrections on ‘Akhil’ and he will be free by year end. For sure, Vinayak will handle Varun Tej in near future and Chiranjeevi’s prestigious 150th is also in line for this action loving director.

Bruce Lee Suffered With Triple Punch !

The very hope for producer DVV Danayya to release ‘Bruce Lee’ on emergency grounds opposite to ‘Rudhramadevi’ was to cash on Dasara festive season. In fact, there were no big movies in market by then to fight against a top opponent like Ramcharan.

This was the positive factor which made ‘Bruce Lee’ to go boundless and there was a superb platform set for Vytla team to go for a final kill at Box Office. However, first day talk let them go dehydrated and revenues went on stooping to lowest mark from then on. In less than 24 hours after negative talk spread out, three movies viz. ‘Kanche, Raju Gari Gadi’ and ‘Columbus’ disregarded the threat from ‘Bruce Lee’ thus announcing a common release date of 22nd. Trade sources say, ‘Bruce Lee’ still had a chance to improvise its revenues if the above said three films would have missed the battle field.

Luckily, ‘Kanche, Raju Gari Gadi, Columbus’ played their major share at Box Office slaughtering the final luck of ‘Bruce Lee.’ In next one week or so, ‘Bruce Lee’ business can come to a complete closure touching 40 Crs. Despite a negative verdict and disheartening attack from anti-Mega groups, this is not a bad show from Charan.

Huge Price for ‘Sarainodu’ Ceded Rights!

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s new film, which has been tentatively titled as ‘Sarainodu’, is on rapid pace of its shoot. The movie’s theatrical rights for Ceded area are known to have been sold out to Rs.8.10 crores to NV Prasad which are excluding prints and publicity charges. Earlier Allu Arjun’s ‘Race Gurram’ accumulated Rs.8.30 crores in this area which prompted the the buyers to acquire the movie’s rights to such a huge price.

Srikanth and Aadhi are playing crucial roles in ‘Sarainodu’. Rakul Preet Singh romances Allu Arjun in this mass entertainer. Boyapati Srinu is directing this movie. Mega Producer Allu Aravind is producing this movie on Geetha Arts.

Ravishing beauty Anushka will sizzle in a special song in this movie. Thaman is composing the music of the movie. The movie is slated for release for summer, 2016. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun enthralled the audiences with his mesmerizing performance as Gona Gannareddy in ‘Rudhramadevi’.

Kanche, Striving Hard at Box Office!

Despite knowing a fact that 20 Crores budget is meager for a film of ‘Kanche’ scale, hats off to Krish for wrapping such project within a stipulated time and money. Apparently, Mega camp hero Varun Tej is yet to establish a market of own and Krish is very much acknowledged about this reality before experimenting budget on him. Whatsoever money spent on ‘Kanche’ is purely meant to bring in an authentic flavor for World War episodes and Krish never had Varun or his potentiality in his mind.

Above all this, commercial viability is the key word describes stamina of a film. A movie might have got enormous critics applause and wonderful reviews but finally falling flat on nose by failing to recover the budget spent directly means it is tagged as a flop. Not just producers, even buyers who have risked their big money should also reap benefits.

If reports are to be believed, ‘Kanche’ definitely opened to positive response from patrons. However, this response is restricted only to few centers in selected regions. Especially, metro and A class audience along with Overseas public have adored ‘Kanche.’ What remains to be seen is, how good is this one section of viewers can take it to break-even mark?

Rejected By NTR, Message Passed To Mahesh

Message giving is something only star heroes could do rather easily. Because if small heroes give such messages, the connectivity will be less. After Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Tagore, probably Srimanthudu is the best message oriented film delivered by any super star. And here comes another one.

Already Mahesh Babu has given nod for AR Murugadoss and the project will go on floors soon. It is being speculated that this project is not something written for Mahesh Babu in particular. From a time, Murugadoss is resting in Hyderabad and working with director Gopichand Malineni and producer Dil Raju to write a script. It is believed that they are preparing this script for Jr NTR, as Dil Raju is having Young Tiger’s dates in kitty.

But when they bounced this script to NTR, he didn’t liked it, says a source. “Films like Naaga and Rakhi are NTR’s trysts with message-oriented films and they didn’t worked. Maybe for that reason, Tarak is not happy to do a social message kind of movie. He asked Murugadoss and Gopichand to come up with another script”, the source added.

When Murugadoss narrated the same script to Mahesh Babu, he okayed it immediately but with a clause. Reports have that Mahesh asked ‘message specialist’ AR Murugadoss himself to direct the project rather handling the mantle to someone. Dil Raju, Mahesh and Murugadoss might jointly produce the film.

No Re-Shoots for Akhil

There are various versions of rumors circulating on Akkineni Akhil debut film ‘Akhil’ release postponement. The socio fantasy flick made on high budget by Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy under VV Vinayak direction is undergoing some qualitative refinements for sure when Nagarjuna expressed his discontent after watching few rushes during the post production stage.

As ‘Akhil’ script demands high quality VFX works, makers have planned a tight post production schedule there by sticking to a release date of Dasara Holidays season. However, they could not make both ends meet and pushed the release to a further indefinite date resulting in plenty of speculations about ‘Akhil’ going to miss Diwali and might hit screens only for Pongal. In fact, Akkineni Fans were tensed hearing the news on re-shoot of few scenes.

