Botsa Confirms Defection, Cong Desperate!
The Congress party seems to be desperate to stall the defection of former PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana into the YSR Congress party.
Even as Botsa made an official declaration on Saturday that he had decided to join the YSR Congress party and would decide the date of joining after discussing with his well-wishers, senior Congress leader C Ramachandraiah exuded confidence that Botsa would not leave the Congress as the latter was a good leader.
It may be recalled that the YSRCP MPs and MLAs called on Botsa on Friday evening at the latter’s residence to request him to embrace YSRCP. Botsa too sent positive signals to the YSRCP feelers. It is learnt that Botsa put some conditions to switch his loyalty to the YSRCP.
However, Botsa’s entry into the YSR Congress party is expected to cause a lot of ripples in the party and according to sources, several party leaders might protest his admission into the party. There might be some resignations from the party as well, say sources.

KCR scared of OU students?
It is apparent that the Telangana State Chief Minister has been making challenges that he would not go back on his word about building houses in the Osmania University campus for the poor. However, the students warned the Chief Minister about not to touch the varsity lands instead give away his farm house lands.
But now the whole scene seems to be changing. It is said that KCR has been calmed down and State Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that nobody has the right to touch the university lands and it is no one’s personal property. However, Nayani said that the students have been listening to the other political leaders who are misleading them.
He also advised the students to be patient and nothing of that sort are going to be done. He blamed the other parties for being misleading the students and making them against the government. But this seems like Nayani forgot a point and missed out one episode. KCR clearly said that he would go ahead and no body can stop him.
Few sources say that now KCR has hinted the students on behalf of him through Nayani as he knew that students can go to any extent if the university lands were grabbed.

People of this country have suffered and remained poor due to short sighted policies of the Congress,” Modi told in an interview.
Lashing out at Congress, Modi said, “Did the coal and spectrum scandals or the CWG fiasco benefit the poor? Everyone knows who were the beneficiaries — some chosen industrialists and contractors.”
Talking on the much-talked about issue of Land Acquisition Ordinance, Modi said that the legislation is not “a matter of life or death for me” and that he was prepared to accept any suggestions.

Telangana TDP CM Candidate Absent In Mahanadu
In a huge shock to the TDP party, prominent BC leader, LB Nagar MLA and the party’s CM candidate from the Telangana region in the last year’s assembly elections, R Krishnaiah, was absent for the just concluded annual three day Mahanadu conclave on the outskirts of Hyderabad, making his absence add fuel to his much rumored exit from the party.
While all the leaders from the Rangareddy district attended Mahanadu, Krishnaiah continues to dodge himself from the party’s most celebrated annual event. It is well known that Krishnaiah has been distancing himself from the party’s activities soon after he became the MLA. It is well known Krishnaish has not been in cordial terms with Babu for not supporting the BC bill in the parliament.
Earlier this month, Krishnaiah called for a ‘Chalo Parliament’ movement to realize the fifty per cent reservations for BCs and demanded the centre to pass the bill immediately. While krishnaiah’s silence still casts suspense over his future plans, political analysts are opining that he may join the TRS party in the future.
