Want to plant my feet in Bollywood first: Akshara Haasan
New Delhi: Actress Akshara Haasan says she would like to establish herself in the Hindi film fraternity first and then move to Tamil and Telugu films like her elder sister Shruti Haasan.
“I would love to (do Tamil and Telugu films), but right now is not the time for me to go there. I would like to settle my feet first in Bollywood and then move there,” Akshara told IANS.
Akshara, who is the daughter of veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika, even hopes to share screen space with her parents someday, but she would like to first “establish” herself as an actor before she can manage the feat.
“I would actually like to establish myself as an actor first because both my parents are powerful and strong actors so, I need to up my game before I could dare sharing the screen space with both of them,” she said.
The actress, who was seen donning an “innocent” bride’s look at the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2015, added that she “chooses” her “own scripts”, but consults her parents only if she is “not sure”.
“I can take my own decision, both my parents have given opportunity to grow and make my own decisions in life,” she added.
Talking about the other Bollywood projects in her kitty, Akshara, who was last seen in R. Balki’s “Shamitabh”, said: “Nothing has been confirmed as yet. There are a few discussions happening, but nothing I can say is confirmed.”

Premsai who has assisted Prabhu Deva turned director with this movie which is believed to be a remake of Hollywood thriller Premium Rush.
Courier Boy Kalyan was launched two years ago but didn’t release as the producers faced financial struggles. Nithin will heave a sigh of relief as the film finally makes way to the theaters.
Courier Boy Kalyan will also be the only release for Nithin this year. He has been waiting for the right project since Chinnadana Neekosam that was released in last December.

Rana to Turn Really Cruel
Part 1 has upped the expectations for Part 2 and the main villain of the film Rana is already hinting as to what to expect from the next part of Baahubali.
In an interview given to a newspaper, he revealed that the second part will show Bhallaladeva in complete negative mode.
It is known that Bhallaladeva, the role played by Rana in Baahubali – The beginning, takes the throne after killing Amarendra Baahubali and later imprisons his wife.
But the first part does not show how Bhallaladeva took the reins of the kingdom from Baahubali, the king of Mahismati province.
This will be shown in the second part and the main focus will be on the cruelty of Bhallaladeva.
Rana says there will be more villainy in the second part. “I look like a mad man,” he told the paper, saying that the shooting will commence from mid-September.
Baahubali has become the third biggest grosser in Indian movies and Baahubali 2 is to be made on an even larger scale to reach a much wider audience.
Talk is that a couple of big corporate companies are bidding to buy the rights for an astronomical price.
Lashkar-e-Toyiba Chief seeks ban on Indian film
Though Bollywood films have great market in Pakistan even more than the market of Pakisthani films, some Indian films are due to get banned easily. The main reason for this discretion is allegedly the anti-Pakistan content. Whenever a film is made with underlying themes of terrorism, Pakistan based terrorist organisations grow conscious and seek ban on such films.
The upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Phantom’ is also facing the heat from banned Lushkar-e-Toyiba Chief Hafiz Saeed for references pointing towards him making him responsible for Mumbai Terror attack. He moved Lahore High Court by his petition to ban the film in Pakistan.
He argues that ‘Phantom’ is anti Pakistan and spreading filthy propaganda on the country. Global terrorism is discussed in the film and some characters in the film have bold but veiled references to the alleged terrorist groups and their leaders like Saeed. The Lahore High Court refused to ban and asked for the respondents version on the movie.
Interestingly, this movie is directed by Kabir Khan who has a penchant for making films touching ‘India-Pakistan’ issues. His ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was about two secret agents, one from India and the other from Pakistan, falling in love. This movie was banned in Pakistan.
However his latest release ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ was spared from ban and is running successfully to packed theatres in Pakistan even surpassing the collections of regional films in the country. The fate of ‘Phantom’ would be decided after Pakistan Censor Board clears the issues.
