Mahesh-Rajamouli, a Stunt or Reality?
Few years ago Rajamouli met Mahesh Babu to narrate a storyline and both of them were pretty excited to share the news. Superstar fans were super thrilled with it but Rajamouli and Mahesh never made any efforts to put the wheels on. At an event Rajamouli asked Mahesh fans about the kind of movies they wanted to see Mahesh Babu in.
Ever since they have been busy with other projects and fans slowly lost hopes on the sensational project.
Even Mahesh Babu never mentioned Rajamouli’s film when talking about his future assignments. Rajamouli has once again raised hopes by stating that the project with Mahesh Babu is on.
He says that the storyline has been approved by Mahesh and will be produced by KL Narayana on Durga Arts.
‘It will materialize at the right time’ is what Rajamouli said and this has to be underlined.
Rajamouli is yet to complete Baahubali second part, which would easily take another year to hit the screens.
Rajamouli just told he would make a movie with Mahesh, but didn’t announce that he is going to do his next movie with him.
No Baahubali contribution for Amaravati construction
The other day we have let out a news that there are rumours of Baahubali team planning special Premieres of the movie in Vijayawada, Guntur and important towns of CRDA region and the collections of this special screenings will be proceeded towards the Capital construction fund of Andhra Pradesh government.
However we got a confirmation that these news are all false. APHerald.com contacted the Krishna and Guntur district distributors of the movie regarding this news and they say there are no such plans either from them or the makers. They also add that there are several rumours like this being floated to sell fake tickets.
A team of 900 members toiled hard for about 3 years to make Baahubali-1 which is gearing up for release on July 10th. The Pre-production itself had taken one year. Baahubali is also the costliest film ever made in the Indian film history. Due to the run time problems, Baahubali is being made in two parts and both of them together will cost about 250 Crore for the makers.
Pakistan qawwali family fuming on Salman Khan
We’ve already updated our readers how Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’s title became a point of controversy and a legal notice was sent to the team for having a Hindu and Muslim name in the title. Now another controversy regarding a qawwali song used in the film has surfaced.
The qawwali song ‘Bhar Do Jholi’ was rendered by the music composer of the film Preetam Chakravorthy. The original qawwali song was written and sung by famous Sabri family who belong to Pakistan. Now Sabri’s are fuming on Salman Khan for using the song without taking prior permission from them.
But Salman Khan is unmoved by the legal threat from Sabris and says that there are no legal issues on this song as he has been listening to this qawwali song sinch childhood. If there are any problems, he would really look into that. A film made touching Pakistan and using a Pakistan song can’t be sure of courting no controversies. What say?
$3 Billion Investment On The Way To Donakonda
On Friday, a high profile delegation from the Chinese multinational giant, Dalian Wanda, landed at the unused Donakonda airbase in Prakasam district and went on an inspection to chalk out the possibilities to invest about $3 billion near the capital region. The Chinese delegation was accompanied by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) officials.
Dalian Wanda primarily envinces interest in the commercial property, luxury hotels, culture and tourism and retail sectors and the delegation examined the possibilities of setting up a world-class industrial park in Prakasam district and other ventures in Amaravati. The delegation thoroughly inspected the state’s natural resources and the extended coastline, a key gateway for industrial flourishing.
After an overall aerial survey, the delegation inspected about 8,000 acres in and around Donakonda. Already, the AP Government identified upto 20,000 acres in Donakonda for an industrial city worth Rs 5,000 crore and to be build on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis. Apart from Donakanda, the delegation will also cover Prakasam, Nellore and Chittoor and Hanuman Junction.
During the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent China visit, the Dalian Wanda officials promised to invest huge in India and already scouted for suitable lands in five northern cities but were not satisfied. Sensing an opportunity, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu quickly ordered his team to roll out a red carpet to the Dalian Wanda officials, including offering them a ride in the government’s helicopter.
In Discussion: Comedian’s Self Satires
It takes guts to throw satires on self. Big stars like Pawan and Mahesh have that unique ability to accept their flop as flop and they keep saying that it’s a flop in their following interviews. Drawing inspiration from them, comedian Vennela Kishore has thrown few satires on both himself and film industry in the latest movie “Superstar Kidnap”.
