Popular anchor Omkar, who is pretty famous for reality shows such as Aata had turned film director with Genius which was a disaster. Post this debacle result, this small screen genius took his time to take up his next project. Omkar’s second film Raju Gari Gadhi released on the special occasion of Dasara is turning out to be a super hit for its budget.

Omkar was much confident about his project when the first copy was ready and he had screened the film several times for distributors. Well-known producer Sai Korrapati bought the theatrical rights for good price and promoted the movie splendidly, with a special AV of celebrities talking about mystery in the Raju Gari Gadhi.

Even though, competition was quite high due to other big releases such as Kanche and Columbus, Raju Gari Gadhi opened to good collections since the film has adequate comedy in the presence of Shakalaka Shankar, Sapthagiri, Dhanraj etc. Raju Gari Gadhi is doing exceptionally well in mass centers and is decent in multiplexes.

The hilarious thriller is sure to provide huge profits for producers as well as distributors. It may be mentioned that, the film’s satellite rights fetched good price. Omkar’s wish for giving a hit to his brother his brother has also fulfilled with this flick.

“Akhil” got postponed indefinitely and the new release date is yet to be announced. But this film is going through different talks when it comes about the possible reason for postponement.

One such reason is sub-standard visual effects and computer graphics, which both Nagarjuna and Nitin have confirmed about. Nagarjuna is actually unhappy over a fight sequence shot in forests of Africa, where Akhil fights with a tiger.

As fighting with real tiger is impossible, they have to depend on computer graphics to generate the wild beast. As the graphics turned out sour for that sequence, Nagarjuna asked Vinayak and Co to work with ‘Baahubali’ visual effects team to get best ever output. Otherwise that scene looks cartoonish and will not have any appeal at all.

Hope the sequence turns out well, as Nagarjuna already gave a reminder to Vinayak to chop out the sequence incase if Graphics disappoints again.
