Bruce Lee Audio Launch date!
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s latest offering Bruce Lee is nearing completion. The makers are hurrying up with the shoot so that the movie will see light on October 16th as Dussehra Special according to their plan.
On the other side, the makers are planning the audio release event of the movie on 26th of this month. The venue for the event is yet to be decided. The song making video released today had got good applause.
Thaman had composed tunes for this movie. The presence of Chiranjeevi’s cameo makes the movie hot cake in audience and as well as the trade. Expectations are riding very huge on the film.
Late.K.Balachandar wanted to direct Samuthirakani
Samuthirakani initially directed flop movies like ‘Unnai Saranadainthen’ and ‘Neranja Manasu’. Both the movies failed miserably and he moved to serials. He worked in Radhika’s Radaan and gained some experience.
Later he came and directed ‘Nadodigal’ and the movie was a huge success. ‘Poraali’, ‘Nimirnthu Nil’ made him a lead director. He acted as a rigid cop in the movie ‘Eesan’. Later ‘Saatai’ earned him accolades.
He earned a good reputation in short period. He also chooses scripts wisely and he is one of the most wanted character artist right now. Recently in ‘Paayum Puli’ he did role of antagonist and a bad politician.
Now in a recent interview, Samuthirakani said, he was called by Late.K.Balachandar and he has said that he wanted to direct a movie with him. The director has also praised that his eyes were powerful and will suit the role.
Shrutihaasan praises her dad
The trailer of ‘Thoongavanam’ was launched yesterday. Various celebrities attended the function apart from the team and cast of ‘Thoongavanam’. One among them is Shrutihaasan.
Shrutihaasan who attended the launch showered praises on her father. Shruti was seen in a black frock with short hair. Her waist line was exposed and she looked dazzling as ever.
After the function, Shrutihaasan showered praises on her father. She even posted a selfie with her father and tweeted, “So proud of you appa!! #thoongavanam. Heavy metal runs in haasan blood!!!”
The actress was also seen with Gautami, Khushbu Sundar, Vishal, Prakash Raj in a late night party. The actress meanwhile expects release of ‘Puli’ on October 1st and she is also shooting for ‘Thala 56’.

Courier Boy Kalyan Movie Review – 2.5/5
Nithin’s Courier Boy Kalyan was launched few years ago but didn’t release all these days as the producers ran into financial troubles. The film is finally out in theaters now.
Story :
Kalyan (Nithin) reluctantly agrees to do the job of a courier boy to help his friend. He meets sales girl Kavya (Yami) with whom he falls in love at the first sight. Kalyan continues to do the job to impress Kavya. A courier is sent to activist Satya Murthy (Nasser) about a high level conspiracy planned by few doctors (Asutosh Rana, Ravi Prakash and others). That courier lands in Kalyan’s hands. He should see that the truth is out against all the odds.
Performances:
Nithin is apt in the role of Kalyan. He is extremely good in the scenes where he tries to woo Yami Gautham. He is competent in the action scenes too. However there is little he could do about the half baked script. Yami Gautham is as gorgeous as ever. She has no role to play in the main story. Asutosh Rana is alright and Nasser too is fine. Rajesh and Harshavardhan are good in the supporting roles.
Technicalities:
Sai Prem has come up with a different plot but couldn’t make it into an interesting feature film. Direction is good only in parts. Sai Prem should have concentrated on writing a tight screenplay instead of wasting time on the sub tracks that don’t help the main plot in any way.
Songs are okay. Karthik and Anup have given some good tunes but the film doesn’t have space for songs. Background score is good. Cinematography is alright. Editing is neat. The film’s runtime is just over hundred minutes. Editor did a good job to keep things short and tight.

Final Say:
Courier Boy Kalyan is a good attempt in terms of a novel point but the entire essence of the film is lost by inducing unnecessary commercial elements which actually killed the movie experience. The most liberal assessment of the film can be a just okay watch.