Akhil came to the fore to wipe off all such gossips. ‘I am just clearing the air! There is no reshoot of any sort happening for Akhil. Lots of rumors going around which are completely false,’ Akhil informed. If this is true, Akhil should announce the possible best release date to keep a full stop for all rumors.

Sweta Basu to Sizzle in a Horror Series

Sweta Basu Prasad is all set to sizzle on TV. The child actress turned heroine is returning to TV after 14-long years. Sweta will be seen in a horror series, Darr Sabko Lagta Hai. Corroborating the news, Sweta Basu said, “I haven’t done television in 14 years since Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. I’ve done a couple of short films and this episode was a lot like them. I’m happy to associate with this series.”

Shot to fame with Srikanth Addala’s Kotha Bangaru Lokam in Telugu, Sweta mired in a few controversies including allegedly caught in a sex scandal. The multi-talented beauty is now struggling hard to make a good comeback. Sweta got national recognition when she bagged National Award for her role in Makdee.

‘Bahubali’ is one film which earned Prabhas a nation-wide recognition. This kind of sweet surprises come very rarely in Hindi industry because an actor from South gaining instant stardom in North isn’t witnessed in past. However, our Young Rebel Star is now a national star with rumor mills continuously at work assigning Prabhas to different kind of Hollywood and Bollywood projects.

Latest we heard is, Prabhas signed ‘Dhoom 4’ for Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar is also in the queue to rope in our Southern star into a high budget project. Do Prabhas have anything to say on this? ‘Please, do not make me a national star as it is too early for me in Bollywood. One film can never make someone a star. True that, I am getting Bollywood offers but I haven’t committed for any and it is too early to sign any project unless ‘Bahubali 2’ is over.

Roopa Vaitla Speaks Out on Issue

Days after the news of alleged family rift between director husband Sreenu Vaitla and wife Roopa Vaitla and where the latter said to have approached police against former, Roopa Vaitla has finally broken her silence. Speaking out on the much talked about issue, Roopa shocked one and all by denying of filing a case against her husband. Downplaying the whole incident, Roopa stick to by saying that she just “complained” but haven’t filed any case. However, cops have a different version to say.

It may be noted that Roopa had filed a complaint against Sreenu Vaitla on Oct 15 in Banjara Hills police station that her husband is “harassing” her. In fact, cops had filed a FIR under IPC 498 (A). But after the intervention of few big wigs in the industry, Roopa said to have convinced and come to terms with her husband and withdrew her complaint.

When Roopa approached cops on Oct 26th to withdraw the case, the news came into light. It’s learnt that both Roopa and Sreenu are now in happy space after a counselling session.

When KCR, Jagan Failed, Jeevitha Succeeded

Couple of days ago, senior actress and filmmaker Jeevitha along with her husband Rajasekhar and daughters met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and even felicitated him with a shawl. Photographs of Jeevitha and Rajasekhar’s family posing with Modi splashed on social media and on websites.

This got everyone talk about how two of the most powerful politicians in the Telugu states, Jagan and KCR, failed to get Modi’s appointment during their respective Delhi tours. It is well know that Jagan was denied Modi’s appointment twice in January and also during the PM’s recent visit to Amaravati.

And yesterday, Telangana CM KCR who wanted to personally meet Modi and request special status to Telangana and also to relax the cap on the state’s borrowing limit and even to invite him to the Maha Chandiyagam in Hyderabad later this year. However, Modi did not meet KCR due to his other official assignments.

Is it because Jeevitha and Rajasekhar are the members of the BJP party that Modi meet the star couple? The couple is not as popular as KCR and Jagan in politics but still managed to interact with the PM.

Also, Modi is not at all happy meeting Jagan following his hunger strike which was seen as a move for political gain. On the other hand, Modi kept KCR on hold upon knowing his demands for Telangana, since he believes that announcing goodies for AP is utmost priority than for Telangana.

Ram Charan shelves Thani Oruvan Remake?

With the failure of Bruce Lee, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is a very worried man. He is now rethinking on his future project, Thani Oruvan remake. Charan feels that the movie is unconventional for Telugu audience and it may not be wise to attempt it in this bad phase.

He is thinking on the lines to shelve this film and wait for Trivikram to direct him completing his current commitment, A..Aa. However that will mean Charan will be jobless till the second half of 2016.

Since Trivikram project will take 8 months at least to complete, Charan will not have a release in 2016. So the actor is two minds regarding what should be his next project. Pawan Kalyan will be production Ram Charan – Trivikram’s project.

Working with Trivikram will give him a minimum guarantee commercial success as well as bring him closer to all the section of audience, Ram Charan feels. We will have to see what he decides finally!

This particular Chopra girl’s name always does rounds in Tollywood due to her sheer popularity for her initial Bollywood films. She’s none other than Parineeti Chopra, who has now slimmed to new curves shedding kilos of weight.

Earlier Parineeti’s name was strongly heard in connection with Naga Chaitanya’s “Majnu”, which happens to be remake of Malayalam film “Premam”. Later Parineeti rejected the film citing dates issues and Shruti Haasan’s name popped up. Before that, Parineeti’s name has done rounds for Mahesh Babu film too.

And now, it’s being publicised that she’s in talks with producers Mytri Movies for Jr NTR’s upcoming movie under Koratala Siva’s direction. A noted media house revealed that Amyra Dastur will be playing second lead while search is on for main heroine, for which Parineeti’s name is the top contender.

Anyway, earlier Alia Bhatt’s name is also heard for “Nannaku Prematho” but some these Bollywood girls are not clear about their South debuts. Let’s see what happens.
