Sankranthi is one of those biggest seasons for Telugu film industry as the holiday season will ensure that collections are maximised for any ordinary flick. For that reason, all biggies try to focus on this season for their releases. From last couple of years, we are witnessing the Mahesh Babu Vs Ram Charan duel at Telugu box office. It’s no different for next year too.

For 2015, Pawan Kalyan’s Gopala Gopala released all alone at box office with not much competition around. But in 2013 and 14, we have seen Mahesh-Charan clashing with their Seethamma Vaakitlo and Nayak, and then with 1-Nenokkadine and Yevadu. Once again, Mahesh confirmed that he will hit cinemas on January 8th, 2016 with “Brahmotsavam”.

So what about Charan? No, there is no film of this Mega Powerstar that could get ready by that time, while Sreenu Vytla’s film releases in October 2015 itself. But it is earlier revealed that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie is likely to release for Sankranthi. The ambiguity still continues over this announcement, as the movie hasn’t taken off yet.

Even if Charan and Megastar Chiru leaves or misses the Sankranthi slot, there is another mega hero who wants to compete with Mahesh Babu. He’s none other than Stylish Star Allu Arjun. With Boyapati film likely to get rolled from July19th, we hear that 14/15th January is being confirmed as release date of the movie by producer Allu Arvind. So, get ready for another wonderful clash of titans.

On June 30th, 2000, first ever film of Megastar Amitabh Bachhan’s son Abhishek was seen by the world. AB Junior’s “Refugee” released on that day, which also marked the debut of Kareena Kapoor as actress. On this occasion, the 39 year old hero thanked everyone on that team including Kareena, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Sunil Shetty and director JP Dutta.

Needless to say, Jr Megastar hasn’t tasted a success like that of his father, but made his presence felt with movies like Bunty Aur Bubly, Dostana and Guru. Abhishek Bachhan is a lesson for all-

There are actors and actresses who killed themselves after not being able to make it big in Film Industry. Fans may reason various happening that have thinned out chances of these celebs, but how should a guy like Abhishek feel then?

His father is a legend. His mother Jaya is a star heroine then. And his wife Aishwarya still rules the roost. And these three have Padma Awards to their name. But Abhishek never had that big Shahrukh-Akshay kind of stardom, neither a recipient of state awards. Power packed performer Prakash Raj has been roped in as the brand ambassador for the Save Tiger campaign initiated by the popular Kannada news channels, Suvarna News and Kannada Prabha. The 45 day campaign is aimed at creating awareness and encourages preservation of tiger habitats in the state. Karnataka has the highest tiger population in its five tiger reserves.

Prakash Raj has already kick started the campaign as he visited one of the tiger reserves in Karnataka and interacted with the forest official. Prakash Raj also met a large group of school children and local kids to raise awareness about tiger conservation among them. The actor will also participate in talk shows on the TV channels and also feature in the specially filmed ads.

One can trust Ram Gopal Varma on making statements that do grab headlines. Well, after commenting about everything and anything, his latest statement is about the criticism against his consistent flops.

Well, in his usual inimitable style, Ram Gopal Varma says that irrespective of whether a film is a hit or a flop, there is absolutely no loss.

He argues that even if a film flops, a producer is actually spending his money among all those associated with the film.

Varma argues that the producer must not cry foul if a film flops since others are getting paid with the money.

He further adds that even if the producer flops, at least 100 other people are getting their means of livelihood. His argument is that instead of putting money into Tirupathi hundi, it would be best if a producer takes the risk and produces a flop film.

Well, while Varma always tries to enlighten the audiences with his thoughts, this argument appears as if he is trying hard to justify his own movie-making skills.

Gunasekhar has pinned all hopes on his latest project, Rudramma Devi. He is even turning producer with this and is investing quite a big amount on it. Adding to his woes, there is a bad response to the movie in trade and so Guna is struggling to release the film.

It is said that Mahesh Babu had come up to help Guna. Mahesh offered to help in the movie promption which may get some hype to the movie. Gunasekhar gave Mahesh Babu the first blockbuster of his career with Okkadu and Mahesh is paying back with this gesture.

Mahesh Babu was to play the role of Gona Ganna Reddy in this film. However he could not due to dates problem. Guna then roped in Allu Arjun to play the role. Rudramma Devi is likely to release in the second half of August.
