Oh No! 120 degrees fever For KCR?
TRS party MLAs were criticized yesterday for laughing while opposition party leaders conversing seriously about farmers suicides during assembly sessions. Today, a TRS MLA provided full fun for his colleagues.
“Our honorable Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had performed Padayatra in the last government at Gadwal of Mahabubnagar district, despite suffering from 120 degrees fever for the preservation of Telangana farmers rights,” asserted TRS MLA Karne Prabhakar that offered unlimited laughs to other legislative members, including his own party MLAs.
In fact, Prabhakar mistakenly told 120 in place of 102. After seeing question mark in his colleagues face, Prabhakar corrected his words. This incident happened while the MLA was speaking about government’s approach towards farmers suicides. If temperature increases more than 105 degrees, it is danger for health. Then, how it would be if the fever reaches 120!
So, being responsible persons, honorable legislative members should check more than once while speaking at Assembly and other platforms.
Heavy Brainstorming On Akhil’s Time
October 22nd is the date for the Akkineni hero to prove his mettle at box office as an independent hero. “Akhil” is hitting cinemas on Dasara eve and that’s going to decide at what scale our youngster is going to start his career.
With all the shooting done, director VV Vinayak is currently said to be locking the runtime of the film. We hear that the original cut made by our director is around 2 hours 40 minutes and King Nagarjuna wanted him to trim it. Another alternate version is cut now, which stood around 2 hours 10 minutes of run time. While Vinayak and Nitin are said to be favouring the lengthy one, Nagarjuna is opting for a slick runtime.
Currently brainstorming sessions are going on to fix the length of the movie, while re-recording work for certain parts is already being done. With just couple of weeks in hand, we have to see when will they lock runtime and proceed to bringing out first copy for Censoring.
Now, Revanth Is T-TDP Working President
Making the days long speculations true, the Telugu Desam Party has appointed the Telangana TDP’s Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy as the party’s working president for the Telangana state. In the wake of TDP spreading its roots as a national party, the party’s central committee’s president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, appointed the new committee members for the Telugu states just a while ago.
Revanth’s appointment once again proves his command in the region and also Chandrababu’s trust in his leadership abilities in handling the Telangana cadres, despite the ongoing investigations by the ACB in the cash for vote scandal. Senior party leader from the region, L Ramana, has been appointed President of T-TDP.
And for the party’s AP committee, Kala Venkatrao has been made the president, while Nara Lokesh, MP Konakalla Narayana and Revuri Prakash Reddy have been appointed Chief Secretaries of the central committee, which constitutes of 7 leaders from Telangana and 9 leaders from AP as the politburo members.
Change in Nannaku Prematho Spain Schedule
Young Tiger NTR was to begin the Spain schedule of his Nannaku Prematho from October 10th. But now the schedule is now pushed to October 22nd. This will ensure about one month rest for NTR after that London schedule. The Spain schedule will go on for 20 days. Entire shooting part of the movie will be completed by the end of the Spain schedule.
The movie is on track for January 8th 2016 release as Sankranthi Special. The makers are planning to release the first look teaser of the film for Dussehra. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing NTR for the first time in her career.
BVSN Prasad is producing the film under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Young Tiger NTR will be called Abhiram in his next, Nannaku Prematho. Rumours say the actor may be seen as an Interpol Officer in the movie.
Cars Worth 240 Cr Destroyed In A Film Shoot
What will be the reaction when you hear that a film unit blew up an astonishing £24 million (Rs 240 crores) worth of Aston Martin DB10 sports cars just to shoot a very short chase scene? Well, the unit of James Bond’s upcoming movie, Spectre, did this unthinkable, while they were shooting in Italy.
The Spectre unit shot with 10 custom designed Aston Martin DB10s, made especially for the chase scene. The cars, equipped with ejector seat, James Bond’s most famous gadget, ran through the Vatican, the River Tiber and the Colosseum at nearly 110 mph speed and the production crew ended up destroying 7 Aston Martins.