Kishore actually played the role of himself in this movie, as the movie’s protagonists kidnap him accidentally as they mistook to Mahesh Babu. In some scenes, when people ridicule Kishore as just comedian, he says, I’m a comedian and director too. He is then nailed for directing two back to back disasters. For starters, his directorial ventures Vennela 1.5 and Jaffa are crap movies that didn’t run even for a couple of days at box office. Kishore has thrown punches on himself as a bad director couple of times while others scorn him many times.
At the same time, Kishore mentioned in a scene that he used to live life king-size in USA as a software engineer with beer in hand and work in other hand, but now after becoming a movie star he’s being treated cheaply by film producers. This sounded like as if he is revealing his real-life plight. Apart from thoriwng satires on himself, he did sling a few at his producers too.
Bhimavaram Fans ‘Royal’ Rally On July 10th
To mark the arrival of Prabhas Varma as Baahubali and Sivudu on July 10th seems like his fans from native Bhimavaram are planning some exorbitant stuff. That includes a rally, which is first of its kind, as it looks more like a Royal Procession than just a rally by a crazy bunch of fans.
Reports are coming out that two elephants, fifty horses and 100 Royal Enfield bullet bikes along with nearly a thousand of Prabhas fans will be rallying on the roads of town on Baahubali release day. All this looks possible to organise, but what matters is the safety and security issue. With as many 50 horses and two elephants strolling on the streets, it will be tough to control the animal if something goes haywire. It will be a big surprise to see Police giving permission for this rally just in case.
Some sources revealed that police asked the organisers to limit their count to 5 horses and completely keep the idea of elephants aside in case they want to go ahead with the procession. Let’s wait for more updates.
Sandra likely to be arrested?
Telangana ACB had issued its second notice to TDP Khammam MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah in the Cash for Vote case. They asked him to attend before them for investigation by 5 PM on Monday.
Last time when Sandra did not attend the interrogation he was give notice under CRPC Section – 160 in which he can be treated only as a witness. But this time he is given the notice under CRPC Section – 41 which allows ACB to arrest him if they are not satisfied by his answers.
Along with Sandra, Sebastian’s Friend Jimmy and Revanth Reddy’s personal staff were also given the notices. With Revanth Reddy getting bail and even Supreme Court standing by Revanth in this case, TDP alleges that TRS government may resort to Sandra’s arrest as revenge politics.
Evidences found on Jagan in Dalmia Cements case!
Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy may find himself in more trouble after CBI had found evidences about the quid-pro-quo deal with Dalmia Cements. CBI had encrypted some crucial documents and emails in relation to this case.
In one of the email, auditor Vijaya Sai Reddy said they have received the consignment of 3500 tonnes and asked the company to send the remaining 500 tonnes. CBI says tonnes refer to Crores. All these transactions took place between May 2010 and June 2011.
CBI had verified all the cement deals of Dalmia Cements during this period and no such transactions took place regarding cement and they are actually referring to money. CBI had found evidences from Union Commercial Tax department that no cement was sold to Jagan during this period. Court had recognized this as bankable evidence and admitted it.
Nag repeating the same after 15 years?

Nagarjuna, one of the four senior star heroes is definitely a bit different from his contemporaries. The speciality lies in his younger looks competing with the younger generation. Pairing up with any one of the present younger heroes, he would look their elder brother though he in reality is a father of two young heroes.
If we go back to 2001, Nag and his nephew Sumanth played friends in ‘Snehamante Idera’. Nag didn’t look even a bit older to Sumanth in that movie. After 15 years, Nag would be repeating the same if the speculations come true on his role as a friend in the multi-starrer.
Donakonda in AP going to get 3 B USD
Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda is contemplating an investment of about 3 billion USD in Andhra Pradesh. The company’s representatives held a series of talks with the state government and are planning a world-class industrial park in Prakasam district along with other ventures in the capital region of Amaravati.
CM Chandrababu Naidu finalized this deal with the company CEO in his previous China tour. The company had its presence in commercial property, luxury hotels, culture and tourism and retail. The company is likely to be allotted over 8,000 acres of land in and around Donakonda and the villages of Rudrasamudram, Pochamakkalapalli, Bhumanapalli, Ragamukkalapalli and Indlachervu.
The delegation from Dalian Wanda also scouted few areas in the capital region. The company already toured five Northern states to setup their facilities but are unimpressed. But they are very interested in investing in AP.
