Last month there was lot of buzz about Ileana’s first item song. Media reports said she accepted the offer that came from Akhil Akkineni to do a hot sizzling number in his maiden movie. Latest information is that she is yet to nod in affirmative.

Akhil Akkineni, Nagarjuna’s younger son, is debuting as hero in director V V Vinayak’s new movie that is being produced by actor Nithin.

With a reported budget of Rs 50 crore, Akhil Akkineni’s movie is being touted as the costliest debut movie for any hero in South Indian cinema.

It was true that Ileana was approached for this movie for an item song as it would add more glamour quotient but Ileana has not said yes so far.

Ileana ruled the Tollywood for years before she entered Bollywood. Her last Telugu film released in 2012 and since then she hasn’t appeared in any film in Telugu as a heroine or in cameo appearance.

He named all Chennai Super Kings players Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo and added real estate tycoon Baba Diwan of HDIL gave laish gifts promising cash and flats of worth Rs 60crs.

However BCCI denied all the allegations saying the players are not involved in match fixing scandal. BCCI is vertically divided with some giving clean chit to the players while some refusing to comment. People and sports lovers are questioning “Are these star players all saints?”

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film which is being canned in Thailand for the last few days, is almost nearing the end of the schedule. The entire schedule will be completed by 4th of next month. Currently they are canning an action sequence on Akhil in Krabi, Thailand. 80% of the shooting will be complete by the end of this schedule and the remaining film will be completed in Hyderabad.

The makers are planning to release the movie on September 22nd on Vijaya Dasami day. This is likely to be the costliest ever film of a debutant. The movie has got tremendous expectations particularly after that two making videos released so far and the onus is on Vinayak to give him a perfect launch pad as he did for Bellamkonda Srinivas with Alludu Seenu.

Sayesh Saigal, the granddaughter of Bollywood Superstar Dilip Kumar is playing the female lead in this film.SS Thaman and Anoop Rubens will be jointly handling the music department. Hero Nithin is turning producer with this film under his family’s Sresht Movies Banner. The film has the story penned by ‘Damarukham’ fame Veligonda Srinivas.

A new schedule of Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana began today in Ramoji Film City. The makers are canning a colourful family song for the film which involves all the artists in the film. A big set is erected in RFC for this purpose.

After this schedule, Nagarjuna will head to Europe for a new schedule of his other film, a bilingual with Karthi. Our readers are already aware that Nagarjuna was not satisfied with some portions of Soggade Chinni Nayana and brought writer Sai Madhav Burra to rework on this script.

Nagarjuna bagged a very precious hit with Manam after a long time and so he is very careful in his career going further since his retirement is nearing. And so he is not taking any chances with Soggade Chinni Nayana.

Nagarjuna himself is producing the film under his Annapurna Studios banner. A new comer Kalyan Krishna is wielding megaphone for this project.

Usually they say star heroes are egoistic and reserved. But that does not seem to be the case with Stylish Star Allu Arjun who recently became the first Telugu hero to have two consecutive 50 Crore share films.

The actor reportedly watched Sundeep Kishan’s Tiger recently and appreciated the actor. Sundeep himself confirmed this in his Twitter account. He revealed that Bunny even appreciated him for Venkatadri Express too.

The movie had collected about 1.63 Crore share in both the Telugu States in the first weekend of its release and is doing well even on the week days too.

Given that there are no significant releases the next week, Tiger is expected to have good run till Baahubali releases on July 10th.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali is likely to shatter all the existing records in Telugu films. The euphoria of the film indicates that the movie irrespective of the result will be an industry hit for sure.

On the other side, there is a huge demand for the movie’s benefit shows in Hyderabad city. Dil Raju, the distributor of the movie in Nizam is saying that the movie’s benefit shows will be screening in at least 20 theaters in Hyderabad like never before in the history.

Also the ticket prices are set up as minimum 1000 and is likely to go up to 1500 and 2000. On the other side, the makers are planning a huge premiere on July 9th night.

All the five screens of Prasads Multiplex are likely to host the premiere which will be attended by the who-is-who of the film industry. Baahubali is all set for a grand release on July 10th in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages.

The makers are expecting a 4000+ screen release for the movie across the globe. As the release date draws closer, the makers have intensified their promotions.
