Rajamouli Says No To Amaravathi?
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu maintains healthy relationship with film personalities. In order to make AP capital city Amaravathi foundation laying ceremony a grand success and also to give glamour touch to the event, he is zeroing in film celebrities to perform various programs. As we reported earlier, actor Saikumar is anchoring the ceremony.
Coming to the actual point, Chandrababu Naidu sent his officials to discuss with director SS Rajamouli to supervise venue decoration and other arrangements for Amaravathi inauguration, although the Baahubali maker declined the proposal citing he is hectic busy with script, sets and other pre production works of Baahubali- The Conclusion.
Although, there is some truth in Rajamouli’s explanation, he actually has other reason for turning down the proposal. Rajamouli usually doesn’t like to involve in political events.
Intelligence Changes KCR’s Amaravati Tour
By now, it is almost certain that the Telangana CM KCR will be attending the Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony on 22nd October upon AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s personal invitation. Apparently, KCR earlier decided to first reach the Gannavaram airport and from there by road to the Amaravati inaugural site.
This morning, Telangana DGP Anurag Sharma held a review meet with police officials regarding KCR’s visit to Amaravati. The DGP finally suggested that KCR must avoid the road journey due to security reasons and traffic issues. The review committee further suggested KCR to fly in a government helicopter directly to the Amaravati inaugural site.
KCR will first leave for Suryapet in Nalgonda on the 21st of October. He will stay in Suryapet that night and on the morning of 22nd, KCR will fly in a chopper to Amaravati. KCR’s personal security team will reach Amaravati a day before the event to inspect the security arrangements. Two separate convoys will also be ready to travel by road in case KCR’s air journey plan changes in the last minute.
KCR also told Chandrababu that he will attend the inaugural ceremony along with his wife. Since this will be the Telangana CM’s first ever visit to AP after several years, Chandrababu has taken it as a prestigious challenge and has reportedly ordered the officials to take all the necessary measures to make it a pleasure-filled trip for KCR’s family.
Suspense Still on Sher!
Kalyan Ram’s Sher has finally overcome Censor obstacle. The movie has been cleared by the Censor Board and the regional board passed the film with U/A certificate. While producers claim that the movie got good buzz in trade and state that movie would do well after Pataas, we need to wait and watch till the movie hits the screens. However, there is a suspense on the film’s official release date even after the Censor cleared the film.
Though the Film Nagar buzz is that movie would release on Oct 30th as planned before, the grapevine has it that the makers are still in second thought in releasing the film on Oct 30. Since a slew of films like Kanche, Raju Gari Gadi are releasing for Dasara, the makers of Sher seems to have decided to gauge their result before making their release date public.
Meanwhile, sources close to the unit confirming that movie would come on Oct 30th. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited. Till then, suspense on Sher’s release is still on.
Pawan Hints, But It May Not Be Possible
Yesterday, Power Star Pawan Kalyan went to congratulate his brother Megastar Chiranjeevi at the latter’s residence for the overwhelming response to Bruce Lee cameo. Few recent incidents indicate that, mega family is trying to convey a strong message to fans that, they are inseparable. The mega brothers had good time and Ram Charan was also present during the meeting.
Pawan Kalyan hinted that Sardaar Gabbar Singh would hit the screens for Sankranthi, next year. But, the reality is it is highly impossible, since they are left with over 60% production work and post production works haven’t started yet. Although Pawan Kalyan is continuously working on his maiden production venture, it is unfeasible to wrap up the works in 2 months time.
Sardaar unit has completed a schedule in Hyderabad and they are moving to Gujarat for fresh schedule. The film may see lights in summer, most probably in April. In fact, summer is best season for big films. In the past, few super hits of Pawan such as Kushi and Gabbar Singh were also released in summer.
Pawan Kalyan also revealed that, he will produce a film with Ram Charan and have already listened to 3 subjects. It may be recalled that, Ram Charan also announced to make a film with his babai Pawan Kalyan and is looking for a right script.
Babu Landed In RFC, Invited Ramoji
Looks like AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has determined to make the Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony nothing less than a grand affair. Already, Babu invited the Prime Ministers of India, Japan and Singapore. Yesterday, Babu personally met KCR and the Governor and handed over the invitation cards.
Now, Babu flew down to his longtime friend and media baron Ramoji Rao’s residence at Ramoji Film City in a helicopter and invited him to the Amaravati inaugural ceremony. Ramoji’s son and MD of Eenadu group Ch Kiran welcomed the AP CM at the helipad area near Ramoji’s residence.
Later, Babu was accompanied by Kiran in a car to Ramoji’s residence. Chandrababu requested Ramoji and his family to attend the Amaravati event. This incident once again mirrors the deep friendship bond between the CM and Ramoji Rao.
Mega Fans Scared Varun Tej’s Heroine
Why do star heroes often say they do movies for their fans? Because fans have some demands which are to be met at any cost. From picking up heroines to directors, from meeting certain heroes off the screen to accepting certain roles, these fans should get satisfied. Probably that explains why too close people like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna never meet in public, though they hangout together on all important occasions.
Currently Film Nagar is discussing about mega fans as some sensational stuff gets revealed by a heroine-turned-model Pragya Jaiswal. Apparently the makers of “Krish” has turned a village in East Godavari district into a world-war II time village and shooting there.
When a scene is being shot where Pragya has to slap Varun Tej, the actress haven’t got scared that she has to slap him, but she got scared with the shouts of mega fans who gathered around the shoot. They are said to be shouting ‘don’t slap’ him and also warned her of sequences. Well, when a story needs something, how come these fans take the control into hand?
Of course, Pragya doesn’t know that Varun is from such a big family background, not until the day she has shot together with him.
