Nagababu Went Silent For 20 Minutes
Mega brother Nagababu is totally bowled out by his son’s performance, his second film’s story and then the whole concept on a whole. Sharing his excitement, he stated that director Krish bowled him out with the movie’s script.
“I’ve went silent for nearly 20 minutes after Krish narrated me the script. It’s tough to come out of that trance. That’s how he has narrated me the story. For that reason we couldn’t stop but okaying immediately”, said Nagababu. That’s a nice excitement no doubt as his son Varun Tej is coming with his second film.
However, the big doubt anyone has is if director Krish would score the first ever commercial hit. Earlier his acclaimed movies like Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum haven’t worked at box office, though every critic showered them with praises.
Also Nagababu went into similar trance after listening to “Mukunda” story, and that film launched Varun Tej as an able hero but haven’t done wonders for producers. So, let’s hope the young mega hero would score on both fronts this time.
2 Crores Each For These Sr Hotties?
A leading publishing has the other day revealed the remunerations paid to our leading to upcoming heroines. Some figures sound so true and few are part of the guess game. What stunned anyone is the astronomical sum charged by couple of Senior Hotties whose films are not blockbusters in a row, though they have huge crowd pulling capacity.
Anushka and Nayantara are the leading ladies we are talking about. They are here in industry from a decade and still ruling the roost. But we wonder that both are commanding somewhere around 2 to 2.25 crores remuneration.
Because that raises eyebrows if these two hotties are really worth the investment. Probably Anushka is trying to pull films on her own past Arundathi, but no other film with her in the solo lead has worked big till date, while Rudramadevi is yet to release and prove.
And then coming to Nayantara’s case, hero solo movies like Anamika failed big time. So, it’s surprising to hear that 2.25 crores is what they charge. Maybe, there is no other actress in the star league that could pull a film like these two and hence the pay.
Telugu Hero Getting Busy In Tamil
After struggling to find a foothold in Tollywood for several years, young actor Sundeep Kishan finally tasted a huge success with Venkatadri Express. However, almost all his films that released later disappointed big-time, barring Beeruva, which was an average bet at box-office.
Sundeep teamed up with his best friend and happening young actress Regina for a Telugu-Tamil dark comedy, which is readying for a release.
Now, Sundeep added yet another Tamil film to his kitty as he signed popular Tamil producer CV Kumar’s directorial debut, which will be jointly produced by CV Kumar and leading Tamil production house Studio Green. In the past, CV Kumar produced path-breaking low budget hit films like Pizza, Soodhu Kavvum and Villa.
The film has music composed by young and successful music director Ghibran and Leo John Paul is the film’s editor, Eddie Gopi Amarnath handles the camera department. The film will be launched formally on October 5th 2015.
