When did we last hear about Sumanth? Sometime back when he’s romancing Thai heroine Sawika Chaiyadech in Chandra Siddartha’s “Emo Gurram Egara Vachhu”. Back to back disasters have confined him to a no-film world and this Akkineni camp hero is moving his pawns to make right move.

Latest update is that Sumanth is in talks with Bollywood producers for the remake of runaway Hindi hit film “Vicky Donor”. After watching the film through a common friend, Sumanth got pretty excited with the total story, the sperm donor concept and the energetic love story. Ayushman Khurana has played the lead role in Vicky Donor while Yami Gautham is his leading lady. Also the film portrayed difference between Bengali and Punjabi cultures quite well. We need to see how for Sumanth will succeed in remaking this flick.

Earlier couple of Tollywood producers and heroes, including talented Siddharth tried to remake Vicky Donor in Telugu but somehow all those plans got dropped. Later reports have come out that Varun Sandesh is getting ready to star in the film’s Telugu version. Now, it’s Sumanth’s turn.

If the ongoing media reports are to be believed, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is mighty upset with the way the first schedule of his long delayed film, Gabbar Singh 2, took place. According to the reports, the film’s first schedule that kicked off in a remote village in Maharashtra went haywire and this resulted in a slight overshooting of the budget.

The reports further say that there could be major changes in the film’s cast and crew and none other than the film’s heroine, Anisha Ambrose, might be replaced with a debutant heroine and the makers are currently auditioning several fresh faces. While Anisha’s replacement is not confirmed by the makers, they are reportedly scouting for the right actress before the second schedule commences.

On the technical front, the film’s art director and Pawan’s close friend, Anand Sai, backed off from the project due to date issues and Brahma Kadali, who impressed with his art direction in Gabbar Singh, has been roped in. even a co-director is reportedly replaced by the makers.

It is surprising to hear about these changes at this point, when the unit has spent more than a year on pre-production. Let us hope that what happens will be in the best interest of the film and that the GS 2 team comes out with a blockbuster film in the end.

Even a tough taskmaster like Rajamouli got shaken by unwanted writings about Baahubali, gossips about its actors and other trash. All of a sudden, he stopped reacting about gossips and became rock-strong. Wow, what led to that situation finally? Has he taught himself to handle rumour world or gave up on them?

“When Baahubali is in initial stages, first rumours have come about Prabhas’ injury. Me and my team used to suffer emotionally while reading such. I used to get frustrated and shout on persons who have written and where it is published. One day, a peak of stage gossip helped me relax, because it taught me there is no need to react”, said Rajamouli. So, what’s that?

“They wrote Prabhas is in coma. At that time he is around us. Then our team has decided to not worry and react about gossips, because those who write them don’t even think how other persons are feeling about it. I thought there is no need to react and feel about such insane stuff”, he added.

Cine experts say that if this is Hollywood, definitely those who have written health bulleting about Prabhas might have got sued.

Tollywood’s Most Successful director, SS Rajamouli is very excited about Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s praise on his magnum opus film, Baahubali. The Big B even went on to say he is displeased with himself for not being a part of the project.

In one of his recent interviews, Manchu Vishnu revealed that he is quite excited about his film with Hanuman as the story was never portrayed on Tollywood silver screen.

Going by Vishnu’s statement and the current buzz, the news seems to be true. In India, Hrithik’s Krrish is considered a real tribute to the superhero genre. In Tamil, Rangam fame Jiiva burnt his hands as he played a mask man in the film, Mask. In the past, stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Dara Singh etc successfully performed indigenous superhero roles and it will be interesting to see our very own Manchu hero nailing it in his style.

Currently, the unit is busy with the film’s pre-production works. The film will be launched once Vishnu is free from the release of his home production, Dynamite. Regina Cassandra, who was branded as a Mega heroine thanks to her teaming up with Allu Arjun, Sirish and currently Varun Tej, will be playing Vishnu’s love interest in this film. Let’s wait for an official confirmation from the film’s unit.

Seductress Kajal Agarwal is off from Tollywood radar due to her hefty pay check demands. Audiences however never mind how much she demands or what producers pay her, as long as her glamorous treats always entice them. She is such a mesmeriser now she has to pull off a massive feat to save Powerstar going from yet another defeat.

We are talking about Tamilnadu’s Powerstar Vijay, who is getting ready with “Puli” in an answer to Tollywood’s Magadheera and Baahubali. That film has super padding for him to support at box office including the likes of Shruti Haasan, Hansika, Sudeep and veteran heroine Sridevi.

But before Puli hits screens, Vijay will be testing Telugu box office yet again with his super hit “Jilla”. Till date this Powerstar of Sambar land never managed to score a hit at Telugu box office, whether the original version in Tamil is a hit or not. Coming to “Jilla”, the huge crowd puller for the film is heroine Kajal and only she would be saving him big time if songs and romantic scenes click.

Earlier Kajal helped Vijay score his first above-average film in Telugu through AR Murugadoss’s Tupaki. Trade circuits are expecting this hot lady’s charms to cast a magic for the second time too. Otherwise, Vijay’s high budgeted epic flick “Puli” will not get luscious offers from Telugu distributors.