Spectre, starring Daniel Craig once again as James Bond, has been shot in various places like Mexico, Austria and Italy. The film’s trailer has been a huge hit already, and expectations among loyal fans of this superhit action thriller franchise are quite high. Spectre will release worldwide on November 6th.
AP Government Failing In Public Safety?
Ever since the Nara Chandrababu Naidu led TDP government came into power last year, there have been a handful of a tragedies, both manmade and natural disasters. Easily the biggest of them all, the Hudhud cyclone, rattled the spirit of Uttarandhra people. But Chandrababu’s timely support and able administration revived the hopes of people and even people’s trust in Chandrababu increased multifold.
However, some of the mishaps that have been taking place of late have started to show am adverse effect on people’s confidence in the government. For example, nearly 30 devotees lost their lives on the inaugural ceremony of Godavari Maha Pushkaralu in July. While controlling such a huge crowd is indeed a herculean task, it was clearly evident that the government failed in implementing strict security measures. Also, no action has been taken so far on the officials except suspending a few officers in-charge.
Then came the series of student suicides recently, which literally shattered the morale of the student communities across the state. Yet again, the culprits behind the suicides are still at large and the investigations continue to go on forever.
And most recently, the Injection psycho (Psyho Sudigadu), who still continues to terrorise women and children not just from the Godavari districts but the injection attacks have now spread to Guntur and others parts of the state. It is appalling that no culprit has been nabbed even after more than a month.
The most recent tragedy is the mysterious missing of little girl from Vizag, Aditi, who is said to have accidentally fallen into a sewer 3 days ago, and she is yet to be traced, even though a huge team of police and GVMC workers taking part in the search operations.
All these mishaps explain that the Chandrababu’s government has grossly failed in handling public safety and is slowly losing people’s trust. While Chandrababu and his team of ministers have always been assuring people of justice and help, in these crisis times, it’s actions that matter the most than the words.
Why Pawan has Less Followers Than Mahesh?
Currently Superstar Mahesh Babu has 1.57 Million (15.7 lakhs) followers on twitter, while Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who made his debut on the micro-blogging site this January is having 6.6+ lakh followers, which is 3 times lesser that of Mahesh. With Pawan being both a film and political star, why is he having very less followers than Mahesh?
That’s the question posed by director Ram Gopal Varma today. He asked, “If all super star heroes and heroines have more followers than Pawan Kalyan, shouldn’t there be a psychoanalytical research on his fans?”, also adding, “Since Mahesh is not in politics, Pawan should have double of Mahesh because of both film and political fans. Then how come so less?”. What’s the best way to deal with his question?
Take for example, Superstar Rajnikanth who made debut on twitter in last May 2014, has acquired 23+ lakhs followers on twitter, while Sharukh Khan has 1.5 crores followers, and Priyanka Chopra is having 1 crore followers. Does that mean popularity levels too differ in the same way?
Winning twitter followers is all about the length of your debut on twitter and the frequency of tweets you do. Ramu needs to know this logic. Ram Gopal Varma himself had 14.8 lakhs fans on twitter, which is quite close to Superstar Mahesh’s fan base, and we know when he scored a hit last time.
Noted Singer Asha Bhosle Lost Her Son
Even before Asha Bhosle come to terms with the suicide of her daughter (2012), she lost her elder son. Asha’s eldest son Hemant Bhosle was died on Monday (Sep 28) in Scotland. He was diagnosed with cancer five years ago and had been battling with it since then. He was 66-year-old. He wanted to spend his last days in Scotland and was staying there for the past five years.
Following footsteps of his veteran singer-mother Asha Bhosle, Hemant worked as music director and composed a few songs like Jage Jage Nainon Mein (from the film Damaad), Shraddhanjali, Nazrana Pyaar Ka, etc. Asha Bhosle had sung most of these songs.
Asha Bhosle came to know about the tragedy when she was in Singapore and was preparing to leave for Mumbai to attend the planned birthday celebration of her elder sister Lata Mangeshkar. A grand birthday celebration was planned for the Bharat Ratna nightingale Lata who turned 87 on Monday, Sept 28. However, the party has been called off after the news of Hemant’s passing away.