Beyond phenomenal advance booking for Baahubali
Advance bookings of Baahubali have opened yesterday in few locations and today many more have been added. The response is beyond the expectations to put it mildly.
Tickets have been sold out in minutes for entire day wherever they have been opened for. At places where tickets are given at counters one is witnessing serpentine queues. This phenomenon is not just restricted to the bigger A centers, it’s the same all over across all the centers.
The response is the same outside our two Telugu states too. In Chennai where ever the advance booking has been opened tickets for the movie have been sold out six days in advance. Tamil trade people are astonished with this achievement and they are comparing it to the advances witnessed during the Enthiran times.
Is There Hidden Meaning In JC’s Comments?
JC’s comments on Pattiseema seem to be ambiguous and those in political circles feel that he has made some strategic comments.
What has raised many eyebrows is his comment about his considering YSRCP leader Jagan as his son. JC also gave a suggestion to Jagan saying that he must keep off from commenting about Pattiseema and Chandra Babu Naidu.
Since Babu has been trying to give water to Rayalaseema, JC said that Jagan must remain silent for now. However, if the project does not fulfill its purpose, then they could take on Babu jointly said JC.
But the big question is, will JC really take on Chandra Babu if the water does not come to Rayalaseema?
On the other hand, JC also quipped that he was not expecting a minister’s post as Babu would never let him into his Cabinet.
Well, after listening to his entire comment, one is left wondering if JC indirectly made a ‘mahatma’ out of Babu after all.
Undavalli, Nehru To Join Y Congress?
It is being said that YSRCP leaders have been trying to get senior Congress leaders into their party.
Ex MP Undavalli Arun Kumar and prominent leaders from Krishna district Devineni Nehru and ex MLA Malladi Vishnu and ex minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar from West Godavari district are among those who are said to be in talks with YSRCP.
Since Undavalli happens to be a good orator and is good at arguing, YSRCP is said to be keen on bringing him in.
On the other hand, it is being felt that Devineni Nehru joining party would strengthen their base in Krishna district. However, another MLA from Krishna district Kodali Nani and ex MLA Vangaveeti Radha Krishna has been opposing Nehru joining the party.
Well, it remains to be seen if these issues will be resolved and if they will finally join the party. Of course, all this is going to take some time surely.
Rajinikanth, Vikram May Team Up For ‘Enthiran 2’
Superstars Rajinikanth and Vikram are most likely to join hands for the highly anticipated sequel to filmmaker S. Shankar’s blockbuster “Enthiran”. The pre-production work on the project is already underway.
“Rajinikanth sir is already on board. Vikram is quite excited about the project, but he’s yet to sign on the dotted line,” a source told IANS.
Since Vikram already has two projects in his kitty, he’s taking time to take a call.
“For the next six months, he’ll be busy shooting for two yet-untitled Tamil projects. With such a busy schedule, he’s concerned how he’s going to take out time for ‘Enthiran 2’. Hence, the delay in signing the project,” the source said.
Vikram has been reportedly offered the role of the antagonist in the film.
“It’s not sure what role he’ll be playing. It’s one of the important characters, but it can’t be said certainly whether he’s playing the baddie,” the source added.
The pre-production work started a few months ago on the project, which is going to be directed by Shankar.
Rajinikanth will start shooting for his next film with director Pa. Ranjith from August and as soon he completes it, he will take a short break and start work on “Enthiran 2”.
Kamal’s Ex-Wife Hits Back At Alimony Claims
Vani Ganapathy, renowned danseuse and Kamal Haasan’s ex-wife, condemned Kamal’s claims of going bankrupt and moving into a rented house after paying her the alimony as a part of divorce settlement. In an interview to an English news daily along with his daughter Shruti Haasan on Father’s day, Kamal said that he went bankrupt after his divorce with his first wife.
Refuting these claims, Vani said that Kamal never owned a flat during their marriage that lasted from 1978-1988 and him moving into a rented house after divorce has no truth to it. Without disclosing the amount, Vani said that the alimony wasn’t too big and that the court would not have allowed to make someone go bankrupt for paying alimony.
Vani Ganapathy further said that she has not been on talking terms with Kamal for several years and that dragging her name into his personal issues after so many years has left her shocked and that her family is quite upset with Kamal’s statement. Kamal, after divorcing Vani Ganapathy, married Sarika, which again ended up in a divorce.
