Director Sampath Nandi unveiled the first look teaser of Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Bengal Tiger a short while ago on his Facebook page. The 50 seconds teaser is just like a feast for Raviteja’s fans as it is oozing his mark energy.

The little dialogue, ‘Nenu Climate lantodini.. Appudappudu sallaga unta..Appudappudu vechaga unta.. Appudappudu vanikistha” is too good. Particularly the fights and the buildup shots have come out very well indicating a well made mass entertainer.

The director also added couple of shots of the heroine from the songs which also will enthrall the mass audience. Bheems’ rerecording is superb and added more weight to the teaser. Everything looks perfect for the Mass Maharaja to stage a comeback.

Sultry siren Rakul Preet Singh might be bagging biggies and might have few hits to her credit. Yet it is not cake walk for the Punjabi kudi to sustain the phase. Rakul’s last three films – Current Theega, Pandaga Chesko and Kick 2 – bombed at the Box Office making her upcoming release Bruce Lee very important for her at this juncture. Even last year, the only super hit Rakul had was Loukyam. In fact, her another release Rough too tanked without a trace.

Now that she is paired opposite Ram Charan in Bruce Lee, all eyes are on the film which is slated for this Friday release. Bruce Lee is very key for Rakul given that she tasted a series of failures in a row. It’s heard that Rakul is keeping her fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, Rakul’s upcoming films include NTR’s Nannaku Prematho directed by Sukumar and Allu Arjun-starrer Sarainodu (tentative) helmed by Boyapati Srinu. Let’s wait and watch what’s in store for Rakul.

Why AP Spending Huge On Amaravati Inauguration?

On this 22nd October, the people of Andhra Pradesh will wake up to the historic day of the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the state’s capital city, Amaravati. Interestingly, this will be the first time in the entire world that a foundation stone is being laid for a world-class capital city. The presence of the Prime Ministers of two of the most powerful countries in the world, Japan and Singapore, is drawing global attention towards Amaravati inauguration.

Recently, there was a huge criticism about the AP government spending close to 300 crores just for the inauguration ceremony. Opposition parties and even some commoners saw this as a waste of valuable money when the state is reeling under a huge financial crunch. But here’s why the spending of such a huge amount is justified.

Amaravati inauguration is no small event as it involves the attendance of several prominent world leaders, top brass industrialists and celebrities from all walks of life. To carry out a smooth and an impactful ceremony, it requires several logistics from flying flights to plying cars which in turn it need a lot of money.

Let’s take the example of the grand Olympics inaugural ceremonies. Every four years, countries that host just a 2-week Olympic event spend hundreds of crores of rupees on the inaugural and closing ceremonies. The result, entire world’s attention will be on the event, which generates huge revenue through sponsorships, TV rights and advertisements etc.

On the contrary, Amaravati inauguration is not a 2-week affair but it lasts forever in the history. One should not see the spending of 300 crores on the inauguration ceremony as a wastage but as an investment, just like the Olympics. With such a pompous inaugural ceremony, the world’s confidence on the state may increase which inturn may result in investments to the tune of thousands and even lakhs of crores of rupees.

After the construction of Amaravati and when AP treads the developmental path, this 300 crore investment will only be seen as a seed that sowed a huge dream called Amaravati.

Rudhramadevi To Replace Puli

Filmmaker Gunasekhar’s most ambitious project Rudhramadevi hit the screens on 9th of this month in all the areas, except in Tamil Nadu. Rudhramadevi is a Telugu, Tamil bilingual. But, Tamil version’s release has been delayed owing to some reasons. Unavailability of theaters is prime cause for the postponement. Vijay’s Puli occupied most of the theaters in the neighboring state then.

Now, Rudhramadevi is set to replace Puli from most of the screens from 16th, as Tamil version will have screening from then on. Owing to deficit shares, Puli was already removed from several theaters in last week. With Rudhramadevi arriving this week, the Chimbu Devan directorial will disappear from most of the screens.

The Nandal Films which bought Rudhramadevi Tamil rights is planning to release the historical drama in 400 screens across Tamil Nadu. Makers have made it clear that the movie will be releasing in both 3D and 2D versions.

Allu Arjun and Anushka are recognizable for Tamil audience, while Rana Daggubati became household name in Tamil and other languages after the release of Baahubali.

On the other hand, Rudhramadevi is performing exceptionally well in Kerala. The film has grossed around Rs 1.63 crores in just 3 days, thanks to Allu Arjun’s craze in the state.
